I have been going to see Dr. Scott and his team at Arbor Dental Group for almost 10 years and they have consistently provided me with the best care for my teeth. Going to the dentist is never an enjoyable experience but they make it as easy as they can for you. Everyone in the office is kind and always has a smile on their face. Their hygienists clean your teeth with care and gentleness, without compromising on quality. Phuong has been my hygienist for all the years I have been at this group and while he is retiring soon, I am confident that his follow hygienists are as capable and skilled as he is. Having to go through crowns and other procedures with them, I can confidently say that Dr. Scott and his team are experts at their work and try to make every visit, no matter what procedure you’re there for, as comfortable as possible. They don’t try to make you do more than necessary and will always go over exactly what procedure you are therefore while answering all of your questions with patience. They have great bedside manner. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

The courteous and professional service I received at this appointment was the same consistent service I have been receiving from Dr. Scott Watanabe and his staff for the past 8+ years. Renee who handles the insurance and co-pay details is excellent. From the first appointment I had to this one in October, Renee provides clear accounting of the charges and options on how to proceed. I appreciate her and her advice very much. Dr. Scott Watanabe is also an excellent provider. At every appointment, he listens to my descriptions carefully and provides easy to understand options. I have received service from several of the staff at Arbor Dental and I can only say everyone has provided excellent service at every appointment. I have been going to this dentist for more than 20 years and am happy to remain with them. I started with Dr. Ron and am now seeing his son, Dr. Scott. I just finished having 3 previous crowns replaced along with cavities filled and I was pleasantly impressed when they were all done sooner than the anticipated time frame. I have always found the staff helpful and Renee is on top of the insurance and billing process. I have my teeth cleaned 4 times a year and even though I am basically a chicken around dental things (and I’m a nurse!) I find the treatments calm with minimal discomfort. That extra special pat on the arm or remembering I need the pediatric block make all the difference.

The Arbor Dental Group is an awesome practice. I have been going to this practice for 10 years plus and this is my very first review. First off i hate the shot… it hurts, its scary, it sucks i just don’t like it! and well i needed one… the assistants both Linda and Lynn prepared me for the shots on different occasions and to my surprise Dr. Scott and (other doctor) both had to give me a shot… to get me numb and to my surprise it was the most gentle shot i have ever had. Dr. Scott has great hands and talked me through the injection helping me to overcome my fear that he didn’t even know i had. The rest of the procedure was top notch and i never felt a thing. I left the office feeling great and knew from the very first time that i would return for all of my dentistry work. This office has state of the art technology and they were able to look at my teeth and find any imperfections and diagnose the issues with ease which i have never experienced in 48 years of going to the dentist. I was so impressed with the work I needed i even did an Invisalign treatment which only took 1 year. For cleanings this place is the best hands down. Every hygienist in this establishment catered to my sensitive teeth due to my gum recession and got my cleaning done without any torture, i love this establishment and highly recommend it to anyone. From the time you meet the nice front office staff to the time you check out with the office manager Renee they will treat you like family and will take care of you your teeth and a beautiful smile.

I have been going to Arbor Dental for years! Their services are amazing. I live pretty far, and can’t pull myself to transfer somewhere closer to home because they are so wonderful. Arbor Dental and its staff is the reason why I keep coming back for these past 10+ years. And now having moved to Riverside county, I still gladly make my regular dental checkups with Dr Scott and regular cleanings with Phuong. Dr Scott has done an amazing job making my smile what is it today. And takes great care and concern with the health of my teeth every checkup. Phuong is very diligent when it comes to my teeth cleaning, I always leave with very clean feeling teeth. (Plus he was the one that FINALLY got me to floss every night! – because you know everyone hates flossing). Linda is great, very friendly she makes me feel at home, even if I am sitting in the dental chair getting X-rays with that heavy lead vest crushing me. She has a very calming persona, which is a plus when there are patients who are deathly afraid of going to the dentist. Also, every time I walk right in for an appointment, I am always greeted with a smile from Renee. She knows her insurances and is great at explaining payments and coverage. You can’t go wrong choosing Arbor Dental. They are all wonderful and will get you that smile you’ve always wanted.

I love to this dental office. office is clean and neat, all the staff who work here is professional. What is most I like about is office open from 7 AM in the weekday. My whole family goes to Dr. Watanabe and we love the entire office. All the staff are so friendly and really try to get to know their patients. They recognize us when we walk in the door and ask follow-up questions from conversations we had when we came in 6 months before. Visits are really easy; they aren’t rude if you aren’t perfect about your dental hygiene, and they really listen when you express any concerns or issues you’ve had. I walk in right at my appointment time with no hassle. I’ve never had to wait more than a couple minutes to be taken back, and someone comes in as soon as I’ve been seated. Headsets and a remote for watching cable television while you get your teeth cleaned, and they follow-up with a reminder card if you can’t book your next appointment that day. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else!

