I was hesitant because my wedding is in 3 months and I need to replace a tooth that is about to fall out! Other dentists had given me terrible and extremely costly options: 2 years of braces, implants, gum grafts… My entire experience at Dr. Alex’s office was 10/10! Hospitality, transparency and Dr. Alex himself spent a lot of time with me. Took photos at every angle and x-rays on a large TV to show me exactly what could be done. Then he texted the orthodontist and received an immediate response with his opinion. Dr. Alex gave me a cost effective solution to get me through my wedding day and a treatment plan to keep my permanent tooth once I’m back from my honeymoon. I’ll be telling all of my friends to see Dr. Alex!

OMG!! Just met with Dr. Alex and I must say he is really down to earth and truthful. Good vibes and energy from the moment you arrive. Dr. Alex is very knowledgeable about his craft and takes pride in advising and helping his clients. I look forward to me and my family working with Dr. Alex and his staff.

Dr. Alex and his fine staff make the entire visit a pleasure, even the waiting room has great books. However, I cannot say that there is any waiting and I was seen right away. Dr. Alex knew exactly what I needed for my health and my smile and if I wanted to relax there is a headphone and music system. They discuss caring for your new teeth to prevent any problems and I was fitted for a night guard to eliminate grinding. I am confident that this dentist is highly professional and knows of the most recent innovations in dentistry. The staff is calming, efficient and really care. Dr. Alex goes out of his way to help and I am lucky to be a patient.

Real Smile Dental is by far the best dental practice that I’ve been to, so good that I finally made a yelp account just to let others know. I wish I had started going to them years ago. Their office is very clean and modern. Everyone is helpful and friendly and the doctors are informative and professional. They first took me in on a moment’s notice for emergency work and it was instantly clear how much they care for their patients. All of my questions were answered (I asked many questions), and Dr. Rubinov was more than happy to take the time to go further into detail. They did everything they could to make me comfortable and have worked with me instead of working on me. I cannot ask for more from a dentist and based on my experience I will be a happy patient for many years!

I have always had a really great experience at Dr. Rubinov’s dental office. I’ve been a patient for a few years now and have had minor work done when I’ve come in for a cleaning. The office is always comfortable and attractive. Last month I realized I needed something more involved. Dr. Rubinov explained all the necessary steps to me and let me ask all the questions I needed. His wonderful office staff took me through the whole process, on my schedule and within my budget. (And I love that they’re open late during the week and on Saturdays too!) It took me a while to find a dental office that I could trust and now I have.

I was a first time patient of Real Smile Dental and Dr. Alex Rubinov a few weeks ago for a cleaning. I am very skittish when it comes to dentists but from the moment I walked into the practice I was very much put at ease. First, the wait time was basically non-existent. Secondly, the thoroughness of the x-rays and the cleaning that followed was above and beyond my expectations. Furthermore, the practice is very much focused on the comfort of the patients, they are very much in touch with some patients’ apprehensions about dentists. As the dental assistant handed my sound canceling headphones and an iPad, “to make the experience better,” I was in love. The thorough examination by Dr. Rubinov before AND after the cleaning was very comforting in addition to the easy to understand feedback. I went back a second time two weeks later for a routine procedure and the experience was up to, if not above par, compared to the first time I was there. Real Smile Dental is by far THE best dental practice in Bergen County. A++

There aren’t enough positive words to describe my experience with Dr. Alex Rubinov. From the moment I saw his work on social media, I knew I had to pay him a visit. When I first met with him, he was extremely transparent with me and made sure I understood every detail about what was possible. Not only is he patient, caring and knowledgeable, he even went out of his way to personally call me to make sure I was ok after getting some dental work done. The staff also went above and beyond for me. Nicole answered every question I had and was super accommodating. If you are looking for a pleasant dental experience, Dr. Rubinov is your go-to!

Dr. Alex and his staff are fabulous. Even though at times you are coming to the office for not the most pleasant things, everyone makes sure you have a good experience. And the work is exactly what you’d ask for and expect from a top notch dentist. Lastly, one of the pieces that I am most appreciative of is there hands on approach with dental insurance and all of the paperwork and back forth. Strongly recommend.

I highly recommend Alex Rubinov to anyone who needs a dentist. He is a great guy and makes you feel completely comfortable, making the whole dentist experience pleasurable. He is caring and explains all details of the procedures in advance. Most importantly, his staff are kind and attentive always on top of any details regarding appointments and billing. This office always puts my dental fears at ease! He even texted me after to make sure i was ok..he is really the best!!

Last week I had my first appointment with Dr. Rubinov. I’ve visited my childhood dentist twice a year for over 25 years and this 1-hour appointment with Dr. Rubinov redefined (for me) what it means to be a great dentist. After seeing his smile makeovers and friendly disposition on instagram, I made an appointment to repair two chipped teeth. From start to finish, it was a first class experience and I left knowing my smile was in great hands. After I finished filling out some paperwork in the lovely waiting room, Dr. Rubinov came out (right on time) to greet me and brought me to the exam room. He looked at my chipped teeth and patiently walked me through my treatment options and the pros and cons of each. He thoughtfully answered my questions and then let me decide which course of action I preferred. I had some time so he arranged to have my teeth cleaned after providing noise cancelling headphones and a remote for me to select an Apple Music station of my choice so I didn’t have to listen to the cleaning tools as the hygienist worked. I’ve never met a more caring and attentive doctor— it felt more like a spa experience than a dental exam. I cannot wait to go back!

Dr. Rubinov is incredible. After going to a handful of doctors i decided veneers were the best option for me. Braces wouldn’t have given me the complete smile I’ve always dreamed about. I had 10 top Porcelain veneers done and I’m beyond happy with the results. My smile is perfectly straight now, wider and whiter. I get compliments daily from my clients and even random strangers stopping me on the street. Something that I’ve been so self-conscious about for many years was easily fixed in 2 weeks. Dr. Rubinov took the time to ask me questions other doctors didn’t bother to ask such as ..what bothers me about my face and lip shape.. how tall I am and my skin complexion. He took all of this inaccount while crafting me the perfect smile. It’s been over a year and I would say it’s the BEST thing I’ve ever done for myself. I’m sad to say I didn’t do it sooner. I’m finally confident in smiling and no longer have to hide my teeth.
