I came to this dental office for X-rays, cleaning and annual exam.  Starting with my initial call to make an appointment was warming.  Sarah the receptionist was kind and friendly.  She explained my dental coverage and co-pay.  I was also offered beverages as I waited.  I was very comfortable when Crystal was taking my X-rays since I have a small mouth she made sure her positioning wasn’t causing me discomfort.   Crystal has a great smile and positive attitude which helped calm my nerves.  Dr. Valentina was very professional and gentle.  She had clear answers to my questions and my mouth felt very clean when she was done.  After a great experience with Dr. Valentina Goren she referred me to her husband Dr. Michael Goren for one of my teeth needing a root canal.  I come to this office with a sense of ease because I know both of their work is trustworthy.  Their dental team is always very welcoming and they make sure that the patients are their priority.  I am very happy with my results and encourage anyone looking for skillful Dentists to get in contact with Dr. Goren’s office.

I had been going to a different dentist for way too long. I decided I needed to make a change. I found Apex Dental online and was very impressed with the reviews. I’ve now been to the office twice. I already feel at home! The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Goren was friendly, welcoming, gentle, and thorough. She suggested bonding on a couple teeth and I had no hesitation about taking her advice. Why my previous dentist didn’t make the same recommendation is beyond me. It was an easy procedure and the results are great! I’m done looking for a new dentist!

After moving to Los Angeles a few years ago, I never thought I’d find a dentist as great as the one I had in Chicago. Thankfully, some friends recommended Dr. Goren, and she is absolutely as amazing as my old dentist! Dr. Goren’s entire staff is friendly and helpful and the office itself is beautifully appointed. I always feel welcome and at ease there, from the moment I walk in the door to the end of my visit. I’ve had routine cleanings, a filling, and a few crowns here, and each procedure was done expertly by Dr. Goren and her staff, with great care taken to make sure I was comfortable throughout my appointments. Further testament to the excellence of her office: I moved from Los Angeles to Orange County last year, but I still happily make the trek up to Dr. Goren a few times a year!

Today was the first time I visited a dentist in a good 15 years.  I was terrified to visit a dentist but knew I had to.  My teeth had terrible plaque build up and yellow from years of smoking and coffee drinking.   I scheduled an exam and cleaning.  I just knew I was going to leave the way I came in with a battle plan to get my teeth healthy again.  I read all the reviews and made my choice.  The receptionist was amazing.  So nice, warm, and welcoming.  The office is modern and clean.  Still so nervous.   The room was very nice with TV and actual comfortable chair. X rays were quick and painless done right in the room.  The dentist Valentina Goren was very nice.  She explained I had three cavities that would need to be filled as well as my wisdoms that had cavities that could be filled or extracted.   She did not pressure me or try to up sell me at all.  I decided to get a deep cleaning and she was very gentle.  I am pleased to tell you I scheduled my next appointment and feel at ease to come back.  I trust the dentist was honest and will do the best possible work.  I am thrilled to tell you my teeth look so much better!  Plaque gone and teeth look yes… whiter.  I am not embarrassed to smile any more.  I would definitely recommend visiting Valentina Goren to everybody.  I also will be flossing daily and look forward to keeping my teeth healthy.

Ever wonder where a Dentist goes to fix his teeth? Yes, I’m a Dentist here in LA, and I can get my teeth fixed anywhere, but I chose Apex Dental. At first I went to see Dr. Michael Goren and he advised me that I don’t need a root canal—-YEAH!!! I was referred to Dr. Valentina Goren to restore my tooth. I was nervous but at first encounter Dr. Valentina put me at ease. I consider her an artisan, not just a Dental professional! Her chair side manor was exceptional, her touch soft as silk and the staff work hard to make me feel comfortable. My experience there was truly five star!

