Great dental service, great location (off highway), and great staff. This guy named Maddie was extremely helpful by being very accomadating to my schedule and fitting me in at the exact time I wanted when it had previously been booked. I called on a monday looking for an appt. ASAP, I spoke to a girl who told me they didnt have anything available till Friday, so I said id check my schedule and call back, wasnt going to call back. I booked an appt at another dentist when i receive a call from Maddie asking if it was alright if he checked to see if their was anything he could do and then call me back, I accepted as a courtesy because I already had my other appt. Tuesday as im getting ready for my 10am appt, maddie calls me and says they can see me at 10 that very morning and since the other dentist who i booked through zocdoc never answered when i called them twice, I was more than ecstatic to take maddie up on his offer and drive five minutes to a great dental office. Regarding the service, its excellent, they didnt try to push anything on me, if anything, I found out that i in fact did not need fillings like my previous dentist had told me… Off my experience there, i would recommend Aloha Dental to anyone!

I had a tooth extraction and the ominous experience was fully explained to me and procedure went smooth, fast and brought considerable relief. Dr.Rho did an excellent job throughout the procedure and her skill and good humor was greatly appreciated and a potentially harrowing experience was over quickly with virtually no discomfort. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the waiting room is charmingly decorated. I highly recommend Aloha Dental.

They were very accommodating because i needed to make an emergency appointment for my son. they already had all of his insurance information through zocdoc, which made the checkin seamless, even though it was his first appointment. the doctor was really straightforward with everything that needed to be done. he didn’t talk to me like i was dumb, either. which is nice since i have had experiences like that with previous dentists

I’m still going here. Always and forever. All of them know me by name, which makes me feel super happy, like I’m part of some dental family. They’ve worked with my insurance (when I had it) and even though I don’t have insurance, still I go…alas, they’re my favorite. I’m not scared to go to the dentist anymore…well not THAT scared

I’ve been a patient for over a year now and have finally decided to write a review after my pleasant visit yesterday! Went in for a deep cleaning and the hygienist was so sweet enough to offer me a huge, soft blanket as I waited for them to take pictures (in addition to watching Netflix). I felt at home as they did my treatment and of course the dentist was also so sweet! I cannot say enough things about this place other than make this where you get your teeth checked!!!

In all honesty it’s been years since I have been to a dentist, so I knew going in the diagnosis wouldn’t be good. Although the embarrassment kept me away from seeing a dentist, I would have to say Dr. Rho and her staff made me feel at ease and comfortable while going over my dental health/plan. I was also surprised to find out that my insurance is covering a good amount of the work I need done. I will absolutely be revisiting this office for all my dental work.

One word: THOROUGH! Both the hygienist and dentist caught serious issues previously missed by other dentists. I came in for what I thought would be just a routine cleaning. The hygienist clearly absolutely knew her stuff. The dentist who I saw, Dr. Rho, confirmed what the hygienist found. I walked out with a referral to a periodontist and several prescriptions along with new knowledge about my oral health and caring for it. I’ve been through chemotherapy which wreaked havoc with my mouth. I didn’t realize to what extent and thought all of that had been previously attended to. However, I learned today that it continues to affect my oral health. I am grateful for my visit to Aloha Dental today!!

Highly recommend! I came to them two years ago with warnings that my gums were in dire state. They gave me an intense therapeutic wash and have worked with me every 3 months since then to get my teeth in perfect shape. All the while, phenomenal customer service. I called them at 11:30 telling them I had a broken wisdom tooth and I was home by 2pm. So I had a dental emergency and they got me in within 2 hours of me calling. Not only that I was in the chair getting X rays at the time of my appointment, on a Friday no less when every other dentist in Austin is closed. I was treated and on my way in less than an hour. They are what its about. I like the service so well I switched my dental needs to Aloha. I am a HAAM patient and they do everything possible to get my dental needs taken care of. I can’t say enough good things about these guys. if you need dental service this is the place. They ROCK!!!!!

The dentists here are the opposite of every dentist I’ve been to. I hate going to the dentist because they are typically rude and lecture me as if I’m their kid. If I’ve got cavities I know why they are there, I don’t need to listen to you yammer on about flossing while you slice my gums open with your scraper. The dentists here are down to earth, tell it like it is, and don’t harass you. They made me regret waiting so long to return to the dentist by being awesome.

I had to update now that I’ve gotten my cavity filled. First and foremost – I got my filling done with a little bit of nitrous and no shots to numb the area, and it was one of the most pleasant, pain-free dental experiences I’ve ever had! Bonus points for the music selection. It really sounded like they were playing stuff from my ipod which made me all the more comfortable during my visit. More bonus points for having me in and out in ~30 minutes (on my lunch break!!!). I’m *almost* sad that I didn’t have to spend any time in the waiting room and get to watch some AppleTV. Thanks for making a typically dreadful experience rather enjoyable, Aloha Dental!

