When a toothache strikes close to a holiday panic starts to set in and all the sleepless nights and home remedies that don’t work. I called this office and they were able to get me in ASAP. Saw that I had an infection and prescribed antibiotics. The following day I felt better but still unbearable pain. I called the office and they moved things around to fit me in. Turns out we had to do a root canal and Dr. went out of his way to make sure I didn’t feel a thing. I have too many fantastic experiences to share. I’m 58 years old and have had several great dentist’s in the suburbs of Chicago. 25 years ago a dentist in Arlington Heights area was retiring but he specialized in gold inlays and onlays? yup 25 years later Dr Bernardo has been replacing them. I can tell you the time when I was in my truck on New Years Eve waiting for the new year with insurance….but the impacted infected root canal I needed didn’t know what the date was. I stopped in Baltimore MD for antibiotics and when I hit my destination in Florida, I flew back to Chicago to see Dr Bennardo, of course we had a phone consult and he said he would do everything in one day….if I wished. Flew in and next day was in the chair for 5.5 hours. The fixing, nurturing, one day no return visits. I recommend my family of course and anyone else that will listen that he is the BEST. full disclosure not the least expensive and he might be higher than others. I had others and there is nothing worse than seeing a non confident Dr/ Dentist. there are many awesome procedures he conducted on my family. I affectionately call him ‘the mad scientist’, not sure if he cares for that moniker but I’m son happy we made a Dr/ patient connection 20 years ago.

Been a patient of Dr Bennardo for quite a number of years now however this was my daughter’s first visit with Dr Fry and she was having two teeth extractions done. She had a bad experience with a prior pediatric dentist and was very hesitant going into this visit. But Dr Fry was AMAZING! He explained upfront exactly what he would be doing, then explained what he was doing while doing it and was just overall a very nice and good with kids! We were in and out in no time. I am never a fan of going to the dentist! Lol not sure of many that are! But every time over the many years I go to Dr. Bennardo’s I am always reminded why I stick with him and his crew. I recently moved back to the area and was in search of a new dentist. Like most people do, I went online and did my research. I was happy that my experience was right on par with the majority of the reviews for Dr.Bennardo. My schedule is quite hectic and his staff was so accommodating when it came to me throwing out as many dates and times to try to fit me in. I needed a root canal done asap, and not only were they able to get me in quick enough, they even reached out to my old office for my dental info for me so I didn’t have to go back and forth. When it came time to do the root canal, he was as thorough as he could be with walking me through what would happen and even showing me digital examples to ensure my comfort- which is great when one can be nervous about any dental procedure. His staff also followed up with me the next day to see how I was feeling. As much as a root canal could be awful, they made their best efforts to make it not feel so horrible. Pros about this place is his entire staff is polite & kind. They break down pricing of what you’re about to do, and make sure you’re okay with that before proceeding and never once made me feel awkward about talking finance. I also felt that Dr. Bennardo is very knowledgeable about his profession and had a great bedside manner. Only Con is that a root canal is pretty expensive- great thing here though is you can setup payment plans if needed. I would recommend this dental office to anyone in the area.

As usual the service was excellent. The staff was very informative about treatment, the cost, and the entire process in general. During my semi-annual cleaning it was determined that some additional work was needed due to a cracked tooth and crown needed on another, which they were able to complete the same day!
