I have severe dentist anxiety and Dr. Goldenberg and his assistant Suzanne have almost cured me. Dr. Goldenberg talks you thru every minute of your procedure and makes sure you are comfortable along the way. Suzanne is so competent and gentle; she and Dr. Goldenberg work together as an amazingly efficient team. I also highly recommend the hygienist Kris. She is knowledge and gentle and very friendly. The office is run so well that I have never had to wait to see either the hygienist nor the dentist. I’d like to give Dr. Goldenberg 10 stars!

Thanks to Dr. Goldenberg I now feel great. I had an infected wisdom tooth and thought I needed a second opinion. In fact I was in an emergency situation but didn’t quite know it. The doctor took an Xray and pointed out just how advanced the decay had become and that it was heading for the root. He so skillfully extracted the tooth that later when the local anesthesia wore off I still felt no pain. The wounded area had been cleaned up and I didn’t need any antibiotics either. Dr. Goldenberg is my dentist. He is one of the best. Also, a big word of appreciation for the office staff that listened and helped get me in right away. I am looking forward to future dental appointments and the comfort that comes with knowing that come what may, Dr. Goldenberg will take care of it.

I recently needed to have a tooth pulled that was causing incredible discomfort. Problem was -my dentist was on vacation and wouldn’t be back for two weeks. I began my search for a new one and came across a bunch of great reviews for Dr. Goldenberg. I decided to call. Another problem with my situation was that I had to travel in two days and had to get the tooth taken care of before I left town. I decided to give them a call. I am SO GLAD I DID. The front desk team could not have been more caring and professional. They were determined to get me in ASAP. They set an appointment before I left town but, then called me a few hours later and managed to get me in the next day after his last patient! Dr. Goldenberg turned out to be one of the best dentists I’ve ever been to. Smart, warm and professional. He deftly removed a broken molar (no easy task) without shattering the tooth and causing the need to dig it out – which I was bracing for.

Let me start by saying that I have always dreaded going to the dentist, like most people. But after my experience with Dr. Goldenberg and his staff I can positively say that I like going to the dentist. Who say’s that! It was just pleasant from start to finish. A friend recommended Dr. Goldenberg to me and it turned out to be the best decision ever!! Dr. Goldenberg is awesome!! His staff makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk in the door! He is friendly, and caring, and when he sits down with you, he walks you through every step of what he is going to work on. I have never met a dentist so gentle while working on your teeth! He reviews your x-rays thoroughly, and if there is anything that may be of concern for the future, he lets you know. Such a great dentist! I was referred to him and I’m so glad. I have been to many dentists over the years and he is one of the best. He explains everything he is doing, step by step. He does not overcharge or claim you need unnecessary dental work. I had a filling and it was not bad at all. He even called me the next day to check on me. I went to Dr. Goldenberg because of the reviews here, the reviews ARE CORRECT, well as far as my experience anyway. Went in for a repair on a filling that fell off. He replace it WITHOUT drilling and maybe a bit of numbing agent. I have very sensitive teeth, don’t know how he managed to do the work this well without anesthesia, amazingly gentle and KNOWLAGABLE. PLUS he corrected my bite that was bothering me for over a year in MINUTES!!!. I am telling everyone I know they should go there for whatever dentistry need they may have. PS. I had cleaning done a couple weeks earlier and one of the gentlest cleaning I have had ever! The difference it makes when you care!!!

Dr Weiss in Dr Goldenbergs office was wonderful. I came in with what turned out to be a cracked tooth. He and his nurse volunteered to come the next day to prepare my tooth for a crown so I wouldn’t have to suffer over the Memorial Day weekend! I am so impressed with this dentist that I seriously signed up for a Yelp account so that I could write a review! My former dentist moved far away and I found Andrew Goldenberg DDS with the sole intention of having my teeth cleaned and nothing else. The cleaning was great, the staff was great, and I left VERY HAPPY that I found a great, new dentist! Turns out, my functional medicine doctor later tested me for heavy metals and my mercury was very high. My doctor suggested that I get the last silver filling in my mouth removed during my heavy metal detox. I was nervous about this and I wanted to make sure that things were done correctly so I called Dr. Goldenberg and he took the time to speal with me on the phone, and he described and detailed the entire silver-filling-removal process to me and answered all of my questions. I did have the silver filling replaced by Andrew Goldenberg and I felt in very safe hands and he spoke to me throughout the entire process, describing everything he was doing – it was quick and I did not feel a thing. I am extremely excited that I found this dental office and will be referring everyone I know here. Also…Dr. Goldenberg is an honest dentist – he will not suggest procedures or unnecessary x-rays etc. if they are not needed. *Contrast that with a friend of mine who went to a dentist in the same area recently and that dentist told my friend that they would have to come back every 2 years to get fillings replaced to “keep them fresh”!!! HORRIBLE! In a sea of unethical doctors and dentists..Dr. Goldenberg is a wonderful, trustworthy, competent, professional dentists and also financially reasonable. Very grateful to have found him!

