I drive 35 miles each way to come to Dr. Yamada. That should be testament enough to the absolute pleasure it is to come here for anything dental. Every single person that works in this office is extremely professional, friendly and very competent. I am always made to feel welcome, made comfortable and every step of every procedure is explained thoroughly. While working on my teeth, Dr. Yamada will check in on your comfort every few minutes and adjust accordingly, he will constantly tell you what he is about to do, what to expect and make sure you are comfortable. Simply, the only place to go.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Yamada for years and we couldn’t be more pleased with his service and office. The staff is so friendly and accommodating- they remember me every time, ask about my kids and immediately put me at ease, which is important given that the thought of the dentist can inspire a bit of anxiety at times. The location is extremely convenient, technology is top notch, there are televisions to watch at each chair and I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for my appointment. Appointments are quick and easy, and I’m on my way. Stephanie is great and Dr. Yamada is very laid back yet thorough and very knowledgeable. I don’t ever get a hard sell from this place. All in all, we’re loyal patients- highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for more than ten years and this is what a dental practice is when it’s the best it can be. First and foremost, the doctor and hygienists are knowledgeable and kind. Doctor Yamada only does work that is needed; he’ll say when something is required, optional, or not needed. His integrity is the highest possible and I never feel I’m being told I should have work done when I shouldn’t. The doctor and his assistant, Jason, explain every move they make for me, so nothing is a shock. And they’re so gentle, I have never, ever been hurt so I’ve no fears when I’m in the chair under their care. Stephanie is my hygienist and keeps my teeth looking their best and watches my dental health, too. She does a most thorough job cleaning in the most gentlest of ways and provides guidance on how I can keep them at their best. I have never felt rushed and everyone in the office will spend all the time I need asking questions or getting a service. Everyone there is so kind and courteous. This is the best dental office!!

I was phobic about going to dentists due to very different attitudes dentists held when I was a child (over 50 years ago). Dr. Yamada has been patient and worked with me on my phobia. With his skill and demeanor, he has been able to give me the confidence to no longer need anxiety medication prior to appointments. Stephanie is also a terrific hygienist, so that Dr. Yamada’s office is a warm and welcoming place. I strongly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Yamada is a great dentist! He is technically superb and stays on top of the latest advances in his field. He has an excellent bedside manner and is a good listener where his patients are concerned. He always gives his patients a clear and concise understanding of what needs to be done and how he will complete the job. More than a few times he has identified potential issues and dealt with them before they became serious problems for me. His staff is excellent and very pleasant to deal with in all situations. There has been very little turnover in his staff which is always a plus with a group like this. After many years as a client I remain totally satisfied and highly recommend Dr. Yamada and his staff for any and all dental services.

I started going to Dr. Yamada’s practice, about 6 years ago, after I experienced a sloppy crown installation/job from my prior dentist. After my insurance approved, Dr. Yamada was able to accurately replace that crown without an original mold! That is super talent! My wife is extremely happy with Dr. Yamada’s practice too.

After completing his undergraduate degree in Aquatic Biology at the University of California at Santa Barbara, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1985. Dr. Yamada is passionate about providing "state-of-the-art" care and stays current with new treatments, innovations and technologies by attending close to 100 hours of post doctoral training per year. He has trained with some of the leading pioneers in dentistry at the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and University of Southern California Odontic Study Group. Married to his wife since 1985, Dr Yamada is the proud father of his daughter & son. He is an avid sports fan and has enjoyed coaching their youth sports teams and supporting their high school teams. His personal interests include surfing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and traveling with his family.