I’m surprised that there aren’t more reviews.  As a kid I was traumatized by a dentist who didn’t seem to care that I was feeling tremendous amounts of pain during a root canal.  As a result,  I avoided dentists for many years.   I was referred to Valentina and Michael through a family friend who knew I needed a gentle touch.  Both are extremely precise with their shots and I had no discomfort.   Valentina takes a bit more time to let the meds really numb you up to perform her magic, but you get to watch TV while you wait in your chair.  Michael is an artist with the root canal needles.  He went in and redid the failed root canal that the butcher did all those years ago.  Both have extreme attention to detail and genuinely care about your oral hygiene not your wallet weight.  After I had a filling from Valentina, she warned me of potential pain, but after the Novocaine wore off… nothing.    After the root canal Michael warned me of the same, being such a deep job I expected some pain after, but again nothing to report except just a mild soreness.  The neighborhood isn’t the greatest but nothing to worry about.  You prepay parking and get a refund with validation. Rumor has it that they will be opening an office on Ventura Blvd. and Hazeltine. Looking forward to it for my next check up. Thank you guys for being such amazing professionals of your craft. Truly a hidden gem in Sherman Oaks. I have had some terrible work done by a dentist in the past that I’m still trying to fix. With so many problems with my teeth I have had some not so awesome conversations with dentists and with a recent one here in Sherman Oaks which left me feeling like even though I had some money that it wasn’t enough as the work they may have to do might fail and I would need an implant. Feeling hopeless and having a bad feeling about them I went through the dental discount plan and found Apex Dental. From the minute I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile. The entire staff are extremely friendly and even got me, an introvert to talk about myself. I was never treated like I was a hopeless case even after one of my hopeless teeth chipped making the situation worse. She explained to me what needed to happen and though it was tricky she saved my tooth. With the modern interior, incredible staff, and a dentist who has such gentle hands that the usually painful parts were a breeze I thought surely I would have to pay a huge mark up but they had normal prices and unlike the previous dentist I saw in Sherman Oaks, even explained my options and what I was covered for. Because I had such little tooth left, I did go with a crown that was more expensive but I understood why and it was my choice. I knew that even if I went with the other crown I wouldn’t get some passive aggressive comment. Unlike many other dentists who I’m sure most others can agree will give you attitude for your teeth not being perfect coming in, this dental office as a whole are remarkably patient, understanding and feel like human beings. Regardless of how your teeth are I would highly recommend this place for Dr. Goren’s amazing skill and this incredible office that reflects her excellence.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Valentina Goren for 7 or 8 years. We are both EXTREMELY detailed (a little OCD) and even more difficult to please. I don’t know that we have ever stuck with anyone this long. The location in Sherman Oaks is beautifully detailed, state of the art and immaculately clean, which reflects on the kind of dentist Dr. Goren is and the work she does on our teeth!  I have not had to have a lot of dental work but she has done a couple of crown and one root canal. She always made sure I was comfortable and pain free. She is very gentle! Luckily I only have to go in for a check up and cleaning every six months! Also, the staff is so nice and helpful!!  I truly urge everyone to go here!

I’ve been coming to Apex Dental for years, and I have no idea why I haven’t written a review before. This place is amazing! I’m actually one of those crazy people who loves going to the dentist, but I’m also ridiculously picky. When my childhood dentist retired, I avoided going to a dentist for nearly a decade because I couldn’t find any that would’ve met my expectations. I decided to give Apex Dental a shot, and I was blown away! Dr. Goren is amazing. She’s super friendly (but won’t ask you awkward questions while your mouth is full of tools) and does an amazing job overall. The staff is just as friendly and helpful. I always find myself laughing with Maria at the front desk. I’m actually writing this as I’m sitting in the lobby, waiting for my boyfriend to finish up his appointment (I finished mine first). I’m sitting in a massage chair with a cappuccino in hand, happy as can be. Needless to say, this is the most pleasant wait I’ve ever experienced and it’s no wonder I now refuse to go anywhere else. I’m really looking forward to my check up in 6 months!

