Have been going to Alton Implant Center for over two years now and I have been extremely satisfied with the great work of Dr. Uppal! A couple of years ago I was unfortunately hit in the mouth with a batted baseball while I was coaching a youth travel ball team, that did some real damage to my teeth. It broke 3 of them and chipped another 3 of them. As I inquired to some local dentists office for a cost estimate they ranged from $30K to $43K! I by chance, stopped by Dr. Uppal’s office to see what he could do for me and he offered me a much better price and affordable options as I got each implant done. As of today, I’ve had 5 of the 6 implants done and I feel much better about talking with people now and smiling frequently, like I’m use too. I can only try to express the gratitude I have for Dr. Uppal! The procedures were easy, not painful at all, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff is great and very helpful and I didn’t have to miss any work! I will never use another dentist after meeting Dr. Uppal. He always makes me feel like I’m the most important patient he has. With Dr. Uppal, it’s not all about the money, like all those other dentist offices always made me feel like. Dr. Uppal genuinely just wants to help you resolve any issues you may be having with your teeth or smile in general! I’m a very loyal customer/client, when I find a good and dependable barber/mechanic/tailor/doctor or Dentist! Dr. Uppal has earned my trust and respect. He’s done a great job for me! So glad I met him! I frequently recommend Dr. Uppal to all my family and friends!

This dentist and his staff were outstanding. I came in on a moment’s notice with a loose crown. I went to this dental office for perio cleaning and a root canal. I was very nervous about root canal. Dr. Uppal took his time to explain the whole process. He made me feel very comfortable that i got courage to get my root canal done the same day. He was very fast in getting my root canal done. His assistant Nancy was very good. They joke around and make a very friendly atmosphere in the office. Their receptionist Debbie and Office manager Sapna were very helpful to work with my insurance. Dr. Uppal prescribed me pain medication but i did not even need to take any. Nancy called me by end of the day to check if i was doing fine. I am exceptionally satisfied with the results of the dental work I received from Alton Implant Center. Dr. Uppal is highly skilled, friendly, and supportive. The staff are all kind, knowledgeable, and eager to help. My original family dentist pushed for a dental bridge following the loss of my upper molar — despite my feeling that the surrounding teeth were in fairly good condition. I searched online for alternatives, and the Alton Implant Center was one of the best rated in my area. They agreed that an implant was the best option for me, and offered the service at a very reasonable price. Throughout the process, everyone was happy to answer my questions and outline each step clearly. I always felt I understood what to expect and appreciated the doctor’s attention to quality care. Though every procedure is different, my experience was very comfortable and I can’t recall any significant periods of pain or complications. I am very pleased with my replacement molar. Although I hope to never need ANOTHER implant, I will definitely use this clinic for my other dental needs in the future.

Best place for implants. In the past couple of years, I had been looking for a good place to get the implants I needed . I visited several places in a few cities in Orange county. Dr. Uppal is GREAT! He is not only a great doctor but also a great human being who cares and is also giving. I’ve had many, many dental procedures in my entire life and have dealt with so many dentists. But I will have to say that Dr. Uppal is probably the best dentist I’ve met. He is someone you can rely on and who willing to do everything to make you happy and he won’t give up. I had a dental implant procedure at his office and while the procedure itself went really well I had developed a condition called “dry socket”. It was quite painful. At that point, I rushed into his office without notice and freaking out due to the unbearable pain. He was able to relieve me of the pain right away and through it all, he was professional and caring. The Healing process was more than three months for the implant to set in place and heal properly. In the end of the treatment he gave me a beautiful final crown! Dr. Uppal is the kind of dentist who simply wants to help you bring back your smile. He doesn’t act like “I’m a doctor,” because he doesn’t need to. He is actually one doctor I want to come back to when I need a dental work.

