Took my daughter for her first ever dentist visit. From the time she walked in the door they did everything they could to put her at ease and make it fun for her. Dr. Soo and his staff were wonderful. After her visit was over she asked when she was going back. If you have children I highly recommend them.

We love Arcadia Pediatric, Dr. So, and the staff! Everyone is so friendly and professional. They are so wonderful with kids. Both of our girls come here and love it. The office is super clean and kid friendly. They do a great job with teeth cleaning and making the kids feel comfortable during the cleaning. Dr. So is very thorough with the exam. He will check each tooth, the bite, the alignment, any wear, etc. After the exam, he explains everything to the parent(s) in detail, and provides recommendations, possible/future procedures, what to look out for, and more. He genuinely cares for his patients and ensures that he will watch over the kids as they grow up. We have also come to the office during the pandemic. They did such a great job with making us feel comfortable and safe. Check in is from car first. Front area is sanitized before each family enters. Waiting room is empty. Temperature and oxygen levels of parents and children are checked. All staff wear face masks, face shields, and gloves. You will definitely feel safe. The office always gives a toy to each child after their visit. Before the pandemic, it was like a treasure chest to choose from. Post pandemic, the kids choose from a picture and the nurse will get the prize for the child. Well done! Note: Cleaning for toddlers begin at 3 years of age. However, if your kid is close to 3 and you’re certain he/she will stay still, they can potentially do the cleaning before 3. Babies and young toddlers under 3 involve an exam with child on parents lap.

Dr. Eddie So is a true blessing! I sought a new dentist after my 3 year-old daughter was screaming due to a toothache, and her dentist was unable to be reached. I researched dentists and stumbled upon Dr. So. My daughter walked into his office, and I was amazed that he even got her to open her mouth! No coaxing or bribes! He simply used his charm and his sense of humor. I truly believe that it was the environment and Dr. So’s caring nature that she perceived. It was amazing to see my daughter at peace in a dentist’s chair! It was a huge contrast to visits with her past dentist. I would have to sit in the chair with her, and she would refuse to open her mouth. I’m embarrassed to say that I had to hold her head back and mouth open her mouth for the dentist to even get a peek. Dr. So took care of the toothache and performed all of the needed work. Due to her age, amount of work, her past experiences, and fear from visits with our other dentist, she needed to be put to sleep to have the work done on her teeth. It was a tough choice, but it was a smooth process. Dr. So and his staff reassured me of the process and made it comfortable for my daughter. I was able to hold her as they gave her a shot, and she became drowsy. Needless to say, we decided he was a keeper! She is now 10, and she is never fearful to sit in that chair. My older son is also his patient. The office staff is cheerful, and his office has a jungle theme that is not overly stimulating. There are tvs on the ceiling as work is performed, but my kids are engaged by the staff’s conversation. Take it from this overly cautious parent when I say that Dr. So is a gem with a vocation for dentistry.

Dr. Eddie is patient and gentle with my sons during check ups and cleanings.  Really impressed with how accommodating he and his staff are.  The office is always clean and fun.  We are fortunate to have found him.

My daughters used to be scared of the dentist and would cry when I put them on the chair. They’ve been happy ever since we switched to Dr. Eddie. The waiting room is nicely decorated with hanging monkeys and have video games for the kids to play with. The wait is usually very short so the girls don’t get to play too much. There are two sound-proof rooms on each side of the office which are good so screaming kids won’t scared other kids. I like that they have TV’s on the ceiling above the chairs. Kids can watch TV while they are getting their teeth clean. Dr. Eddie and the staff are great. They are very friendly and are good at making the kids comfortable. Dr. Eddie explains things very well to us and does a very good job. The girls get balloons and prizes, in additional to the toothpaste and toothbrush set every time. They are happy whenever I told them we are going to see Dr. Eddie. We’ve found our pediatric dentist and won’t go anywhere else.

Thank you Dr Eddie. My 8-yr old was traumatized by a dentist who definitely did not know how to handle kids. You and your staff gave her a different perception of dentist visit. At her first visit in March, my girl felt right at home right away. She loved the decoration throughout the office. The staff at the front desk made my girl feel like at home as she stepped in. Your assistant, Clara, was excellent. She talked to my girl as they had been friends for a long time. And for me.. WOW. my girl was in dentist office, and I do not need to hold her hand or the need to comfort her. When we need to make a follow-up appointment, my girl said she only wanted Dr. Eddie and no one else. She went on telling her friends and cousins on what a wonderful time she had at Dr. Eddie’s office. The follow-up appointment was 2 month later. My girl kept reminding me that she needs to go back on May 19. She was so excited when May 19 finally came. Yesterday, we returned. She was so excited. Clara attended to her again. My girl remembered her name, even I forgot her name. My girl now loves dentist visit. She wants to come back everyday. Thank you Dr. Eddie for making the dentist visit a pleasant, fun, and stress-free experience for me and my girl.

We bring our three ASD kids here to see Dr Alex.  The staff and Dr Alex have been remarkable to us.  They are patient and so kind to our kids.  Dr Alex explains everything to them and the staff works so hard to make our visit as easy as possible.  We appreciate their care so much and highly recommend them!

My oldest daughter (now 5 years old) had become traumatized of going to the dentist when we were taking her to Dr. Snare in Arcadia (about 2 years ago). When we moved her to Dr. Eddie So’s office she was nervous, but the nurses and Dr. So in particular were so kind and friendly that she quickly put her guard down. Dr. So explained everything he was doing in child friendly language and she didn’t even cry through the examination. Now she goes in to the exam room by herself and my two younger children love him as well. Whenever I tell her she has a dentist appointment she asks “are we going to the nice dentist?” and I tell her “yes, we we’re going to Dr. So” she get’s really happy and it’s now something she looks forward to. On a side note, I really also like how they send appointment reminders via text and email. Thanks Dr. So!

Dr. Eddie So is the best dentist. My daughter has been seeing him for 3 years. I wish he could see me, but he is a pediatric dentist. He is so nice and patient. He speaks perfect  Mandarin, Cantonese, English. His office is so fun, clean and neat. When my daughter was little, she didn’t want us to brush her teeth, but she is so good when she’s with Dr. So.  She never fussed or cried even when she got the fillings. Unbelievable. Highly recommend Dr. So.