Usually, when it comes to dentists, it is really hard for me to write a positive review. However, when it comes to Apex Dental, it is surprisingly easy. The office is clean and comfortable, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly, their equipment is cutting edge (which, aside from being really cool, seemed to make things run smoother and make my visit shorter), and Dr. Goren is a master at her craft. She literally cured my fear of the dentist with her confident and gentle approach. After having a few deep fillings done, I expected some pain and/or tenderness and sensitivity. To my surprise, there was absolutely nothing. My mouth isn’t sore from the shots or the dental work, and my tooth pain is finally gone. I really can’t say enough positive things about these guys. If you’re looking for a quality dentist, look no further!

After not having an exam or cleaning for 3.5 years, this office was recommended to me. Every aspect of the visit was phenomenal. The waiting area has coffee and tea, as well as comfortable seating, which includes two massage chairs. The X-rays are done in the exam room, which is the first time I’ve seen that. Instead of going from room to room for each task on the checklist, you enter the exam room and stay there until the visit is over. Dental work has never bothered me, but the dentists and technicians I’ve had in the past have. The people are what makes the experience. Dr. Goren and her staff are polite, insightful, and caring. Everything was explained to me clearly, and I was left without any questions to ask because they covered the bases so well. I don’t even know what else to say. I’m almost speechless because of how satisfied I am. If you need dental work, visit Apex Dental. You will leave with a smile on your face.

Dr. Valentina Goren is amazing! Her service and personal touch makes a world of a difference. I used to live 5 minutes away from her office when I started my visits; I’ve  since moved 30 miles away, and I make the drive to see her. I had two of my wisdom teeth removed, and all the horror stories I’d heard, were non-existent, thanks to Dr. Goren’s hands. Each visit check is pleasant, and painless. Dr. Goren is great at her profession, the staff is friendly, and both locations are clean and welcoming. It’s the little things that make a difference, and the amenities available show that they care about the patient’s comfort.

I had not been to the dentist in several years, and I thought it was time to get a check up and see what the damage was.  It was very easy to make an appointment and go in.  I have a pretty big fear of the dentist, so this was huge.  When I got there, everyone was super friendly. After filling out their initial questionnaire and letting them know of my fear, I was taken to a room pretty quickly.  Dr. Goren came in pretty quickly and examined my teeth and told me that I needed a deep cleaning.  Since this was a few months ago, I don’t quite remember the circumstances, but she gave me different options and I chose not to get the full numbing medicine. Because I chose that, it was a little more rigorous of a procedure, but she and her assistant talked me through everything and checked in frequently to make sure I was okay and if I needed to stop.  After powering through, my teeth were much better.  I also needed three cavities filled, which were done in two different visits, and both of those went very smoothly.  I have a cleaning scheduled for a few months from now, and I’m not scared to go anymore.  Thank you, Dr. Goren and staff!

We moved to San Bernardino county nearly 9 years ago.  Since then, we’ve been bouncing around from dentist to dentist in our area.  We had been referred to Apex Dental in the past however we thought it was to far for us.  We decided to give them a shot when my husband had been turned down by another dentist telling him he had nothing wrong with his teeth and perhaps he had migraines.  That day my husband was in excruciating pain, we called Apex for a 2nd opinion. They gave us an appointment right away.  Turns out my husband needed a root canal.   I have nothing but good things to say about this dentistry.  First impression, the office is modern & very clean. The front desk staff is friendly, organized & knowledgeable.  My husband was impressed with both Doctors, Michael & Valentina Goren.  We returned 2 weeks later for my husband’s follow up & I decided to get a cleaning for myself with Dr. Goren, she is detailed & gentle.  We are very pleased & will continue to come here and make them our permanent dentistry. They are definitely worth the drive & will gladly refer my friends & family.

Cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Valentina and Michael Goren, the staff, and the office in general. As someone who was extremely terrified of going to the dentist, I have them to thank for overcoming my fear and making me look forward to each and every visit. I have been their patient since early 2011 and I have recommended all of my family and friends to them as well. (P.S. I don’t know why it took me so long to write a review. I probably wanted to keep them all to myself and not share! Haha) So if you’re terrified like me and you need to get your smile right, don’t wait any longer. First I must say that I absolutely hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Goren and the rest of the girls in the office help make it a great experience. I’ve recently moved to Los Angeles and was looking for a dentist. The office is in a great and easy accessible location. I’ve never had an issue with billing or my records, the staff is always friendly and willing to help. I give this place 5 stars – a million if I could – and highly recommend it.

I had a cleaning and exam with Dr. Valentina Goren, and it was a GREAT experience. Front desk staff and assistants are all very friendly and informative. Barely any wait time at all, service was very prompt, and I was given ample opportunities to ask any questions if I needed to. Dr. Goren is a knowledgeable and very kind person to work with. They gave me a cute goody bag on the way out with floss and toothpaste and toothbrush. The dental chairs ARE MASSAGE CHAIRS TOO — Whattttttt. And there are personal TVs. Highly recommend!!.

Already rated 5 stars on Yelp & wanted to here as well – I’ve had more dentists than most people and have had more work done on my teeth than any two people combined, so take it from an ‘expert’: THEY ARE THE BEST!! As others have noted, their honesty is shocking and relieving, often advising ‘less is more’ and truly treating you like they would their own family. You can also tell they extend that care to their employees and staff which is just so awesome to see. This is the way it ought to be 🙂 So glad I found them, and I hope more people discover how incredible they are. (PS- have since moved to DTLA and still make the trip because they’re worth it!

This is really a 10 star rating!!! If you have Dental Phobia, your fears stop here! If you want an honest, kind and gentle dentist, look no further. Dr. Goren is amazing! The previous dentist I went to said I had 9 cavities. I went to Dr. Goren for a second opinion and she told me that I had NO cavities. She also was extremely gentle with my deep cleaning and would frequently ask how I was doing during the procedure. Crystal who assisted Dr. Goren during my 4 visits to the office was also very accommodating. She would constantly ask me if I needed anything and was always concerned with doing what she could to make my visits a pleasant experience. Sarah at the front desk was extremely helpful and very patient while answering all of my questions. She has a great knowledge of the dental industry. Everyone in the office rocks! Maria and Nancy also have great attitudes and are super friendly. Everything in the office is modern and most importantly, CLEAN. You fill out the forms on an iPad (Something all medical offices should be doing in 2016), which only takes about 10 minutes. It has to be the shortest time I’ve ever taken in a doctor’s office to fill out forms. The dental chairs have massagers and a T.V. Very cool! Dr. Goren’s office is a model example of how all medical professionals should run their business.

I usually don’t write reviews but I was so impressed by Dr. Valentina that I just have to express my gratitude. My old dentist told me that there is nothing he could do with the sensitive tooth. Dr. Valentina solved the problem that I have had for a year in 30 mins. She placed a bonding on the tooth that was sensitive and just like that, my pain went away. It was also very affordable. I would have paid a lot more just to get rid of the pain. Thank you Dr. Valentina!!!!

I was nervous, terrified, anxious, dental-phobic… then I met Dr. Goren and her Amazing team! It was 13 years since I visited the dreaded dentist chair.  I avoided it like the plague and would not want ANYTHING to do with the dentist.  If my teeth didn’t fall out, I figured I was fine! Now that I’m older, I realized I needed to go to the dentist and have my teeth cleaned.  In the pit of my stomach, I knew I had to get a deep cleaning…  I figured I’d look on Yelp for reviews and found Dr. Goren! I made an appointment over the phone with Nicole. She was very pleasant and calming.  I asked her whether or not the dentist was rough, how painful would a deep cleaning be, what would they do, etc…  When I’m nervous I ask a lot of questions but Nicole answered all of them and really took time to understand my fear. The day of dread came and walking into the office, I was very pleasantly surprised by the modern office!  It’s been 13 years and this office had the nice leather couches, flat screen tvs, digital pads to fill out forms, and even a massaging dentist chair.  I felt like I time travelled to the future to get my cleaning done. They first did the X-Rays which I could do all day long.  Very quick and very easy.  That’s not the part I’m worried about. The Dr. showed me the dark areas which were plaque buildup and confirmed I’d need to have a deep cleaning and that she would be numbing me via needle!  She would do one side today and then schedule me for the other half.  She also gave me the option to do it all in one single day but that we’d see how it goes with the first half and then decide after.  The shots of course just pinch a little bit but it was over before I knew it.  The cleaning was so painless I actually closed my eyes and relaxed for awhile!  I told her why not do the other half if this is how easy it’s going to be!  My entire mouth was numb from the shots but in a great way… I actually enjoyed it!  My entire dentist experience was turned around 180 degrees! I was excited about the fact that I’m no longer afraid of the dentist I could hardly contain myself!  I was calling everyone with my numb mouth saying “Geth Wut?!  I went to da dentitht and tshe thwas awthum!” As a former dental-phobe, I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Goren and her team.  I have a follow up visit next week for a polish that I’m actually excited to do! Thank you Doctor!

