Dr. Vasserman’s practice is great. I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, so I put off going for several years, until a friend recommended Dr. Vasserman. From the second I spoke with Corrie about scheduling my appointment I felt more at ease, and now after seeing Dr. Vasserman for several years, I actually look forward to going to the dentist! Everyone in the practice is so nice and they are very transparent, which makes me feel empowered about the choices we make regarding my oral health. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Vasserman to anyone looking for a dentist in NYC.

I haven’t had the pleasure of have Dr. Vasserman for my dentist but I know he’s passionate about his career and a I’ve had the pleasure of knowing him through high school. Alex, is a great,smart caring young man and I’m proud of his recent accomplishments and wish him the best of luck

I have been a very happy Dr. Vasserman patient for several years. He, his staff and the comfortable office are all excellent. Dr. Vasserman’s excellence, honesty and caring are part of who he’s is, whether related to preventive care or a more complicated dental matter. Dr. Vasserman knows the latest treatments in the dental field and consults or recommends the best colleague, if necessary. He really takes the stress and worry out of your dental care for any condition. I have TMJ and lived with discomfort prior to visiting Dr. Vasserman. By being compassionate, asking questions and being a great listened, he correctly diagnosed my type of TMJ, explained to me the situation and, best of all, offered the proper necessary treatment. My dental discomfort is finally relieved due to Dr. Vasserman.  I recommend Dr. Vasserman to all my friends who are searching for the “best dentist” in NYC.

Dr. Vasserman is an honest and conservative doctor who can be trusted with his judgement and recommendation. I had more than a few bad experiences with dentist and dental clinics where I felt like the only purpose they had in mind is to make cash. Dr. Vasserman’s priority is the health of his clients, their wishes and conducting procedures that are necessary and make sense. His professional and honest approach combined with outstanding quality of his work and the care his entire team provides to the patience is unique. Dr. Vasserman is a great option also for patience without insurance (like myself). He will be upfront with you and recommend the best options — and won’t just recommend a procedure to make money. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vasserman. By far the best experience I’ve ever had with any doctor. Ever. For starters, Dr. Vasserman and his staff are all just really good people — unbelievably kind, helpful, knowledgable and flexible. As a dentist, Dr. Vasserman is very competent and conservative with his treatments. He always shows and tells you exactly what he is going to do before he does it. He also does a wonderful job of explaining the science behind his decisions and has helped me understand the problems I’ve experienced and his thought processes in a way that I’ve never experience with any other doctor. His commitment to transparency is truly second to none. He is also extremely flexible and empathetic when it comes to figuring out payment plans that work for different people. After months of paying large bills associated with major dental work, he even ended up crediting me back a portion of the work after Delta retroactively denied coverage for some of the work that he had already completed. I was blown away by his flexibility and empathy. Point is, I really can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vasserman and his team. I wish my experience with my other medical providers could be more like my experience with Dr. Vasserman and his staff.

Dr. Vasserman is a very accommodating dentist. He explains every step of his exam and cleaning. I personally have never seen photos of my own teeth with a mirror but using his technique we were able to further examine my teeth. He’ very knowledgeable and even identified a problem I didn’t even know I had – that is my teeth were clenching in a way that I was causing myself some pain when chewing gum. I found him here on Yelp and he took my MetLife insurance. It was a real pleasure to meet him and his office staff couldn’t be nicer. Especially since I had to reschedule the day before my first appointment. I’ve really never had a dental visit quite like Dr. Vasserman’s and look forward to checking out his new office once it’s completed.

Dr. Vasserman and his team went above and beyond to help me. I needed some dental work done and was unable to go to my dentist. I ended up reaching out to Dr. Vasserman’s office. Corrie was so helpful in confirming the details and fitting me into the schedule. Dr. Vasserman thoroughly explained everything to me and took care of dental concerns, and offered his dental expertise. Great professionalism and dentist.

I highly highly recommend Doctor Vasserman and his office! I’m getting married next month and I wanted to see if I can fix one thing to make my smile look better for the big day, so I made an appointment with Corrie (who is so sweet and friendly) and she moved things around to fit me in within two days! Dr. Vasseeman took the time to explain the pros, cons, and risks of everything he can do so close to the date and was able to improve my smile greatly the same day after little more than an hour. He did a great and thorough job and I’m so happy with the results! I am recommending him to all my friends and family. Thank you!

