Finally a dentist you can trust. The list of terrible dentist in this town are long, but finally one who tells you the truth and does not try to sell you or pressure you into something you don’t need. A year of seeing her and the whole family is happy. Dr. Chukhman and her staff are absolutely incredible! I’ve referred so many friends to her dental office and the consensus is the same…best dentist in SCV! There’s never a wait, they are always on time and the entire staff is friendly. I had a crown emergency late on a Friday night and would have had to wait until the next business day, which meant I had to go the whole weekend without a crown. But Dr. Chukhman responded to me immediately and took time out on her weekend to meet me first thing the very next morning and took care of it. Above and beyond exceptional service. Finding a good dentist is like finding a good mechanic. I LOVE Dr Chuckman. She has a great sense of humor and I too have felt that she has a conservative approach to dentistry. Instead of drilling on everything, she will watch and wait and isn’t pushing to replace all fillings or to drill right away. Here schedule is not jam packed beyond her ability to accommodate emergency visits. Further, I have young children and she is great with them too. She’s patient and warm. Dr. Anna Chukhman is the best. On Sunday afternoon my twelve year old son tripped and chipped his front permanent tooth. I called Dr. Chukhmans’s office and left a message on her emergency phone. She got back to me with in minutes and saw my son with in the hour, mind you, on Sunday and in the pouring rain!! Dr. Chukhman is a wonderful person and a suburb Dentist. I recommend her to all.

I can’t even believe this place. I can say 100% that I have not an inkling of fear going to the dentist if I’m visiting Dr. Chukhman. I would go as far as to say that it’s a PLEASURE. If you can’t say the same about your current dentist, I recommend trying her out with all my heart. Plus, they’re open super early on some days (7 am) so you can get in before work. Tammy at the front desk tries her best to work with your schedule and coordinate appointments for you. Truly the kindest people in town. Very honest and professional. Completely non-judgemental humans, if that’s a concern for you.

Dr. Chuckman and all of her staff are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I’ve never before enjoyed going to the dentist before I started going to see Dr. Chuckman. She is truly wonderful, and genuinely nice! You can just tell that she really loves what she does, as does her staff, (which is important when it deals with putting sharp objects in your mouth!) I also love that Dr. Chuckman herself has cleaned my teeth personally almost every time I have been in. That is rare! Anyway, I am so glad I found Dr. Chuckman, and I highly recommend her to anyway who is looking for a new dentist. (Especially great for anyone who likes to get their dental appointments over with first thing in the morning. They have 7am appointments!)

I was a little worried that I was going to have to drive about 20-25 minutes whenever I had an appointment with her, but I am SO glad I didn’t let the distance to her office dissuade me. My entire family has been going to Dr. Chukhman for years. I had very poorly done dental work that Dr. Chukhman took a very reasonable approach and created a work plan that corrected the damage over time. I had been taking my children to a pediatric dentist but I liked Dr. Chukhman so much I began bringing my children to her as well and my youngest was less than five years old at the time. They loved her and never had a fear of dentists. The office staff is wonderful and I feel like Tammy is an old friend who has known us for a long time. I have gone to many dentists in my life time and Dr. Chukhman and her staff are by far the best.

Okay, so I haven’t been to the dentist in two years (because I hate going) and I came here for the first time yesterday. I loved Dr. Anna. First of all, Tammy at the front desk is SUPER sweet and so helpful with anything you need and totally non-judgemental of all the fearful people who admit they haven’t gone to the dentist in a long time. Once I got called back, Daniella (also incredibly sweet) took 18 digital x-rays. Then since I was a first time patient, Dr. Anna cleaned my teeth herself! She said I had no cavities (yay!) and beautiful teeth! I did mention about how I felt like one of my previous fillings came out even though I was experiencing zero pain and zero sensitivity. She took a look and said it appeared to be a small chip but nothing was exposed so if it wasn’t bothering me we didn’t need to touch it. That spoke VOLUMES to me because I feel like most dentists would jump on that opportunity to push a procedure or another filling. But nope, she said to let it be and if it bothers me or part of my tooth starts getting exposed then we can look into doing something to fix it and in the meantime we’ll keep an eye on it during my semi-annual visits. She was so gentle and calm which was so nice because even after going through childbirth twice, I have so much anxiety surrounding dental work. Once she was done, Daniella came back to polish and floss my teeth and I was outta there! See you in 6 months Dr. Anna!

Hallelujah! After 6 years and 4 months of searching for the perfect dentist after moving down here, I’ve finally found one!! Yes I’m one of those weirdos who loves going to the dentist so it was important that I found the perfect one. Dr. Chukhman is super friendly, gentle, and honest. I’ve been to other dentists in the area who were rough, told me I needed every filling and crown replaced in my mouth, seemed to dislike their job, or had the personality of a grapefruit. They have early morning appointments for those who may not be able to make it during other times of the day. I was able to get in, get my x-rays, cleaning, and have a problem tooth fixed all before I went to work. Looking forward to all of my cleanings and checkups from now on

Dr. Chuckman is my favorite dentist of all time. Her work is beautiful as well as minimal. She is extremely honest and does her best to go for the least invasive procedure possible. She’s the only dentist who has talked me out of dental work (most try to talk me into it to make money). My crowns were extremely fairly priced and esthetically gorgeous. My only complaint is that I moved away and no longer live close enough to keep her as my dentist .

Best dentist ever!!! I was apprehensive to go to any dentist after years of horrible experiences. I had horrible anxiety and would be so shakey to the point of crying at even the thought of going to the dentist. However, I was referred to Dr. Chukhman by at least 5 people who swore she was the best. I called and spoke with the receptionist Tammy who was the most pleasant and sweet person! She was very understanding of my hectic work schedule and was patient and helpful in understanding my needs and being able to fit me in at what worked best with my schedule. She also made sure I wasn’t in any pain or in need of an emergency dental appt. Tammy and Dr. Chukhman were aware of my anxiety and helped prepare me prior to coming for my appointment. They truly took time to help understand what my fear of the dentist was so I could overcome it. Upon entering the office I was pleasantly surprised with the extremely warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and acknowledge you. They were very thorough during x rays. (No clue what GK is referring to. Their statement is completely opposite of everything I experienced. They asked multiple questions and did not insult or insinuate anything. And there’s no way Tammy would ever say anything negative. Trust me. If you meet her even once you’ll realize the statement below is false!) The cleaning itself was impeccable. My husband agreed my teeth had NEVER been so clean. I always had a lot of plaque that other dentists couldn’t remove but Dr. Chukhman got it all. I was shocked these were actually my teeth! She is a very gentle dentist and extremely sweet and professional. I now actually get excited to go to the dentist because my fears are gone! I’ve already been going to her for over a year and my husband goes to her too now. I’ve referred a few people who have all been more than satisfied with the services they received. Tammy always helps me schedule my future appts and makes sure im 100% satisfied before leaving. They even send you email and text reminders prior to your appt in case you forget! Dr. Anna Chukhman received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the UCLA Dental School where she was a recipient of the Regents Scholarship. After graduating, she stayed at UCLA to complete a one-year residency in advanced general and cosmetic dentistry. To stay current with many new developments in the art and science of dentistry, Dr. Chukhman continued her relationship with the UCLA dental school where she is a part-time faculty. She is, also, a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Valley Dental Society. Dr. Anna Chukhman has two sons and she enjoys watching them play hockey and basketball.
