A zillion stars: At Aliso Viejo Dental they are exceptionally good at explaining procedures and billing; They all wield a needle with next to no pain (not actually sure how this is possible); They are super friendly, personable and remind you about your appointments via text/email/phone/writing it down for you, whatever works. Dr. Preda has built an amazing team. I live 45 minutes away… it’s a dental office worth driving for!

I recently had a lot of dental work down ( 3 new crowns and new night-guard) and Dr. Preda and her staff (Carla and Kim) were great and super supportive thru the whole process ! They took the time to explain each procedure, impact, and what to expect in between getting the temporary crowns and final delivery! Receptionist was super helpful in explaining my coverage and out of pocket expenses as well.
I’ve been a patient for many years now and love this office – I highly recommend Dr. Preda! She’s kind, funny, and very thorough !

So, I’ve been here before but I’ve gotten minor work done (cleanings n stuff) today is the first time I got major work. Sooo… I was helped by amazing dental assistants. Very assisting. Much dental! They let me clip my phone onto the light so I can watch on my phone unobstructed. That was awesome. Because of me watching my shows I wasn’t really able to interact with everyone. (Not that I could). Dr. Preda is a sweetheart. So nice and very informative. My temporary made by Karla fit like a glove. It feels natural. And the front desk was very welcoming. Overall they tried to accommodate me as best they could. Offering every amenity at their disposal. A tablet so my phone doesn’t die, headphones, water, coffee… even a pillow! It was a great experience, I shall return for the rest of my work.

I’ve been coming here for over 2 years and am very happy. Everyone hates going to the dentist but they make sure your comfortable to minimize any discomfort.
They also do their best to accommodate your schedule. I had to reschedule my appointment today and luckily they had an early cancellation that I could take. Very grateful for their flexibility.

I have been going to this dentist for a year now. From making my initial appointment to the finishing of my recent root canal, this office has been extremely accommodating. The receptionist, hygienists, assistants, and dentist are all friendly. I am also appreciative of the office’s efforts in explaining procedures. Before coming to this office, I had not been to a dentist for 7 years. Within a year, this flexible group of people have brought my oral health to a refreshing state again. My wife had a pretty bad experience with another dentist geographically very near this office. She had to have 2 wisdom teeth removed with root canal. She used the other dentist and it costed so much that we seriously considered switching a dentist for second tooth. This dentist and Dr. Preda was recommended by a friend. We took a shot (this is our 3rd dentist we tried in OC) and went there to talk and have them appraise it and explain. They did good job with explaining and price and quality were very reasonable. We are very happy with them so far and would recommend to anyone!

It had been years (we are talking almost 20) since I’ve needed restorations, but I needed them! Plus I had one amalgam (silver) filling left from the good old days that needed removal, plus an old crown. Dr. Preda and her team take the extra steps to ensure you have not just a quality dental experience, but a safer one. I was impressed that I received chlorella tablets before and after removal of the silver filling, to help ensure the removal of metals from my body. Recently, I had the crown replaced and even though I was a bit of a difficult case because of inflamed gums, Dr. Preda and her assistant, Kim (great assistant) got me through it and I have the most beautiful, comfortable crown. So happy! After treatment, they gave me vitamin E for my gums and a special paste to help desensitize the gums – I love that they use natural approaches. Plus, the office is fun and everyone has a great attitude. Very happy!

I was referred to Aliso Viejo Dental by a friend. I’ve been looking for a place that offers teeth whitening. I was very impressed with this office for many reasons. They use technology in a very efficient manner so that all the paperwork is done electronically beforehand. I just walked in at my appt time, they walked me to my chair and started on my teeth right away. Dr. Preda and staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I am so pleased with the results, that I cant stop showing off my super white teeth to all my friends and family. Of course I would refer anyone to this dental office for thier denral needs. Dr. Preda is environmentally conscious and truly cares about the well being of her patients. I am super sensitive to metals and she took every precaution to make sure all toxic dental materials were safely removed and replaced with biologically compatible materials. I highly recommend this dental office! Dr. Preda and staff run a very modern dentistry practice with the best tools of the trade! They used SMART technology to remove my amalgam filling without subjecting me to mercury. They used a Biolase all-tissue laser to remove decay on one of my teeth for a restoration, without the need for any anesthesia! The hygienists have been friendly and also use a Biolase diode laser along the gum-line to kill improve tissue health. I’ve really noticed a difference in my gum health since I’ve been going to them.

I spent a good deal of time researching local dentists as we had received poor care from a previous one and wanted to make sure the next would be our dentist for life…or at least for as long as we live in southern California. Well, we have found that in Dr. Preda :]

I have been a patient of Dr Preda since 2011 and have always been treated like family.
Dr Preda is extremely knowledgeable. Last year, I thought I had an issue with my gums, so I went to a Periodontist. I spent 3 months in pain, and the “periodontist” did not cure the problem.
I went to Dr Preda and she quickly diagnosed the issue I had been having- it was a fractured root!
Wish I had gone to her originally for the problem. I could have saved myself a lot of money, pain and time!
Thank you, Dr Preda and your wonderful and attentive staff for helping me and giving me the best service and care. The office is always up to date on the latest techniques in dentistry, and I know I am getting too notch care.

Your Dentist has to be someone you can trust. I have had such a great experince here. From the friendly staff and assistants (Stephanie and Bri) to the great work Dr. Preda has done; everything they do is quality and done with care. After a loooong hiatus from visiting the dentist (8 years) I had finally came in first due to a tooth ache, which ended up being a root canal. She fixed me right up. Since that day i have overcome my fear of the dentist and have continued getting dental done by Dr. Preda. MY TEETH FEEL GREAT! and not once did i feel taken advantage of or overcharged. The work she has done on my teeth is excellent.
Ruxandra Preda, D.D.S. has been practicing general dentistry for more than 10 years in Orange County. She is passionate about dentistry and believes in treating patients with empathy and compassion while offering the best dental care for her Patients. In 2006 she received her California Dental License from the University of Southern California, but she earned her Dental Degree in 1993. Since then, Dr. Preda has continued to participate in seminars and continuing education programs and is highly trained in Laser technology, root canals, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Preda is also experienced and licensed in Oral Conscious Sedation. By attending continuing education courses she is able to deliver the highest standard of care by providing a complete range of dental services to her patients using the latest technologies available.