It’s so important to have good dental care and with Dr. Vasserman I have the best. He is an excellent dentist. I and my daughter have been seeing Dr. Vasserman for several years and have never been concerned with our preventive care or any possibility of an emergency. The doctor and his staff are always there for us. There are many examples of Dr. Vasserman’s excellence, honesty and care, one being his diagnosis and treatment of my TMJ. After years of discomfort, Dr. Vasserman was the dentist who correctly diagnosed my situation and found the proper answer for my treatment. I am amazed by how good my teeth and entire mouth feel. I recommend Dr. Vasserman with no reservation. He is the best. Corrie at the front desk, Hygienist Anna and the entire staff are all deserving of a 5 Star rating, as is the tasteful and relaxing office on Lexington Avenue.

I originally went to Dr. Vasserman for Invisalign (later changed him to my primary dentist, as well). Dr. Vasserman has created a super comfortable environment where everyone feels like friends. From day 1, he made me like a priority and has made sure that my teeth are PERFECT. It’s a nice change to have a dentist that is so invested in something that you’ve invested a lot of time and money in. He really cares. Also, the office is super nice and you get to DJ your own appointments which I happen to love 🙂 Excellent – highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Dr. Vasserman’s office for about 4 years now, and I don’t plan on using any other dentist. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable both physically and psychologically (since getting work done can give me a bit of anxiety). Corrie at reception always makes me feel confident and relaxed about booking appointments and figuring out my insurance. Everything is always completely transparent and I know what to expect before and after every visit. Dr. Vasserman’s work as a DMD is excellent. He is extremely thorough, gentle, and informative about every procedure I’ve gotten done, including a full-blown extraction and implant procedure. I no longer feel anxious getting work done because I fully trust that the experience will not only be pleasant, but totally necessary (Dr. Vasserman doesn’t try to push you into getting work done unless it’s necessary). I refer friends to Dr. Vasserman every chance I get because I am beyond satisfied with every aspect of my experiences there.

I can smile again. I’ve been Dr Vasserman patient for a couple years now and it’s for a reason. He makes it’s easy and painless. First, let me talk about the office. It’s in a great location on the Upper East Side. It’s very welcoming and well designed. No tacky dentist posters everywhere. There are TVs in the room to help you relax and any type of music you’d like to hear is available. They are extremely sanitary there as well. Secondly, his staff! Everyone that’s on his staff is friendly and wonderful. I especially have the greatest admiration for Corrie. She is what you hope all customer service people would be like. Helpful. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Accurate. I love her. And of course, Dr. Vasserman. He takes the time to make your smile look like your own smile. He works with modern and up to date equipment. I especially love that he isn’t looking at the clock and rushing the process. He really wants to get it right. I felt very at ease when he was replacing my crowns. At one point during the drilling process, I fell asleep and then again during another procedure. That’s how at comfy I was in the dentist chair. I am extremely happy with the work Dr. Vasserman did on my smile. I feel very comfortable and confident with my new crowns. Previously I was self conscious about smiling and now I feel like I can with pride. I feel prettier. I highly recommend Dr. Vasserman to anyone who wants to upgrade their smile. It’s really life changing.

I am so grateful that I discovered Dr. Vasserman and his wonderful team when I first moved to NYC 2 years ago. I have been seeing him ever since and I cannot say enough good things about this practice. It’s actually made me enjoy my trips to the dentist (which is a sentence I never expected to say). I have a tendency to get anxious about dental visits, particularly when anesthesia is needed, but Dr. Vasserman’s team are so careful and gentle that I feel very safe with them, and they check in throughout the process to make sure you’re ok. And the care and friendliness are consistent – I’ve been to see them several times now and it’s always a great experience. (In fact, I just had 2 fillings done today and I am amazed, as always, at how painless – no pun intended – and precise the whole procedure was.) At my first check up, Dr. Vasserman took extra time to go over everything with me in great detail (I ask a lot of questions!). He took digital photos of my teeth in addition to my x-rays, so that he could show me exactly what he was seeing and explain all his recommendations in depth. I highly value his clear commitment to serving his patients with care and transparency. I never feel rushed by him or his team (as I have on occasion in other places), either during an appointment or when making a decision about a future procedure, and the overall approach to their work is gentle but precise. Each individual staff member is friendly, kind and patient, taking as much time as needed to make sure that they get the job done well. They really make the effort to get to know you. And little personal touches, like getting to choose what music to listen to while I’m having a cleaning, make it a very pleasant and easy experience even if, like me, going to the dentist isn’t typically one of your favorite things to do. Corrie (on the front desk) is a dream to work with, she has very kindly helped me figure out my insurance paperwork as I changed plans twice since my first visit. She is always extremely friendly and wonderfully helpful, and really goes above and beyond with appointment reminders and other communication to make sure that you have all the information you need, as well as always exuding great personal warmth. I specifically chose my current dental plan so that I could continue to see Dr. Vasserman, when I changed my insurance recently. I can’t recommend him and his practice enough and the last time I was there, it was such a great experience that I made a post on Facebook telling everyone that they should see him for their next dental visit. Needless to say my friends thought I was crazy but I stand by that sentiment. If you need a new dentist (and if you live in NYC and Dr Vasserman isn’t your dentist, you need a new dentist)…you won’t find anyone better.

