I Love this dentist. These are not words that i thought i would ever say. This dentist is knowledgeable and caring and goes over and above to explain everything while he works on you pain free. He also has the latest equipment. When i came in for my appointment for a filling, It turned out that my cavity was almost to the nerve and therefore necessary to do a root canal. At that moment Dr quickly worked on it and saved me from going back again. Dr. Magat worked on my front broken tooth and repaired and sent it out for a replacement all while giving me a temporary so that i was not toothless. His assistants are also great. They work hard and are very helpful. They also make us comfortable, alongside with the doctor. The front office staff are efficient, hardworking and also caring. Everyone here is super kind and thorough. i get follow up text reminders, if i desire to. They accept PPO and EPO insurance as full payment. i will continue coming here so that they can work on my other dental issues that need attention. i would recommend this dentist to everyone. The only downfall is that if everyone comes than it will be hard for me to get an appointment. Its not good for me to be selfish though.

This past weekend I was in excruciating pain and was able to get a last minute appointment on Saturday. I was seen promptly and the staff was extremely kind and took great care of me. Dr. Alex took the time to look thoroughly and end explain exactly what I was experiencing. Unfortunately I had to have a dreaded root canal. Dr. Alex made sure that it was painless and quick! He is great!

We travel far (from Northridge to be exact) just to go to Dr Magat’s office. Not only can you rely on the best care, they are welcoming,trustworthy, and they are really good at what they do. I can’t ask for a better dentist and an awesome crew to make sure we are getting the best dental hygiene. My three little ones look forward to their visits twice a year.

I will never recommend this Dental Office to anybody!! After waiting an hour for our scheduled appointment, we were called in by a dental assistant to let us know that my son can only have an x-ray because they overbooked and they will not be able to do the exam. And as a courtesy, they’ll give us an appointment which will never going to wait again. Yeah right!!! What is the guarantee!!

We first opened our doors in 2000, and we're looking forward to many more years of smiles ahead. Skill. Experience. Personalized care. These are the three qualities of a good dentist, and Dr. Alex Magat is the perfect example. He started in the Philippines as a graduate from Centro Escolar University with a degree in DMD in 1988. In 1992, Dr. Magat moved to the United States and shortly after, passed the board and received his license to practice in 1995. For five years, he worked as an associate dentist with a family practice in San Gabriel, California, where he developed his skills and experience in general dentistry. In 2000, he started his own practice in Arcadia, California with a desire to focus on patient care on a more personalized level. His growing passion for the profession and dedication to patients inspired him to expand on his expertise by going through extensive training on implant dentistry in 2006, and since then, has done hundreds of successful implant cases. Today, he continues his service by performing even other procedures from oral surgeries to sinus lifts.
