My criteria for choosing a provider was they had to be kid friendly as I bring my young son with me to the appointments.  Dr. Howell as well as his staff are very accommodating to this need and take the time to answer all his curious questions and were very friendly to him when he got his first dental procedure done.  Highly recommend this team, can’t say enough great things about them.

I highly recommend Andover Family Dentistry: From my initial interaction to checking out following my appointment, the process was organized, friendly, and flawless. The dentist, hygienist, and all other employees were pleasant, competent, and reassuring. The equipment is state of the art. The spa-like office decor is appealing and comfortable. I had a lovely experience.

Dr. Howell and his staff are amazing!! They make sure the patient is comfortable, explains every procedure, takes the time to explain options and lets the patient decide the timeline for proceeding with dental work. I did not know that you could have an actual good experience with a dentist! You absolutely cannot go wrong if you book an appointment with Dr. Howell and his staff!!

Dr. Howell is a Dentist that cares about the quality of his work ! He has a wonderful personality and I genuinely feel he cares about people. I have never been able to say that about another Dentist. He worked hard to get extensive work done on my teeth that had to be done before my scheduled knee replacement. He did a EXCELLENT job ! The dental hygienist also care about the quality of the cleaning and dental care they provide. They are really caring people. His staff is wonderful, and they show consideration & kindness to all the patients. One could not ask for a better group of people to make your Dental visit pleasant.

Dr Howell and his staff, Hygienist Andrea and assistant Abbie were amazing! The office is so clean and tidy and everyone was exceptionally courteous! The technology used in the office is very up to date and would made me feeling very comfortable even when I had a cavity to have filled. The chair was amazing with a soft massage (nice touch) and watching videos to take my mind off what was going on! I am most definitely referring my friends and family here! Thank you Dr Howell and staff for taking care of my needs!

I rarely leave reviews for businesses unless the service is exceptional and that’s the case here. Dr. Howell recently finished a substantial makeover of my smile by replacing dated veneers with new crowns. My new smile looks fantastic, thanks to the professional work of Dr. Howell and his staff. I read that highly respected dentists share common personality traits. These traits include trustworthiness, attention to detail, artistic, great communicator (good listener), and compassion (caring and concern for how a patient feels during a procedure). Dr. Howell and his team can check all those boxes. The dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff are professionals that work hard to earn your trust. They’ve earned mine and that’s no easy task. I feel more like a member of an extended family rather than just another patient with a unique ID number. That’s a big deal to me. Dr. Howell knows his craft and it shows in his work. And don’t just take my word for it, ask to see my before and after photos during your visit and judge for yourself.

I am a recent new patient to Andover Family Dentistry. Dr. Howell and his staff were very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and thorough in evaluating my dental needs. He took time to answer all my questions and concerns which made me feel very confident in his dental skill expertise and patient care that he provides. I have been a patient here for several years. Dr. Howell and all of his staff, especially Kelsey, are polite, caring and professional. Andover Family Dentistry offers extra comforts such as massage chairs and televisions in treatment rooms. After an extensive dental procedure, the staff offered me an ice pack because they know I bruise easily. It’s the little things that become important when choosing and staying with a dental practice. The office and building are spotless and very well maintained.

Dr. Howell and his team are fantastic. They are kind and funny and I always have a great time when I’m there, even if he’s about to do some serious work. When other people tell me that they hate going to the dentist, I know it’s because they don’t have the right one and always suggest Dr. Howell to them. Don’t let his baby face fool you, he knows what he’s doing.

I am terrified of the dentist after a bad experience as a kid, so I was nervous when I needed a couple fillings replaced as an adult. This place has changed my perspective though! The wait is short, the staff is so sweet and understanding of my nerves, and all procedures have been very quick and painless! The staff is always happy to answer my many questions about what will be happening and you can tell they are all very knowledgeable and enjoy educating! Would definitely recommend this office to anyone! I left their office with a more confident smile!

This office is amazing! We recently moved here and they were recommended by multiple family members and friends. I wanted a family friendly office that was great with adults and with children so knowing my little nieces love Dr. Howell and the staff was very reassuring. Dr. Howell and his staff are excellent with customer service. They have awesome phone etiquette, always smiling and happy staff, and are amazing at explaining everything. Very thorough and want to make sure your health and safety are addressed. They show and explain your xrays and plan of care so you understand the work needed, they explain the options and let you make your decision, rather than tell you what they are going to do. They also try very hard to accommodate your work schedule and contact you with openings if there are cancellations. All around excellent care and they really make it an enjoyable experience. Glad we chose Andover Family Dentistry, they really make you feel like family!

