For several reasons I recently left a dentist I had been going to for 20 years. I thought I’d try Park West Dentistry because I know the Seay family and trusted that Dr. Amanda Seay would be honest and competent. After my initial visit I discovered (via photos taken of my teeth which had never been done before) that there were many problems caused by the incompetence of my previous dentist. Dr. Seay and her team made me feel cared for and comfortable during a frustrating time of having to fix those problems. Their technology, expertise and “bedside manners” were what I needed. I’m thankful to be a new patient and member of the Park West Dentistry family.

This is as the most professional medical office I have experienced . I worked in the medical field for years and was impressed with this facility. Everyone was so professional. I am writing this review to help others to find a truly great dentist. The experience from Dr. Seay and her staff is incredible from the moment you walk in the door. She was recommended to me by a friend who sells dental equipment in the greater Charleston area. He recommended her as the best dentist in the Low Country. IMO he is absolutely right. To begin with: No pain- literally- you will not feel the shot or any pain during or after your visit- Dr. Seay and her staff are consumed with giving you quality care and with your comfort. A couple examples- they begin by offering a hot towel on the back of your neck and asking if you want to watch a movie while they treat you. They make you look forward to going to the dentist. Quality of work- I am in my late 50’s and have been to many dentists. I am more than pleased with the excellent quality of work, her meticulous care and professionalism, and appreciate how she and her staff explain what is being done and why. Dr. Seay goes over her plan of care and shows pictures to you of what she does before and after to help you understand and see the quality of work. The office is very clean and comfortable. As far as billing, they do bill you up front but are happy to do the paperwork for your insurance and then the insurance company reimburses you. Truly quality care. I couldn’t be happier.

Dr Seay is extremely knowledgeable and professional, as well as a warm person. She examined my teeth, took some photos herself and had me view them on a screen while I was sitting in the chair! I was welcomed with Big Bright Smiles from the receptionist Mallory, Randi the hygienist who was absolutely wonderful. Doctor Amanda Seay spent some time with me examining my mouth and she’s such a positive person. I had to move from Massachusetts to find a dental office as great is this one! The place is like a dental spa you have your choice of water tea a warm wrap for your neck. The setting of the office is absolutely beautiful. This was a very positive experience. I’ve had a ton of dental work in the past , and thankful to have found Dr Seay. I recently moved here from NY, left a highly competent dental group and this was my first visit and immediately impressed with the team . Her office is well organized , diligent and caring. My hygienist Mel was knowledgeable, so thorough yet gentle, and offered great tips for preventative care. Dr. Seay examined me and is thorough , charismatic, supportive and a good communicator. Updating my review to give Dr Julie Driscoll a shout out! She did some very complicated fillings for me today and she did such a great job. I had no discomfort and she was always checking to make sure I was comfortable. She has the best bedside manner and is fun. We made jokes and laughed, she went a long way to put me at ease. This is my second procedure and I can’t say enough good things about the quality of her work and just how much I enjoy her as a person. First class every step of the way! The front staff is very friendly, the facility looks and feels more like a spa and the dental care is outstanding. They are fast and efficient and get you in and out quickly. I even got to catch up on a tv show I have been anxious to see! I highly recommend Dr Seay and her practice.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Seay and her incredible dedicated staff for 4 years now. She is a professional who is a master of her craft and is meticulous in detail resulting in extreme proficiency. I had to go in today because of a cracked tooth. She and her staff gave up their lunch to take care of me. They took 3 impressions and made two temporary crowns to make sure it was done exactly right. She is painless and gives first class service. From the waiting room (which is immaculate) to the hot towel on the neck to relax you before a procedure, they have thought of everything to make you actually enjoy going to the dentist. She was recommended to me by a dental supplier who knows dentists in the 3 county area of the SC Low Country. Out of ALL dentists, he recommended Dr. Seay first. So glad I listened to his advice. Do yourself a favor and experience the art of dentistry as practiced by the master.

