I’ve been a patient at Alafaya Center for Cosmetic & Family Dentistry for about 10 years.  I have had quite a history of dental visits and always looked forward to visiting my Dentist with great trepidation.  All of that went away right from the vary first visit with Dr. Michaelson.  When you arrive, you’re greeted by one of his Dental Assistants who immediately put you at ease.  They take a holistic approach to your care and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable.   I’ve never felt the slightest discomfort in Dr. Michaelson’s chair.  You don’t feel the anesthetic shot, and you don’t feel any of the discomfort from have your teeth worked on.  The entire staff makes sure you know step by step what is going on, and what further treatment you need.  I had 30 years of fillings replaced, several crowns, and a bridge.  They worked with me to get my dental insurance refunds, and each visit ended with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie!  All of the staff there are great people, and Dr. Michaelson is the best.  You’ll wonder why you ever went anywhere else!!!

I have been coming here for over 10 years. I love how at home the staff makes you feel, and Deanna is truly the best! You can get a warm blanket, or a neck pillow, watch a movie or listen to music. They strive to make sure you are at your most comfortable. Then, at the end, you are given an appointment card for your next visit along with cookies to take with you. I don’t care how far away I move, I will ALWAYS come here.

As the wife of a retired dentist, my demands of a dentist are high: I am only comfortable with a dentist who is awesomely competent and attentive to the avoidance of pain. I also require explanation of procedures and options (aka no surprises!). But most of all, I want an excellent cosmetic result. Across the board, Dr. Michaelson and his staff always deliver!

Every single person I spoke to about dental implants over the years warned me against the procedure. Horrible pain, years of office visits and $$$$$ Not true at the skilled hands of Dr Michaelson. Feel free to ask his team to contact me with your phone number for a personalized testimonial. Painless! Seriously!!!!!! I’ve had several procedures in addition to a dental implant.Dr.M has an excellent team to assist him in providing an exceptional experience while sitting in his chair. Creature comforts attended to during your visit. Warm and friendly staff Christine, Deanna, Emma and Katie. Can’t thank you enough for your attention, your outstanding workmanship lastly your compassion. If you’re look for THE dentist in Orlando it’s Dr. Michaelson.

Had a great visit at the dentist office. Something I never thought I would say. But I walked in and they were ready for me. No waiting, I couldn’t believe. First time in my life I’ve had a punctual doctors visits. The staff was very friendly. The lady at the desk Ivette gave me a free cookie!… on the way out cousre.  The customer service was very top notch and they gave me all kinds of comforts. Like headphones, a blanket and even a hand massage. I will be back soon with my wife. I would recommend it to anyone!

Dr Michaelson replaced all of my old veneers with beautiful new natural looking crowns and veneers. I was quoted a lot more for the same work by my usual dentist in Windermere. Dr Michaelson is a total perfectionist and was so patient when I broke the temporaries a few times. My smile is now so much prettier than it was before. I am absolutely delighted and would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone on value and results. All the staff are all extremely professional and friendly too.

Dr. Michaelson and his staff did a fantastic job. They got me in and out quickly without making me feel rushed. Dr. Michaelson took the time to go over my treatment options and what future treatments would entail. I felt very comfortable in the office as precautions have been taken to ensure that both patient and provider are safe amongst the coronavirus pandemic. I could not be happier with my visit to Dr. Michaelson and will be recommending him to any friends/family that need dental work in the future.

This place is amazing, I’ve never posted a review about anything but I could’n’t help it. The staff is so friendly and they go to extents to make sure you’re comfortable. If you’re someone who is afraid of the dentist then this is the place for you. They always remember my name and what I’m there. They also offer a lot of complimentary snacks/drinks. There is nothing that could make this place better.

I have been a patient at this office for over 8 years and cannot say enough great things about Dr. Michaelson. I used to be so anxious every time I had to go to the dentist and now I look forward to going as they have combined a spa atmosphere with a trip to the dentist (I have even gotten parafin for my hands while I was there). The staff is professional, runs on time and always fits me in for an appointment time that works for me. Dr. Michaelson has taken great care of my teeth over the past many years and I often get compliments on my smile because of the work he has done. In any case, I would recommend this office to anyone who wants to actually enjoy going to the dentist!

This place deserves more than 5 stars. I can’t stress enough how much I was DREADING going to the dentist. It had been quite some time since my last appointment so my anxiety was through the roof. Each person in this office went above & beyond to be sweet and make me feel comfortable. I can’t thank Dr. Michaelson and his staff enough. This office is truly the best in town.

