I started going to Appolon Dental Group months ago and it is by far the best experience I’ve had with a dentist to date. The office is beautiful, the staff is attentive and diligent, and Dr. Appolon is always so welcoming that I often forget that I’m even at the dentist’s office. Dr. Appolon or Dr. Karty as she likes to be called is by far the best dentist I’ve ever visited. Her office is modern, but cozy, and does its best to help you forget you are at the dentist. I was most impressed by her knowledge of modern dentistry. I got the feeling that she was up on the latest trends more so than my former dentist who was well in his 60’s. New machinery (star trek inspired I’m sure) and good old bedside manner, made me feel like I was getting top notch care. Being in the financial (yes still with a job) field, her hours are accommodating to someone with a hectic schedule. If you are person who wants quality service, cares about how you look, drops off your laundry (jk, but really) and want to be treated like the CFO you will be, Dr. Karty Appolon is your best bet. Dr Appolon has been instrumental in helping me improve my dental hygiene through the use of additional flossing / an electric toothbrush / a perio tray. Dr. Karthilde Appolon is the best dentist I have ever been to. This is a top-notch, full-service dental office staffed by really great people, conveniently located, in a new, clean, state-of-the-art office. When I first started seeing Dr. Appolon about 5 years ago, I had problems with several botched crowns, inserted crooked so they were chipping off teeth opposite. After catching an active infection, Dr. Appolon was able to set me on a plan to correct my bite with Invisalign and replace every tooth in my mouth with sparkling crowns. I’ve seen first-hand how Dr. Appolon adopts new and revolutionary practices, always state-of-the-art, including electrical stimulation (tensing) to relax the jaw, and NuCalm which promotes healing and simulates meditation. Dr. Appolon is extremely detail-oriented, taking as much time as necessary to get everything perfect. Which means it’s not fast, but it’s done right. Some of my teeth required root canals – Dr. Appolon referred me to an incredible doctor for that. I needed a couple of extractions and implants. Dr. Appolon referred me to an amazing surgeon. Now that my full reconstruction is complete Dr. Appolon has provided a night guard, so my grinding won’t destroy all our work. Besides routine scaling, Dr. Appolon has me using trays with Perio-Gel to actively prevent infection. And the office worked with me to obtain financing, processed all insurance claims and generally has been a place I look forward to going, rather than dreading. Appolon Dental Group has helped me so much. I’m blessed to be in such good hands.

I want to begin by saying Dr. Appolon and her team are exceptional in every way. The moment I entered her practice I was at ease by the friendly staff and appreciated the attention to detail in cleanliness. I went to her in a state of desperation as I had a prior dentist who didn’t understand my needs and was not doing cleanings properly. I had a a series of gum issues, black buildup, and several other areas that needed immediate attention. Dr. Appolon and her team took extensive photos. She then detailed what procedures were needed. She also presented an in depth video of friendly and hygienic solutions that would steer my dental journey in the right direction. What really separates her from other dentist is the level of comfort she provides to her patients. They have the latest and most innovative relaxation music that is administered with headsets along with a pillow to help ease the cleansing process. I don’t know about you but I have never been to a dental office where they offered pillows. I now get so many compliments on my teeth and I haven’t even finished the work I want done. Thank you Dr. Appolon! If you were wondering if this office is for you I strongly suggest not wasting your time and looking for anyone else, simply make an appointment. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Appolon is a very good dentist and caring too. I know my teeth need dental work. But I kept delaying to see a dentist because of the past unpleasant experience with some dentist in NYC and their “surprising” charges in the bill mailed to me afterwards. It’s all changed after I visited Dr. Appolon who treated my sensitive teeth with extra care and communicated fees to be charged in advance with no confusion. Her office is clean and cozy. Shortly after I arrived, I was lead to the dental chair. Right away Dr. Appolon was there and everything was ready. During the entire treatment session, she proceed with extreme care to handle my many sensitive teeth. I felt relaxed by her calming voice and even those drills were less scary. She didn’t rush just to get the work done. Instead she took pauses to make sure everything was ok and I was feeling comfortable. I know from now on my teeth are in the capable hands of a caring dentist – Dr. Appolon.

I really don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about but I love Dr Appolon. In fact, i’ve changed my insurance plans in order to continue seeing her and have been her patient for over two years. I’ve also recommended several friends to go see her and they love the experience as well. Anyone who reads my other reviews knows that i won’t go back to places on principles if i’m treated poorly, even if the food/service was good. So for me to give a full 5 and rave about her, its the truth!! She’s super gentle, she and her assistants (hi symone, christian) are very nice. I’ve never had a bad time with them. I have had a history of teeth issues, too much citrus for me and not enough flossing before i saw her, but i now floss all the time and after all the initial fixes, the rest of my visits have been clean check ups! no more cavities, fingers crossed, see below. the reason why i finally wrote a review after 2+ years and falling a bit off the review wagon, is because i’ve recently had a recurring tooth ache despite a clean check up. called her office for an appointment and she got on the phone and asked me a bunch of questions to see if we could diagnose it over the phone. When i asked for a saturday appointment bc of work, she gently suggested i come in today (thursday) so she could get the best opinion and rearranged her personal schedule to make sure she could see me. MAJOR PROPS!!

Great experience! For the cleaning she performed herself- very through and gentle. It was very easy to made another appointment 2 days later to have a filling that had been bothersome for months.
