I was looking for a dentist in Brookline and came across this dental office. The receptionist was very friendly and advised me to look into their dental plans options and save some money. Since I didn’t have a dental insurance. That was actually nice of her as I could save some money on the treatments as well as got dental cleanings and Laser Bacterial Reduction (kinda a cool procedure which destroys the bacteria that cause inflammation and periodontal disease). I had my cleanings done by a dental hygienist and then I saw Dr Kovtun. A very pleasant young gentlemen. He walked me through the treatment plan. So far – so good!

I know there’s alot of fake reviews on here as we know ! But this is not one of them , they were amazing ! And I mean amazing , first of all they took me in on a Saturday last minute on an emergency and they were the nicest dental people from the from the front desk to the assistant’s and not to mention how kind and amazing the dentist was, he was soooo gentle and it was the first great experience I’ve ever had, not to mention I’m scared to death of the dentist , but now I dont have to be I absolutely recommend Alpha Plus Dental ! Cool Place and easy to get to! New patient and liked the serviced I received here. It’s too bad that going to a dentist is not the same as going to a massage parlor. But it’s not the dentist fault. God knows they tried everything to make me comfortable and the procedure as pain free as possible. I had a cleaning and two cavities fixed here and when compared to other places in the area, they are defiantly an A+ place, that is friendly, clean and do not waste your time.

The quality of this dental office is bar none, highly recommend! A very modern/clean space. Dr. Kovtun makes you feel taken care of, he is extremely knowledgeable and gentle, really helpful explaining the why/how of the care he provides. He and his staff explain each process as they navigate through it and make me feel comfortable every step of the way. Lost a crown, and was a little anxious over the process of installing a new one – didn’t want to leave the sensitive tooth exposed for too long… a single day would be too long! A friend dialed Alpha at once – an appointment was available in 40 minutes! Dr Kovtun took care of the rest, and all my worries were promptly assuaged. I think the permanent crown soon will be the happy end to the story – Dr Kovtun also adjusted the base to improve the retention.

Just had my first cleaning at Alpha, and it was a great experience. the staff is friendly and professional, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and everything was done properly. Once I enter the lobby, front desk customer service (Annie, Lina, Natasha and a young high school girl) to the dental care room has been worth noticing. I am sharing my experiences for my dental care done by world class dentist (Dr. Kovtun) along with magnanimous dental care staff (Ellie and Lorien?) for various general dental care services (such as filling, bridge and regular cleaning, gum health). Since last several years, never disappointed and best part was my on time appointments and job done on Saturdays early mornings, so I can enjoy my weekend time fullest with family. I’d give the folks at Alpha Plus Dental 6 stars if I could. They’re absolutely phenomenal. Not only is he a master at dentistry but he offers a healthier holistic approach to oral health that is so important to me. I have suffered with gum issues for a long time. Went through number of deep cleanings and even laser surgery at different dental offices over past number of years. No visible results were seen. At the end of 2017 I had laser assisted periodontal therapy for deep pocket with Natalia and amazingly I finally seen positive results. From deep pockets of 6, 7 or even 8 mm, 3 months after the procedure the pockets lessened to 3 mm, my gums are healthy now, no bleeding. Post operational period with minimal discomfort. Special thanks to Natalia who made me believe that improvements are possible ( I was really reluctant to any procedures after many years of “try and fail” attempts). She is a high level professional, very knowledgeable and very accommodating during actual procedure. She is also having very “good hands”, no any pain during the procedure. If you have gums issues, it’s definitely worth to try ask for Natalia!!!!

I get my teeth cleaned here every 6 months; surprisingly it’s done by a dentist and not a hygienist. I have also gotten fillings done here on a couple of teeth. I had a sensitive tooth and got a fluoride treatment once. All top notch work! Friendly & chatty dentists and front office staff. Most importantly, I got my wisdom teeth extractions done here. No swelling, almost no pain – quick & easy. And a tooth was impacted! I have good insurance so my out of pocket is very low, hence I cannot comment on the cost. I highly recommend this office. It’s in a nice clean safe neighborhood. Stop by at Trader Joes on your way home.

I did not feel rushed, and he provided me with options and referrals. I initially came in to consult with a specialist on Dr. Kovtun’s team. While I still might use that specialist, Dr. Kovtun presented me with some less invasive alternatives to try first. I would highly recommend this practice based on my first visit.