Dr. Valentina Goren is the best Dentist that I have ever had. She is professional, knowledgeable, and most important (for me) is that she has a very professional and friendly support staff (Nancy and Carolin). The office, exam rooms, and facilities are always pristine and spotless. They also have the best massage chairs while you wait listening to fantastic music. I have my teeth cleaned 4 times a year at Apex and there is only one level of service there, Great Service…When you visit a Dentist Office as many times as I do, and see the consistency in which Apex operates….As a 2 year patient of Dr. Valentina Goren I can truthfully and comfortably recommend her and her staff to anyone.

Dr. Goren and her staff are seriously the best. There’s free parking in the back which makes it easy to get off of Ventura quickly when you’re in crazy traffic. The office is beautiful and modern while being completely comfortable. Sarah the receptionist is so friendly and knowledgable. She is super patient and helpful, it almost makes you want to wait in the waiting room longer just to talk with her more. Once you’re in the chair (which has a heat and massage option!) it’s easy to feel relaxed. Crystal rules, she is so awesome and makes you feel super comfortable while she gets everything done quickly and efficiently. Dr. Goren is the sweetest lady ever and is really gentle. The cleaning was actually pretty enjoyable! Plus her gloves are scented which was a fun surprise. I had two cavities which she filled the following week and even though I’m a total baby about needles, she made me feel really at ease. She filled both cavities quickly and painlessly. I needed my bite adjusted a bit later and she got me in right away. I can’t say enough good things about these ladies. A genuinely enjoyable experience all around. They get my highest recommendation!

Apex Dental: Dr Valentina Goren is very kind and dedicated. Her office is beautifully clean and offers the highest quality amenities from state of the art dentistry equipment, plush massage chairs, latest technology, efficiently designed patient rooms, upgraded bathroom, and convenient parking in the back lot. She has truly committed to her dentistry craft and it’s reflective in her new office, located in the heart of Sherman Oaks on Ventura Boulevard. The exterior building has contemporary design with unique metallic-like tiles on the wall. The walkway and ramp offer convenient access for disability patients too!

I LOVE all the staff I’ve encountered here & in the Van Nuys branch. I don’t dread dentist visits anymore since choosing Dr. Valentina Goren & Dr. Michael Goren, a husband & wife team. I was so nervous on my first visit to their office that my hands were shaky & my tummy was full of butterflies. Maria, the receptionist, was so kind & friendly & helpful she put me at ease before I even saw the dentist. Then Crystal, the dental assistant, was very kind & gentle with me while taking my X-rays & further put me at ease. After meeting Dr.Valentina I knew I had chosen the right dentist. She was kind & professional & explained everything I needed to do to fix any problems so that I had no questions when I left. Dr. Michael performed my root canal a few days ago & it was nothing to dread. He was gentle & it didn’t take very long & now I am pain free. The dental assistant, Hector, was as kind & friendly as Maria & Crystal & he made my fear disappear which was greatly appreciated as I was pretty scared! I think it’s extremely important for dentist visits to be as pleasant as possible so people don’t dread them & thus will go as often as they need to & take care of their teeth. This dental team, including all the staff, are what makes these two offices so great. I’m so glad I found them & chose them!