My daughter and I have been coming here since 2017. Staff is always friendly. Ease of making appointments and changing on last minute notices, they will go the extra mile to accommodate your needs. Hygienist are so friendly and you are done before you know it. Though we only see them when we need a cleaning, they remember our conversations of where we left off last visit. Very personal staff. Dr. Howell is awesome. Great place.

Due to scheduling conflicts on my part, I had to contact the front desk multiple times. They were always extremely nice and accommodating as much as possible. Kelsey, my Dental Hygienist, is so knowledgeable and made me feel completely at ease the whole treatment. She knew exactly what I needed and helped me understand fully. Dr. Howell and his assistant took great care of my teeth and made me laugh and smile the whole time, making the whole experience very comfortable. I would 100% recommend this clinic!

Beautiful office with lots of comforting amenities like massage chairs with televisions in front of and above them. Very kind and helpful staff. I used to dislike going to the dentist and had not been for years, and now after my first visit to AFD I am actually looking forward to going back for my next cleaning in 6 months.

Very impressive dentist with great office staff. We decided to change dentists after after having several frustrating occurrences when we started needing dental procedures on our children. We were told that our, 9 year old son, needed sedation for filling on an under developed tooth. Long story short, a friend, suggested Dr. Howell and we are so thankful. His bedside manner is amazing and he was able to preform the dental procedure on our son without sedation, lowering his risks for complications. Such a relief!! I highly recommend him for your entire family!

Very professional. Quick appointments. Very nice online registration, so you’re not filling out mountains of paperwork at the facility. All staff are polite and responsive. You’re going to sit in a gentle massage chair with a TV on the ceiling showing cute puppies!! If you’re plumb wore out with long waits and Dr.s who think you should wait an hour on them, come here! This place is excellent.

My husband and I recently relocated to the Wichita area. I was given a few referrals upon arrival. I made a selection based on location and positive reviews before I called for an appointment. From the first person I talked to on the phone (Amber), to my hygienist (Andrea), to the doctor (Dr. Howell) , to the lady who checked me out (Ali), everyone was super warm, friendly, and made me feel welcome and well taken care of. I selected Andover Family Dentistry after going quite some time without a regular dental office to call home. My appointment from start to finish exceeded all expectations, Dr. Howell and his staff do phenomenal work. I was thrilled with the quality of service from the entire team. Dr. Howell is exceptional. Incredible “bedside” manner. His values are shared throughout the entire office. From the check-in to the check-out, you will get 5 star and genuine treatment from everyone on their team. My entire family, and now my mother-in-law, who is petrified of the dentist, are patients here. Prices are good and honest. They do not do unnecessary treatments and try to start with the best and most inexpensive options for you.

No body likes to go to the dentist, however Dr. Howell and his staff makes it as pain free as possible. His facility is so pretty and super clean. They have included a fun kid zone for children, this tells me that they care about family. I would recommend Andover Family Dentistry with 100% confidence that they will treat you and your family with the best care.

Hands down one of the best dentist we’ve ever been to. They communicate so well between you as a patient and amongst each other. I left there knowing everything regarding treatments plans, etc. They are also AWESOME with kids, it is comforting knowing they care so much! I definitely recommend this office for anyone needing a dentist.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Matthew Howell for a couple years now and he has always been honest with us. We know because of this story: Before coming here we went to another popular dentist “chain” that has more than one location in Wichita and they wanted to give our daughter, and my wife, multiple fillings. Not one filling, but quite a few! We did not feel they were being honest and found out from a third-party dentist that their teeth were fine and no fillings were needed. Shocking! We started with Dr. Howell after that experience and without telling him what had occurred to us, he told us their teeth were fine. He was honest, unlike the other dentist. On the flipside, he will let you know where you need to focus and if any dental work is actually required. Of course, the staff are all amazing, cordial, and let you know what options you have in the way of insurance co-payments and dental care. Lastly, the office is modern and uses an iPad to sign documents and so forth. Very efficient and customer focused all around. We highly recommend Andover Family Dentistry and Dr. Howell.
