Usually Don’t Write Reviews Unless I Have Reason To & Have Something to Say. In October 2015, a 14 Year Old, 3 Tooth Bridge, Disengaged Itself and Needed to Be Re-Cemented. I Hadn’t Been to My Regular Dentist for 4-5 Years and was Aghast to Read, On Yelp, That They Had Very, Very Negative Reviews: Mostly 1*. (Won’t Mention the Name, but They’re on 57th & 6th.) Decided that a Change was In Order and Searched for an Acceptable Dentist that was Close to Home. The Best In the Neighborhood, according to Yelp, was All Advanced Dentistry, a Street Level Practice (Easy In & Out), Diagonally Across from Key Food on 92nd & 2nd (My Food Store). Before Commenting Further, Let Me Establish My Credentials: I am No Stranger to Dental Crowns & Bridges (with the Concomitant Root Canals), as Most of My Mouth is Covered by Such. I have been to Many Dentists, Throughout the Years, and Have Outlived Most Of Them, So I Know what to Expect. As with a Fine Restaurant, an MD & Dentist’s Office, Should be Graded, Not Only for Quality of Work, but for Atmosphere as Well. So Here Goes the Review. My Easy Re-Cement Job, Quickly Turned Into the Whole Megillah: X-Rays & Cleaning, Decayed Tooth, 3 Root Canals, New Bridge. The Workmanship was as Good as I’m Accustomed To, which is High, but the Ambiance Was the Best Ever. There was No Over Booking, so a 3 PM Appointment was a 3 PM Sit Down. (I Had 7 Such Appointments in Total.) There is a Wide Screen TV to View, with Your Choice of Channel, while the Work is being Performed. The Equipment is Modern Looking (e.g. Digital X-Ray) and Kept Very Clean. The Staff Was Friendly & Cordial and Willing to Talk & Discuss. Not a Discount Dentist, but They Do Take Various Health Plans & Programs and Will Work with You, If Need Be. I Regard This Review, Not So Much as an Endorsement, but as a Community Payback. I Signed Up With All Advanced Dentistry, Primarily Because of Yelp Reviews, So I Feel That In Turn, I Should Contribute Back to the Forum. I do This Periodically with Amazon & Others as Well. I Know That Dentistry Can Be a Traumatic Experience for Many and It Still Is For Me: Not So Much in the Mouth, but In the Wallet. Hope This Helps.

Hands down they are the best . Originally from Texas , I moved to NYC over 2 years ago and my friend who is a patient of them highly recommended Dr.Ranjbar . I was treated for Invisalign and routine check ups and everything was great. Unfortunately recently I experienced a personal disaster and slipped on ice while walking home. I broke my front tooth and lacerated my lip and was in excruciating pain. Crying frantically and after leaving ER , Dr.Ranjbar fit me in right away . After thorough examination she informed me that due to deep fracture the tooth could not be saved , she informed me that doing root canal and caps would be waste of money even though I insisted that I wanted to try that option regardless of the cost to make sure they don’t take my tooth out. She told me that it would be a waste of my money and that she did not think doing a root canal and crown on a hopeless tooth and charging me that much would be fair and that she would not do that . I was upset. My dad who is a physician arranged for me to fly home right away and see our family dentist of many years. He performed a root canal therapy and put a cap on my front tooth , he also charged my dad almost $3000 ( root canal &cap). I was content but still in pain but had to fly back to NYC for my classes . For a whole week after I was still in pain and woke up on Monday morning like a boxing champ with a huge swelling right above my tooth and extreme pain .swelling seemed to get bigger as time passed. I called my dad who contacted our family dentist who then admitted that all that needed to be done was done already and that after spending 3 grand , the tooth has to come out . After so much pain and devastation , I then realized I should have originally listened to Dr.Ranjbar . She had my best interest in mind and was not seeing me like a dollar sign and treated me and advised me towards my best option without considering financial benefits . Though I was devastated to finally have my front tooth taken out , but I am grateful to know that I have a fantastic and honest dentist who has the patient’s best interest in mind. Dr.Ranjbar is a lovely, awesome and kind lady as well . Thank you DR.

After reading my first review, which was negative not because of the service (it was excellent), but because of the high price, Dr. Maryam Ranjbar contacted me personally to reimburse me for a very significant portion of what I paid. This is highly unusual and I give Dr. Ranjbar five stars for being so attentive and kind. Thank you Dr. Ranjbar. Because of this, I recommend  Dr. Ranjbar.

Being a physician myself I know a good health care provider office when I see one . I moved to NYC two years ago and was looking for a local dentist . My colleague who is also quite picky recommended all advanced dentistry . Making an appointment over the phone was the best first impression . Once in for the first visit, I noticed they have numerous recognition and awards in the waiting area for many consecutive years which was very impressive ( best of manhattan awards and their doctor as America’s best dentist list ) . These awards don’t come around easy. Next thing I noticed was that the office was immaculate and spotless and their staff very courteous . The visit and the doctors were very thorough and every single step was fully explained . Subsequent visits went as well with some fillings and bleaching . Took my 14 year old for some fillings , no pain or discomfort afterwards . My husband recently had an emergency and needed a root canal and crown and loved how smooth and painless everything went ( he is not an overall easy patient ). Have been a patient for two years and sill loving my dentist . Definitely recommend them

I’ve been seeing Dr. Maryam and Dr Paul Ranjbar for 10 years now. One word: EXCEPTIONAL. Every procedure is handled with the utmost care and detail. I’ve never had dentists like this. When I moved from the neighborhood I commuted 1.5 hours each way to see these dentists. When you find dentists like this, you keep them. Note: I have had cleanings, fillings, bleachings, and sadly, two root canals. HANDLED to perfection. I would give 6 stars if I could. Wonderful people. Modern equipment, facilities, and processes with super fair billing.

Each time I have an appointment here I am greeted with a smile and never have to wait to be seen. Everyone at this office is extremely nice and professional – I have complete trust that they have my best interests in mind. The office space is always clean and they are up to date with all modern tech, sending emails and text messages to remind you of future appointments! Highly recommend this office!

This is an outstanding dental practice. I have been a patient for 3 years and have recommended several family members and friends who have found the group to be equally excellent. They provide timely, kind, and professional service. They take care to explain all the options (for example get dental x rays now, in 1 year, or not at all), and even worked to squeeze me in between patients when I had a problem that required an appointment. I don’t have dental insurance, and I have found heir rates to be quite reasonable. I cannot recommend this group strongly enough.

I had a horrible first experience at this dentist office with a dentist who is no longer there. So awful that the owner both called me personally to apologize and sent a card, so I decided to return. I had a wonderful experience the second time around, and I had pretty major dental work done. The owner and dentist were attentive and professional. So glad I gave them a second chance!

Hardly any wait time if you scheduled your appointment and the waiting area is itself quite comfortable. The cleaning was thorough and not as painful as I expected it to be, considering I had slacked off for a few years with my dental health. The doc who treated me was very nice and pleasant, made me feel comfortable about the procedure.

So glad I started coming here. I was an idiot that did not go to the dentist for about 15 years, no joke. My wife made me start going here. They are always incredibly friendly and outgoing. The office is very clean and the procedure rooms and conformable. You can imagine after 15 years the amount of work I need so I am here all the time and they have been great every single time. My wife likes that my breath doesn’t smell anymore either. So that’s always good. If you are on the Upper east make it easy and just come here!