Absolutely love Dr. Goren and her entire staff. Everyone is so friendly, professional and honest. She is the best dentist I have ever seen. I had seen another dentist who tried telling me I had six cavities and I was shocked and knew I had to get a second opinion. I saw Dr. Goren who informed me that I had none. Even if there is a questionable tooth, she always suggests watching it instead of taking immediate, maybe unnecessary, action. They are always able to accommodate me last minute if I have a concern and I could not be happier that I found such a great dental practice so close to me. I have recommended her office to a few coworkers and they have all been just as happy with their experience!

I get so anxious thinking about sitting in a dentist chair. It had been over three years since I last went to the dentist. It has been hard finding a dentist that I feel confident with. I recently started having pain in my teeth and found Dr. Goren online through my insurance carrier. I am relieved I came to see her. She was friendly, professional and made me feel welcomed. The front office staff and dental assistant Crystal are awesome! I think her husband is the endodontist who performed my root canal. My first root canal and I expected a lot more pain, but I don’t have pain. Most of my fears about a root canal are gone. Of course I asked a bunch of questions. You can tell both doctors care about there patients.

I never expected that I would be gushing about a dentist. I have a long history of disliking dentists and having a rotten time going to them. The reviews are what brought me in and it was even better that they take my insurance. I had a temp crown break and had one made for me rather quickly. I was used to being pressured to get my dental issues fixed but wasn’t even asked if I wanted to get it taken care of for good. I came back in and had the mold done for my front crown and had an extraction done also. My first extraction made me super nervous and I started to shake and cry a bit but both Dr. Goren and Crystal were very understanding and caring. They calmed me down and took the time to make sure I was completely numb before starting the work. I’ve gone back a few times to have my other issues taken care of but with MUCH less hesitation than I have ever had. I have had work done by both dentists and haven’t felt pressured, rushed, or not cared for by either of them. I still have a few things left to get done but I won’t fear it and shake the way I used to. I will never be able to let my guard down too much but I will not look for another dentist ever again. I will continue to come back even if I move out of state just for the great service, attitude, and atmosphere here. I will hop a plane just to make sure that I see the same people and that for me says a lot. I have referred a few people who have the same deeply rooted fear of the dentist and all have come back saying positive comments. There is a reason why both Dr. Valentina Goren and Dr. Michael Goren have gotten such great reviews. You should go in for a visit to see why.

I was fed up with my previous dentist, and finally decided to look for a new practice. Given her Yelp reviews and the fact that her office was close to home, I thought I’d give Dr Valentina Goren and Apex dental a try. I was assuming it would take longer than one visit for me to find a new dentist, but fortunately I was wrong! Dr Goren is both personable and professional. I was very pleasantly surprised when she actually did my cleaning herself. She has done several fillings for me as well, and I haven’t felt an ounce of pain during or after the procedures. Her staff is also very pleasant and has managed to accommodate my somewhat ridiculous schedule every time I needed an appointment. If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further!

I was highly recommended to Dr. Goren and upon my arrival I felt as I walked into a spa, I had a sense of ease. I was brought in right away and I was extremely relaxed as I sat down on the heated/message dental chairs. The office was very clean and updated. I received great service and found Dr. Gorens work to be of superior quality.  Dr. Goren was graceful, gentle and respectful about my care as she performed her gum-gardening and tooth-carpentry.  After not seeing a dentist over two years I felt a bit guilty and embarrassed about my hygiene, thankfully I was not scolded  🙂 Her assistant Crystal was outstanding, she made sure my mouth was clean and dry at all times as Dr. Goren was performing a cleaning.  Her receptions Sarah was very professional and clearly explained what my insurance covered. I was very satisfied with my experience and have already scheduled my next six month cleaning. Thank you Dr. Goren and staff.