Dr. Vasserman has been my only Dentist I’ve ever needed in the city. From the first appointment, I knew that I had found someone who cared about me as a patient. After a very thorough exam and cleaning, we sat down and made a plan to get my teeth to a good place. He is very knowledgeable, and in 3 cavity fillings, I never felt any pain.  What more could you ask for from a dentist? I would definitely recommend him to anyone who asks.

Congratulations, you just found the best dentist in the City. I’m an actor so I need my smile to look incredible. Dr. Vasserman and his incredible team make sure my teeth are healthy and look great. He’s a perfectionist with the knowledge and experience to back that up. Corrie and Lesly are amazing. Corrie is so diligent, helpful, and explains everything so clearly. Lesly is right alongside Dr. Vasserman and she makes the process of sitting in the dentist chair calming and efficient. Dr. Vasserman also has the best use of technology I have ever seen. He is ahead of his time by implementing the latest and cutting edge technology. With Dr. Vasserman, I no longer fear going to the Dentist. He loves what he does and that’s because he is the best at what he does. He is smart, compassionate, and very generous. I will recommend him over and over.

It was my first time visiting Dr Vasserman’s office yesterday, and from the moment I walked in until the moment I left I had an incredible experience.  The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, caring, professional and they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.  If you’re looking for a dentist who is thorough and who you can trust then Dr Vasserman is your guy!  I truly believe that I am in excellent hands under his care & I am so thankful to have found him!

Wow! Dr Vasserman is a ‘one off’.  I have always dreaded going to the dentist and now that I found Dr Vasserman, I have no hesitation.  I have been to a lot of dentists over the years..kept changing as I hated the demeanor, but Dr Vasserman passes no judgement, is a top notch professional, aims to find the best and most economical solution to major dental issues, and genuinely cares about his patients.  He is amazing.  Of course, when his staff is as genuine and caring as he is – especially Corrie – his practice manager, you just know you are in good hands.  I have never ever recommended a dentist – but I HIGHLY recommend Dr Vasserman.  Do not hesitate..you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Alex is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to! I appreciated the way he explained exactly what was going on with my teeth and my many options on how to fix and maintain them. Alex even drew me pictures to help me visualize and understand better! He is super smart, thorough and a genuinely nice guy. Lets not forget about his dental assistant, Kim, she was great too! You also get to stare at his beautiful tulip garden out back while he cleans your teeth 🙂 I will definitely be a patient of his for many years to come!

Dr. Vasserman is extremely professional, great at what he does, and just an overall great guy. Always makes his patients feel welcomed and comfortable and his work is fantastic! He’s a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. I’m so happy to have found him! His receptionist Corrie is out of this world, too! She’s so helpful and attentive, even took time to review my dental insurance coverage when I got a new insurance provider and educated me on the plan. The two of them are just outstanding. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Dr. Vasserman’s dental team has always made meeting my teeth needs easy and stress-free for years! In my most recent visits, Dr. Vasserman suggested I get my very old fillings replaced in two of my molars, which always gave me trouble. In the span of two weeks he filled in one, and for the other tooth gave me a beautiful, perfectly fitting porcelain outlay that makes my tooth look untouched. I have also had routine cleanings done by the wonderful hygienist Anna, who always has a warm smile on her face and makes sure I am comfortable. And of course, there is Corrie who runs front-of-house—her energy, humor, and brightness make for top tier service that creates a feeling of care for all people in the office. Not to mention she goes out of her way to make sure the financial part of your appointments are clear and affordable. The office itself is clean, bright, and modern, and conveniently right next to the 6 train. Anyone who needs ease and high quality dentistry done should go to Dr. Vasserman!