I will start by admitting going to the dentist is a bit of a phobia for me, so when I first moved to the area I put off finding a new dentist until a friend referred me to Kelli’s Office. I felt at ease from the minute I walked into the door and now been a patient for over two years and I must admit I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I had real bad teeth and wanted to have Dental Implant and while consulting , i was discouraged as i was told that your jaw bone is not strong enough. I started going to AIC after a referral because I had dental anxiety. Dr. Uppal and staff are all very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Alton Implant Center is by far the best dentist office and experience that I have ever had. I went to them needing a lot of work done as I had put off getting things done due to fear and financial reasons. All of the staff here are extremely professional and caring. I had veneers places on my top front teeth and for the first time in years I’m not embarrassed to smile, I absolutely love the work they did and love the results. I unfortunately had to leave the area but I will be taking a trip back to have an implant completed. It’s really hard to find good quality care and compassion and they definitely meet every expectation. If you find going to the dentist a little scary, or maybe you’ve waited too long to go and you are scared of feeling judged, I highly recommend giving them a call and they will surly take great care of you. I wish that I could have found them a lot sooner but I feel blessed to have found them when I did and even though I moved it is completely worth a trip back because I’ve never had a great experience at a dentist until I found them.

Before I came to Alton Implant, I had two implants done at my previous dentist’s office by mobile implant team since my regular dentist does not do implant. Although the work done by the mobile implant team was very good, it was very hard to schedule as the mobile team comes to my regular dentist’s office only once a month…and I needed an additional implant work done. It was time to find an implant specialist who also does the regular dental work. I received several advertisement post cards from several dentists in Irvine area offering complimentary consultation. So I went to few dentists for consultation before I decided on Dr. Uppal at Alton Implant. I was taking a chance with Dr. Uppal because there was no reviews on Dr. Uppal and Alton Implant on yelp or anywhere else at that time. So, naturally, I was bit nervous on the day that I went in to begin the implant work. Now that my implant is nearly done, I feel that I made a right choice. Dr. Uppal makes you feel comfortable and explains everything about choices and alternative treatment methods. He gives good and honest advise for you whether it benefits him or not, a trait of trust worthy dentist! He is also a perfectionist. If there is anything wrong with his work, he tries to make it perfect. He is a dentist who prides on his work. As Dr. Uppal also does regular dental work, I find no reason to go anywhere else. His staff members, office manager, Sapna, Debbie at the front, and dental assistant Nancy are awesome. All very friendly, great care for the patients, flexible in scheduling, working with my insurance company, etc. Try Alton Implant and you will love it!

Because I’m moving from Irvine to Pittsburgh, Pa., Dr. Uppal will no longer be my dentist. In all honesty I was sad when I visited to cancel my upcoming appointment. I’ve been seeing him for many years and always felt that he was looking out for my best interests. He was masterful in providing an implant. I heard raving reviews on this facility and figured I would go in for a consult to get the vibe of the office. There is nothing worse than going to a dentist and feeling uneasy.
Absolutely NOT the case here. I went in for my consult and the receptionist was very welcoming. I met Dr. Uppal’s dental assistant who was gentle with my x-rays as I was in a lot of pain. After my exam, I met with Ysenia (financial adviser) who made miracles happen for me. I was about to lose a front tooth and my dental bill should have been outrageous. Not only was the doctor incredible with a great sense of humor, Ysenia worked her magic to get me all dental work required and then some within a budget I can meet.
I could not be more appreciative for these people. If you read this review, know this is 100% real. I just had 3 root canals performed on Friday and left one happy individual! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Uppal and his team!

Best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. Always been traumatized from past experiences from other dentists but some pain forced me to go. I went in not sure what to expect, I had dealt with some less than ideal dentists in the past. I needed a lot of work and knew it would take a multitude of visits to return my smile to its former glory. Dr. Uppal is the best. I went to him (as a result of reading Yelp reviews) after two dentists told me I needed to have my tooth pulled and an implant placed because the tooth was infected. Dr. Uppal analyzed the situation, (my tooth had been infection free for decades) and pinpointed the source of the infection – who knew that popcorn was the dentist’s nemesis? He suggested an aggressive course of action to get rid of the infection and to try to save the tooth. It turned out that there was a rational explanation for each one of my symptoms which did not all together mandate an expensive tooth removal and implant – as the other dentists had concluded. In short, if you want an honest, straightforward diagnosis and excellent treatment of your teeth problems, there is no one as qualified and good as Dr. Uppal. He is that rare breed of professional who puts your health above his bankbook. (In the past, I often felt that my dental work had a direct correlation to the fact that tuition was due for my dentist’s kids private school.) How many dentists do you know who specialize in one form of work and would still suggest that you pursue another? And his staff is well trained, pleasant and courteous. Although Dr. Uppal specializes in implants, he does do general dentistry. He is my dentist for good.

