My family has been coming here for years. The hygienists have been great (especially with my son) and Dr. Ray is very nice and does not push a lot of expensive procedures that I noticed other dentists I’d used previously did. It is always easy to make or change an appointment.

I’ve used Ray Farzam for several years. He is an excellent dentist with a friendly personality. His staff are always attentive and polite. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Santa Monica area who is in any way dissatisfied with their current dentist.

Straight shooter.   I have a limited dental plan (Delta) and appreciate it when I have a direct discussion regarding my dental options and anticipated cost up front.   I am especially impressed when the dentist explains why a particular procedure is/isn’t immediately necessary and the short/long term consequences. Dr Ray Farzam is such a clinician.  As for the staff, they have consistently been friendly and accomodating. The building is currently (April 2019) undergoing a renovation so don’t get concerned/fooled by the outward appearance. The office is fully functional.

I have to agree with the kind evaluations. I am a physician and know well what is extraordinary. That’s why after my daughter went to Dr. “Ray”, the remainder of the family and extended family are now patients. Unfortunately those who tend to write extreme and angry comments, especialy with the anonomity of the internet, are sometimes working out other anger issues. It’s a shame. Dr. “Ray” is indeed a caring and very gifted dentist who often ends up fixing other dentists less than perfect work. He has also treated many celebs and royal family members but remains unpretentious, honest and warm. It is what it is. Dr. “Ray” should be proud of his practice, he is extraordinary (and human) and I wish his practice well, no doubt it will thrive. Problems? He is a great value too, if I were him I’d definitely raise my prices.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Farzam for nearly eight years and I highly recommend him. He’s done two of my implants and all my maintenance care. He’s always warm and friendly and he does great work! I’ve recommended other people to him who have also been very happy. He’s both a dentist and an oral surgeon which means if you need surgery you don’t have to go to a separate office.  I trust Dr. Farzam’s work and integrity.

Staff is very amiable and efficient; waiting time for me was minimal to be taken back. Cleaning/check up is done pretty quickly but also thoroughly. The X-ray they have is a little camera, so it’s easy to take photos of your teeth if an X-ray is necessary. Dr. Farzam seems like he knows what he’s doing, and the rest of the staff does, too! No pain at all during the cleaning, as they try to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible! Everyone in my family goes here and we are very happy with Dr. Farzam

This is Alpha I have been going to Dr Ray for all most 15 years and he is my family Dentist which I gave me all Credit and his Staffs very friendly and take good care of your need. I have recommended many of my friends to him and he is a Honest Man and his Office very Clean all around, I will give him five stars for all his work and professional with his Staffs. Dr Ray keep up the good work and God Bless for all this years of good work.

I have lived all over the country, so I always had to find new dentists. But if I move, I want to bring American Family Dental with me. They are super friendly, and professional. They took time to explain everything to me when I asked which I liked. They are highly recommended.

I have been a patient of Dr . Ray for 12 years. I have had major dental repairs done. Dr. Ray and his staff have build a safe and comfortable environment. Maria has been my hygienist for many years, she is amazing. Front desk is nice and helpful.  Dr Ray is amazing at what he does. My teeth are in great condition and look great as well thanks to him. I really appreciate his dedication, attentiveness, and compassion for his patients. Thank you for all that you do Dr Ray!

This is an excellent dentist as well as oral surgeon. I originally saw Dr. Farzam for a complicated oral surgery, and he did a perfect job. Subsequently, I have switched to him as my regular dentist. They are efficient, thorough, and very friendly. My teeth are now one of my best features. Thank you Dr. Farzam!