Top-notch. The office staff is genial and helpful and Dr. Seay is phenomenal. On a recent visit the dental work she performed was thoroughly done and immaculately executed in an incredibly efficient way, all the while using her wonderful bedside manner to put me at ease and not inflicting the slightest bit of discomfort, let alone pain. I’ve never encountered another dentist who even comes close in comparison! (On the front end there has been some difficulty with filing insurance and receiving reimbursement, but I have been assured it’s an extreme anomaly and the staff has been helpful in trying to resolve the issue.)

I’m going to run out of superlatives posting this review. I still haven’t met Dr. Seay herself, but you can tell a lot about a person, from the organization they’ve created. On that basis alone I can attest Dr. Seay is both a consummate professional and a first rate business leader. I was treated with such sterling care that you could easily conclude I was some celebrity patient (which is about as far from the truth as possible). From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the reception staff – especially Judy the office manager – I felt totally taken care of. The technician who assisted with my case, Tess, appeared to know more than most dentists I’ve dealt with in the past. The offices were state of the art and spotless. Finally, the actual dentist who took care of me, Dr. Judy Driscoll was absolutely the best dentist – by a huge margin – I’ve EVER dealt with. The preliminary research and preparation she did was unlike anything I’ve experienced before (and I suspect she had a whole team of professionals assisting her). She explained EVERYTHING to me before she made a move and I left convinced she had given me her absolute best. Overall the experience was excellent (is there A BIGGER word than excellent?). And I’m here to tell you that until now, I didn’t care for dentists much. It might be saying too much, but if you were forced to go to a team of dental professionals for a life saving procedure, this would be the team

Let me begin this review by saying that this place is much more than your average dentist office. They do billing a tad differently than other offices. They do take insurance but they’re not an “in network” provider. Feel free to call and they can discuss what that means. That being said, I have a very cavity-prone mouth. Whether it’s my ph, soft teeth, etc. I just used to get cavities all the time in my adult life. And other offices were more than happy to charge me an exorbant amount of money, fill each and every cavity, and send me on my way. And it would happen over and over and over. No matter how good my home hygiene was. I was referred to this office after a very unpleasant and expensive experience and another office that I won’t name, and fillings were falling out. When you come here you walk into an extremely upscale office. More like a spa. There are tiny mouthwash bottles, toothbrushes, high end soaps, and actual hand towels in the restroom. You have your choice of beverages while you wait. Beyond that, you get a warm towel ok your neck while they work. They have movies and headphones for extensive appointments. They were able to fix my botched work, but more than that they actually gave me an anti-cavity plan. Who knew I didn’t HAVE TO get cavities all the time. I have a specific toothpaste and rinse I use and I have been cavity free ever since coming here. They could have just not helped me with a preventative plan. It would have made them more money. And that’s why I make the drive to continue my care here. They dont always go the cheapest way. They do always go the best way.

I have been going to Dr. Seay for about 6 years now after being disappointed with several other dentists in the area. While she is an expert in cosmetic dentistry, which I have not needed, she and her staff also provide amazing routine dental care. I have the state dental plus plan, which covers most of the costs. Although I pay at each visit, her staff bills the insurance for me and the checks get sent to me automatically, which is convenient. From the moment you walk in the door, you will know that you are in a top-tier facility They use the latest technology and everyone has advanced training. As a healthcare professional myself, I have been incredibly impressed with Dr. Seay (and my hygienist’s) interest in providing individualized care and teaching me. They do a very nice job guiding me and allowing me to make informed decisions. The entire office is clean and modern. Even during recent renovations, there was not a speck of dust. The only con I can think of is that it can be a little pricier than some of the other dentists’ offices, but I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Personally, I want to keep my teeth looking and feeling good as long as possible, so the few extra $ (compared to providers who don’t charge more than what the insurance pays) are definitely worth it to enjoy and look forward to my appointments rather than dread them. Another great thing- if you are a current patient with an emergency, from what I understand she’ll come in after hours if possible.