This is an update to a post I wrote. I was in need of several implants after getting hit in the mouth with a baseball. After seeing a couple of dentist for help I paid over $2500 and all I had to show for it was a crown on one tooth, not what was most urgent to me, some new teeth. The dentists I saw wanted between $16K and $20K for 4 implants total. That’s like buying a car and I have a family that can’t afford a massive hit like that to the budget. So after almost giving up, I happened into Alton Implant Center by chance and met Dr. Uppal who seemed genuinely interested in helping me and not just as cash cow! I liked Dr. Uppal, he made me feel very comfortable and made the cost very affordable for me to get started. It can take a few months from start to finish, depending on your teeth’s condition and the healing that needs to take place, but it’s a process to be completed in phases. Bottom line is now that the work is done, I could not be more pleased with the results! I’m so happy, I can’t stop smiling now! The process was easy at every phase, no excessive pain, no bleeding or swelling, or infections. I never missed any work due to the procedures and the staff as always, was very attentive to my needs during each visit, they’re great! I have 3 new implants and plan on getting a couple more since I was fortunate enough to get a cost that I was comfortable with paying. I’m so very grateful to Dr. Uppal and his staff for making me feel normal again when smiling. No more embarrassment or holding back a smile, those days are over! It’s ironic that just a few months ago I was feeling like I could never justify paying upwards of 20K for dentistry for myself when I had a family to support and college coming next for my two sons. It seemed hopeless. Now, I refer all of my friends and family to just come see Dr. Uppal and see what he can do for you, he’s fair, reasonably priced and does great work! What else do you want from a dentist? I am so happy with Dr. Uppal and his staff, that they have earned my dental business for the rest of my life. Look no further, Dr. Uppal should be your new dentist! I came here first on recommendation of my wife to get a teeth cleaning. The hygienist was extremely nice and professional and did a tremendous job! During the cleaning, it turned out that a piece of my molar was broken off and I needed a root canal. Dr. Uppal has been taking great care of me, first with performing the root canal, then with getting my tooth ready for impressions. My last appointment will have my cap fitted, so I’m looking forward to it. Dr. Uppal is not only a very nice and courteous person, he is also a great dentist! Having been scarred for life from my first dental appointments in my childhood, he was able to relieve almost all of my anxiety and provide me with the best service imaginable. I cracked a molar a few years ago and kept putting off getting my tooth fixed. In November, I started meeting with Alton Implant Center to have the cracked tooth removed, an implant added, and a number of old fillings replaced with porcelain. As you might imagine, that much work (including time for mouth to heal between tooth removal, implant anchoring, and then finally tooth capping) involves a number of visits. The AIC has worked with me to set all of my appointments at the end of the day to accommodate me starting a new job, I’ve never waited more than 3 minutes in the lobby, they worked with my insurance to keep the price somewhat less shocking (and to pay as I went, instead of paying everything up front), everyone has been friendly, and Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Uppal have been great, even as they have violated my mouth. It takes a lot of personality and patience for someone to hurt you every time you see them over a few months… and still like them as people. I would recommend Alton Implant Center.

My dental experience at AIC is unforgettably amazing. The dentists there take the time to work with me and explain to me everything they are doing. I find it fascinating to learn while getting my teeth worked on. The front desk receptionist is always on top of her game and gives me calls to remind me of my appointments. They really know how to take care of their patients. My work insurance covers me for dental care so I will be sticking with them! On a side note, I used to always be afraid and uncomfortable with smiling with my teeth. They spent time with me and fixed all of my imperfections, and now I am smiling in pictures for the first time in 10 years.