I think they are easily 5 stars in every way. I appreciate the courteous greeting and prompt service when you enter (nobody wants to wait long for the dentist). The dentist (Dr. Scott) actually listens to your concerns and explains things in way that can be easily understood. I have been going to Arbor Dental Group for 20 years and I have never thought about going to another dentist. Dr. Scott Watanabe is an incredible dentist and extremely nice. I believe his father started the practice and I’m sure he used to be my dentist before Scott became my primary. It’s a family business and you can tell they really take care of both their staff and clients. Renee, the receptionist, is very warm and friendly and always has the perfect smile. Her teeth are pearly white too. I have had Phuong and Suzie as my dental hygienist and I like them both. Everyone does an exceptional job. I don’t think I’ve ever waited for more than 5 min to be seen, which is great! I always try to schedule my appointments early or late in the day so I don’t have to take too much time off of work and they are always so accommodating.

Arbor Dental Group is the best dental office I’ve ever visited. When I say best, I mean the best in every single way. Best service, best care, best doctors, best hygienists, and best office admins! I’ve never had a dental appointment so pleasant, detailed and gentle in my past 23 years until Arbor Dental Group. My hygienist, Phuong was very detailed and caring. Making sure I get the best cleaning and care he can provide. I had my exam performed by Dr. Scott. He was the most gentle doctor I’ve ever had. I felt pain-free during the exam and reassured me as I addressed my concerns. Renee, the office admin in the front office was very helpful as she takes care of all patient’s financial/insurance information. She made sure that I get the most out of my insurance without paying too much out of my pocket. I highly recommend Arbor Dental Group. I have been seeing the Arbor Dental group for about 30 years now, and I highly recommend them for all your dental needs. The office itself is very convenient to the Orange County area, based in Irvine. I was a resident of the city and now I am about 30 minutes away and still highly willing to make the commute.
Their initial space is very welcoming, and very clean. The receptionist desk is spotless & organized, and the staff with all smiles greets you in with open arms. They even go out of their way to get to know you on a personal level, so that every visit is a special one. They continuously advance their equipment to ensure you have the best care possible, and on top-of it have the most gentle steady hands that you need when getting work done. Every member of their staff is beyond professional, not only in the line of their work but in the way the atmosphere is set, leaving you feeling a sigh of relief knowing you are in good hands.
Granted I have been with this practice for most of my life, it is also the reason why I would not want to have someone else taking care of my oral hygiene. I trust them, and I plan to be here for as long as they are.
Who would of thought that even at five years of age I would still be carrying around this incredible smile and I have the Arbor Dental Group of Irvine to thank for it.

I have to start by saying that I am very anxious when it comes to anything with dental work. I avoided going for years due to the fact that the last place I went to had no sympathy for someone like me – I had an anxiety attack while there and it was ignored.
My journey to The Arbor Dental Group started by me meeting Renee – she was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable and assured me that my experience with them would be different. After getting numerous very strong recommendations from my colleagues and their families in our university community, I have been coming to Arbor for many years and have been extremely happy for all the work that were done. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Scott when my husband required some emergency procedures due to a broken tooth. Dr. Scott is awesome! He has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered at a dentist office. You can barely even feel it when he is examining you, a definite plus if you have a hard time at the dentist. Gentle, attentive, helpful…all great ways to describe Dr. Scott. Beyond the physical care provided, the practice is extremely upfront, honest, and transparent about what is going on and what your options are. I found Arbor Dental because of a bad experience at a different dentist office. I had never needed any dental work prior to few years ago which coincided with starting to go to that other dentist. I ended up following the dentists recommendations and spent an excessive amount of time and money doing what he said was necessary. Regardless of what he fixed there was always something else that “had” to be fixed. I felt very taken advantage of and stopped going there, unsure of how I would trust another dentist. Enter Arbor Dental and Dr. Scott! On my first visit, i asked a ton of questions and they put me at ease telling me that they would always provide me with all my options and explain fully what was going on. I’ve been a patient of Arbor Dental since I was 12, (and now in my 40’s) Now my kids and husband are all patients! Dr. Watanabe (Ron and Scott) and their entire team of doctors, assistants, hygienists, and office personnel are all exceptional with their expertise and care.
2 things I look for with any profession is quality and integrity. This office delivers on both! Exceptional, thorough care, who take their time with every patient. I’ve NEVER questioned any diagnosis or services they’ve suggested. The quality of work is as good as it gets.
I always request Phoung to handle my cleanings. He is VERY THOROUGH in his work. He always takes the time to explain things. If he suggests anything additional with the cleaning, he fully explains everything before proceeding.
Renee the office manager is great too. She is friendly, full of energy, and very knowledgeable. She explains the treatment plan in great detail, and is on top of insurance matters.
If you wait till the last minute to try to make appointments, it’s sometimes hard to get in right away, but they are VERY good about putting you on a call list if something comes up. And if they have an opening with a different doctor, no need to worry that you will be in good hands.