I HATE going to the dentist but if I don’t mind going to see Dr. Goldenberg. He is now the only dentist I will ever let work on my teeth. He is exceptionally gentle and sensitive. I worked briefly for a dental lab and called on over 600 dentists between Calabasas and Ojai. The technicians at the lab said Dr. Goldenberg’s margins for crowns were impeccable. I switched to Dr. Goldenberg, and also had my entire family switch to him. He is a wonderful dentist, very conservative when it comes to treatment. I have had 2 crowns put on by Dr. Goldenberg and I cannot tell the difference between my other teeth and the teeth with crowns. Everyone I have ever referred to Dr. Goldenberg loves him. The technicians at the dental lab think he is an amazing dentist, and they see work from all the dentists in the area. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Goldenberg!!!

I absolutely hate going to the dentist. I have horrible anxiety and fear. It’s so bad that going to the dentist was a whole day thing. The before the visit I’d dread going, then after I’d be so exhausted because I got so worked up before and during the visit. However, I left Dr. Andrew Goldenberg’s office smiling. I’m actually looking forward to my next cleaning. The hygienist did everything in her power to make my visit more comfortable. She used tactics normally used for other procedures to make it as comfortable as possible for my incredibly sensitive teeth. Then she wrote down all the stuff she used, so during my next cleaning will be just as easy. Also, Dr.Goldenberg suggested on using some gas just to help me calm down. I have never been so comfortable or so happy with a dentist. I actually left smiling and not because I was leaving. I would suggest Dr.Goldenberg and his staff to anyone who has had sensitive teeth or a bad history with the dentist.

Dr. Goldenberg ROCKS!!! If you are looking for a new dentist….look no more! Dr. G is the BEST! After years of neglect on my own part, and simply just being terrified of the dentist, it was time to bite the bullet and try to re-build my smile. I had tried going a few times to other dentists for free consultations, but after I was told I would have to pull all my teeth… ( this happened after they spent all of 5 minutes with me) I walked out of the consultation in tears 🙁 After my husband had Dr. Goldenberg help him with an emergency extraction of a tooth that had gotten badly infected… he came home and said ” I found us our new dentist!!!” Needless to say, from the first time I walked into his office it was a pleasure!!! The staff makes you just feel right at home, and Dr. G spent more time with me going over all my options… I felt like I was his only patient! Other than my own anxiety, I never felt rushed or scared. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Andrew Goldenberg was born and raised in Ventura, California. He attended both the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of Southern California (USC) for his undergraduate studies. He graduated from USC with his Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. After working as a dental hygienist for some years, he returned to the Trojan Family at USC where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Goldenberg graduated in the top 10% of his class and was the recipient of the prestigious Rex Ingram Award for excellence in clinical operative dentistry. He is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an elite National Dental Honor Society. He is a member of the California Dental Assocation (CDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Dental Association (ADA). The doctor and his family, live locally in the Conejo Valley. Dr. Goldenberg has fraternal twin boys, Mason and Jaxon, who were born May 2012, and a daughter, Chloe, who was born in May 2015. He is very family oriented and spends as much time with his growing children as possible. During the summer, Dr. Goldenberg enjoys waterskiing and wakeboarding with his family at Lake Nacimiento. He also likes a good game of ping pong! Dr. Goldenberg looks forward to many years of service in the field of dentistry. Dr. Goldenberg and his wife, Chelsea, live locally in the Conejo Valley.