Being the type to not go to dentists because of my overwhelming fear of drills and scrapings it was a relief to find a dental office that catered to my fears. Whit and his crew are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. From the most gentle teeth cleaning to the massaging chairs my experience was nothing short of wonderful. I plan on coming back to get some of my fillings looked at in a couple months and i know i can truly trust my teeth to Aloha dental. If anyone is on the fence about going to see Aloha i would strongly suggest you do yourself the favor, save yourself the time and set an appointment with them. Thanks again Aloha!!!

I love Aloha dental and that’s saying a lot for me. I have fairly extreme dental anxiety but everyone at Aloha is always very understanding and empathetic. I recently got reassigned to Dr. Rho after the other dentist I usually saw went to another practice and she is the best dentist I have ever had! She is so caring and compassionate and took time to listen to all my anxieties. She made sure to do everything in her power to allay my fears and make the visit as stress free as is possible for me. I still have anxiety about dental procedures, but knowing I have Dr. Rho to help me through it makes all the difference!

These guys are great. I was recommended to see them by a coworker who knew about my history of bad experiences with dental stuff, but these guys were awesome. I think the only thing that was weird was the dental assistants who would carry on conversations with me while I’m in the chair, and I’m sitting there with their hands in my mouth and can’t..you know….respond. Either way, I go to these guys even though the location I like is clear across town from me. Highly recommended

I recently went and had my teeth whitened at Aloha Dental. I chose the Boost Whitening System. The staff was very nice and attentive. The process takes about an hour. They do two treatments for about 20 minutes each. The results were great and it lifted me about two shades. It was painless during but after I had a sharp zing feeling in my teeth for the day which made me go home from work take tylenol and sleep it off. The pain was gone the next day. I was told this was normal for some patients to have this. I suggest taking tylenol before as it was hard to drive home with the ache but besides that I will def be back. The front desk also helped me decide which toothpaste will be best to support the whitening and answered all my questions about when I can reuse my invisalign. I have recommended all my friends!

The waiting room boasts a tabletop arcade game for kids, complete with children-sized chairs, and you can bet your ass that it’s where I sit when I’m there, and yes, I do play the games. It’s next to the outlet, so it’s perfect for iPhone charging. What can I say? The staff are nice, and I survived my first “deep cleaning” with help from their generously juiced laughing gas and a powerful massage chair. They do offer free bleaching trays with cleaning, so now it won’t just be my skin that’s blinding people. All in all a good experience, and my other friends that go there say the same.

I love Aloha dental!!! I have 3 kids, and I never have to wait long at all. The staff here is always very friendly and always find a way to make my kids feel comfortable. They LOVE David!!! My husband has had terrible experiences in the past with dentists. Normally it would take two appointments just for him to get his teeth cleaned. They gave him some headphones and a numbing mouth wash and were able to clean his teeth in one appointment! Love this place and I would definitely recommended it!!

Literally BEST dentist experience I’ve ever had- and I’ve spent my whole life scared of the dentist. Just went in today for a simple teeth cleaning and the staff was extremely friendly, the technician was very mindful of my comfort level, and best of all they didn’t shame me and make me feel bad for not coming to a dentist for so many years! It’s one thing I typically dread, but I appreciate that they were transparent about the work I needed done but without making me feel bad about it at all. Felt so good that I made an appointment to come back two days later and get my cavities filled. Just completed that and can still vouch that this was a great place to get it done! Pain was minimal and again, dentist was very attentive to any uncomfortableness (and there was barely any). Honestly it was nice once I was numb to just sit back and watch some tv with a blanket- actually a relaxing cavity filling experience? I’m just BLOWN AWAY and wanna to tell everybody that THIS should be the gold standard for all dentist

Staff is great and the place is nice. They use modern dentistry technology and digital imaging. I go very often for my cleaning and they are always helping in helping me understand if it’s a visit covered by insurance or if I am coming in between and need to pay out of pocket. Growing up, I’ve always had bad experiences with dentists, so you can imagine the level of anxiety I was in upon arriving to my appointment. But as soon as I walked through those doors, the front desk staff was very courteous and sweet and offered to accommodate to anything I need since I told her I was really nervous. The ambiance is relaxing, played great music (it was quite difficult to keep myself from singing while they were checking out my mouth) and every single person going into the room to discuss things with me were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Once I checked out, the front desk lady went over my dental insurance benefits with me to further my understanding of what coverage I have (since insurance companies do a terrible job at providing coverage information in lamen’s terms). For the first time in my life I had a positive dentist experience and it definitely made up for all the bad ones before. I highly recommend this place!

Being from Hawaii there’s a vibe we like to give off to others and Aloha Dental workers are AWESOME I just took my 3 girls there the other day and I’ve never felt so much warmth and friendliness from a place of business that Aloha Dental we were in and out in no time!
