I’ve been seeing Dr. Patel for about three years now. The service has always been professional and proper. The staff has always been friendly and I’ve never had an issue. They always explains the process and I appreciate that. No matter where I have lived, this dentist office has still been my go to spot living in Arizona. As long as I live in Arizona, I will be a client of Doctor Patel’s

PROS: The quality of care seems high. I have been to many dentists, and Dr. Patel is careful and detailed. Parking is easy. It is usually easy to get an appointment, and they are open some Saturdays. I chose this dentist, since I had been a patient at Sonoran Smile, within the same building. Based on observations, the dentist and his assistants seemed efficient and friendly. I switched to this place from a place I had been going for over seven years. CONS: Maybe this is just me and my 10 years of work in the healthcare field, but I find it odd that *no one* really greets me after being seated in the back. When I arrived at a recent appointment, no hello (do they even know my name? I do not know!), just “what tooth is it?” from the dentist. I had this odd feeling they were annoyed I was there (hey, I paid the full amount, based on the cost at the end and made my appointment in a normal manner). I also said I could come back another day for a longer procedure (if my being there was so annoying!). A bit curt IMO. I guess as long as the work is done well, it does not matter, but I see many healthcare providers and am one myself (I have a PhD in nutrition and work in healthcare). I never know any of the assistants’ names, because no one introduces herself. I see specialists for various other health reasons, and people generally get to know me or at least say hi. Even my eye doc who sees me just once a year can remember a few things about me. I’m not asking for that, but at least a hello or introductions, etc. I’m going to blame it on a Monday; perhaps people were grumpy, since it was Monday or had a bad weekend.

Dr. Patel was amazing! Had several fillings and my wisdom tooth removed and I dental feel a thing and was able to watch Netflix the entire time. Excellent pain management. I would absolutely go back and would recommend any and everyone to have a consult with Dr. Patel. Great bed side manner

Dr. Patel and his entire staff are very professional but most importantly they are nice, genuine people. My appointments are always on time. I appreciate that so much. From my experience, it’s hard to find any dental, vision or medical office that meets appointment times with the patients. This is as valuable to me as the level of service provided. Dr. Patel and his hygienists are gentle, efficient and provide excellent service.

I love Dr Patel and every single employee, hygienist and the office manager, all awesome, on every single visit for last 7 years, easy reasonable and dr patel is caring and articulate I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve lived in several countries, 4 other states and countless cities This is she best dentist of all. I’ve moved to Scottsdale, from Phx/ Arcadia and I hate driving, but I don’t mind to have peace of mind! Tooth fairy be gone 🙂 Dr Patel is the bomb

I absolutely love the team at Arcadia Dental Group- I have been a patient for going on 2 plus years and every visit has been a good experience. Numerous cleanings, a crown, a root canal and a repair to cracked tooth, which another dentist was unable to fix correctly, Dr. Patel put a cap in place that has remained now for years, and he really stands behind his work.  Dr Patel has excellent chair-side manner, he is straight forward and I trust the recommendations he makes.  Each and every other staff member has shown me the same consistently.  All the dental hygienist are awesome!!! …..  and their front of house management team is patient and helpful in assisting with billing insurance and setting up cash/out of pocket rates. As I’ve now done both.  It’s nice not dreading something as important as your next dentist visit!

Fantastic dentist, I’ve never actually enjoyed going to a dentist before I started going to this one! Everything was quick, easy, and painless! Furthermore, the staff will go above and beyond to make sure your treatment is affordable, or free. They will be clear and open with you about what your insurance will cover, what it won’t cover, and how long it’ll take to wait for a authorization charge. I highly recommend this dentist, if you’ve ever had a problem with a dentist before I feel Dr. Patel will not disappoint!

It was only my consultation/xrays appt, but I really like how gentle & kind he was. I hadn’t been to dentist in yrs due to extreme fears,and as such, I was worried about being judged on the state of my teeth. He was very understanding, talked me through the upcoming procedures, and where we want to be in the future(as far as the health of my teeth go). The assistants were very kind and empathetic, they made me feel at ease immediately. This will be my new dentist for sure.