Dr. Goren is amazing and very patient with kids. I have 2 girls and my youngest is terrified of the dentist, we’ve had a bad experience before at another office in North Hollywood. As a mother I was a little worried walking in to Dr. Goren’s office but the front desk staff was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. I was able to walk back with my youngest and be there for support but she did great because the Dr was very friendly and walked her through every step before she did it. We will definitely be coming back to Dr. Goren!

Dr Valentina Goren is an amazing doctor who cares deeply about her patients well being. She takes time to listen, pays attention to the smallest details and carefully analyzes each case, which brings excellent results in return. I had a very expensive dental work done at my now x-dentist’s Beverly Hills office a little over a year before I met Dr Valentina for cleaning, shortly after she opened the Sherman Oaks office near my house. During that whole year, ever since completion of my dental work, I was suffering in silence from a very painful teeth sensitivity to hot and cold which wasn’t getting better with time. My dentist kept saying that everything is fine and it’ll go away….eventually. I just needed to be patient. Dr Valentina however took a different approach. She listened to my complains, carefully examined my teeth and took a series of x-rays. The root cause was obvious as even I could see it on the x-ray. One of the new crowns didn’t fit at the bottom and exposed the root surface! Sadly I would never know the truth if it wasn’t for Dr Valentina’s diligence and integrity. I went back to my dentist and he replaced the ill-fitted crown for free, which most likely was the reason he didn’t say anything to me in a first place! Needless to say that my whole family became good patients of Dr’s Valentina and Michael. Thank you, Dr Valentina for your integrity, care and commitment to excellence!

I am the type that when I find a great dentist or doctor, I stick with them regardless of the distance. Since finding Apex Dental, I have moved around a couple of times and have never missed any of my check ups. This is the best dental office I have ever been to. The staff is super friendly and I actually look forward to coming in so I can catch up with everybody. Dr. Valentina Goren is a fantastic dentist and is very honest and helpful in showing me how to take care of my teeth. I am happy to say that since coming here and following her advice my teeth have never looked better. Getting to watch Netflix in a massage chair while you wait sets the tone for what is always a pleasant experience.

What a relief! I just got home from my first appointment here for a cleaning and it was nothing less than amazing. I got there early, filled out the paperwork on an iPad and still had what I thought was 10 mins to burn until my appt time, so I made a coffee on their fancy machine (delicious black coffee btw). I didn’t get to finish it until my walk home, since they took me in early to get my X-rays. I have tori on my bottom jaw, so X-rays can be a bit discomforting, but the woman who took them was very careful. My last dentist kept trying to get me to make an appointment for some work, but this dentist didn’t see anything needing attention and gave me the most gentle cleaning I’ve ever had all while I watched tv and relaxed in the massage chair. I hate when dentists just that ultrasonic device, but she used the old fashioned way of cleaning each tooth gently with whatever that metal scraper is called and the dental hygienist finished with the flossing and polishing. Everything done in much less than an hour. I’ll definitely be seeing them again in six months. What a relief it is to find a good, comfortable dentist! Update 2 years later: Still going here, still happy, and still haven’t needed anything done to my teeth.

I’ve been a client since Dr. Goren opened her first office on Victory Blvd and underwent regular treatments like cleaning, X-rays, fillings, and more serious ones. I had dentists before and had never had such good hands treating me before. You don’t feel any pain from the moment you open your mouth for a shot. She would always explain you everything before, all the options, and you can make an intelligent decision. Dr. Goren never tries to up-sell you on an expensive treatment. After Dr. Valentina opened her new office on Ventura Blvd this past spring, it is even more convenient and way more nice: plenty of parking in the back, modern state-of-the-art dental equipment, massaging chairs, TVs in every room and waiting area, surrounding that pleases your eye. There is another point: if you need a specialist (endodontist), you don’t have to go too far, Dr. Michael Goren is right there for the toughest job you might need. Anyway, if you want to loose fear of a dentist and have the best experience, go and see it for yourself.