Had pretty extensive cosmetic and veneer work done years after a jet ski accident. Couldn’t be happier with the results and absolutely thrilled with the staff from start to finish. This was well over 5 years ago and the procedures have absolutely stood the test of time. Writing this review now as I had a friend ask for a referral after having a job botched at another office, so here we are! Still happy and referring people years later if that says anything! Thank you Dr and all of the wonderful staff.

During the pandemic my retainer broke. Even thought Dr. Michaelson’s office is only allowed to schedule visits one day a week, I called explaining my situation and they answered fast. In my appointment I felt comfortable and well looked after. I’m so grateful that I didn’t have to wait several weeks or months to get medical attention. Just another reason why I’ve been coming here for years.

I just love this office. Every single person in the office is wonderful. There isn’t a single person who isn’t friendly and outgoing. They always remember you, even if they only met you once and and genuinely interested in you as a person beyond whatever you are getting done at the office. I highly recommend and would not go anywhere else.

The people here make a visit to the dentist enjoyable! I know that’s a big statement and one I don’t write frivolously. I used to hate going to the dentist and therefore I avoided it as much as possible. When I moved to Orlando 10 years ago, I waited quite awhile before looking for a dentist. When I finally did, I was lucky enough to find Dr. Michaelson and his wonderful team. Everyone there is professional and super friendly. They all really care about you as a person as well as their patient and go out of their way to make sure you are as comfortable as possible from the minute you walk in until you leave. I highly recommend you check them out. You will always walk out with a smile – pun intended 🙂

Another perfect check up and I really have Dr. Michaelson and staff to thank. There will come a time when I will need to have dental work done….I feel assured the care I will recieve will be pain free and I will continue to be pampered. Dental care at Alafaya Center has never been scary; in fact, I look forward to exchanging updates with every smiling, friendly face there.

Dr. Michaelson is an exceptional dentist and highly professional and meticulous. He has exceeded all of my expectations. The entire team always makes me feel welcomed, comfortable and well taken care off. My decision to have Dr, Michaelson, perform my restorative work has been one of the best decisions i have ever made.I couldn’t be happier or prouder to show off my new beautiful and natural looking smile.

My husband has been going to this dentist for a few years and has always had rave reviews, and now that I am working on the same side of town I decided to try them. Today was my second visit to this office and first cleaning. I’ll be honest, since I was a kid I dreaded going to the dentist. After today, I might actually kind of look forward to it–I cannot believe I just typed that! The staff very friendly with excellent customer service. They explain everything they are doing and their procedures very thoroughly, which I appreciate it. For my cleaning today, they provided a warm neck pillow and head phones playing whatever music I chose (I went with spa music). Most importantly, the cleaning was pain free. That has never happened for me in the past. And my teeth feel great and look better than ever. Then as I was leaving, I was even given snacks for the go. This office has won me over, and I will definitely stick with them!

I haven’t had dental work performed here yet, but I wanted to share my experience. This is the nicest dentist office I have ever been to. My first appointment was also the most thorough dentist, perhaps any, appointment I have ever been to. They really take their time with you and you just know that you’re in good hands. Wonderful customer service. I definitely plan on getting my dental work done here. He’s done beautiful work, with a photo album to prove it.

I had my first dentist appointment in 5 years today. I had a great experience with Dr. Michaelson and his team. They explained all my treatment needs and costs very thoroughly and pampered me during my appointment. I had 3 fillings done and didn’t feel a thing. Thanks for making my first visit so special

I actually live in Los Angeles/Beverly Hills area and I have yet to see such an amazing, friendly, efficient and pampering facility for dentistry. Not only are they up do date on the latest technology in dental advances, but everyone there is so super friendly, and you can tell they take a genuine interest in knowing you and caring for you the best way possible. I’ve been to MANY dentists in my life and I’ve come across some that just want to pile on services to make more money, but I completely trusted that any recommendations Alafaya Dentistry gave me was in my best interest and for the health of my mouth. They also have beautiful pictures of their patients all throughout the office. It’s a little more high-end, but definitely worth it! You must check it out!

If you want an excellent and knowledgeable staff that not only pays attention to the small details of dentistry to make sure you stay healthy and clean, but also provides a comfortable and hospitable experience then there is no other family dentistry in the UCF area. I enjoyed every part of my visit, and the staff made sure I knew what was happening at every step and was able to break down the costs of the next few visits they recommended including projected insurance information. Dr. Michaelson was also extremely personable and took the time after examining me to explain the things he saw. I know the reviewing system only goes to 5 stars, but I would give it 6 if I could.
