Nothing but great experiences at this dental practice! Everyone here is so nice. It’s a smaller practice and I love that it wasn’t super busy or loud. Gail in reception was super helpful and greeted me upon arrival. I had an exam done with Dr Andy because I had concern that I had cracked a filling. Dr Andy was very kind and knowledgeable. Kat, the dental assistant took my X-rays, also very kind and great to talk to. I love that they have screens to show you pictures of what they are looking at, not just X-rays, but actual photos of your teeth on a screen. I’ve never been to a dentist that does that. He did a great job explaining that some fillings placed by the OSU student clinic were done incorrectly and needed to be replaced. Tyler is who placed the new filling and he was great! I have high anxiety and am on the autistic spectrum. Tyler checked on me several times throughout the process and told me when he was switching instruments so I was prepared, also asked me if I needed breaks and answered any questions I had. I felt absolutely no pain throughout the whole process of getting 3 fillings replaced. I haven’t had a cleaning done yet, but I did get to speak to Tori and Kailey, the hygienists, for a brief moment before checking out. I have nothing but good things to say about the Grandview location, would recommend to anyone!

I never really write a review but I was compelled to about Arch City and my hygienist. I was a little anxious about my visit (not a fan of dentist visits). However I was greeted by the hygienist, Kailey and she was nothing short of wonderful, positive, and a true professional. Kailey was easy to talk to and full of positive energy. She made the long and daunting experience very easy, and I found myself looking forward to my next visit. Any patient that is able to have her as a hygienist is lucky and will have an easy time with the visit. Arch city as a whole is a great place to be and is filled with wonderful people. Being located in Grandview, the parking isn’t bad, especially with Covid19 happening. Everyone is nice and very helpful, especially the receptionist Gail. I never went to the dentist growing up, but when my molar shattered, they were able to install a crown, no problem! They answered any and all of my questions and are very easy to talk to. I, now, see them regularly for all my dental needs.

I came in to see Dr Baloy for the first time because I had a lot of pain. He went over my treatment plan and took the time to thoroughly explain what everything meant, what to expect and even made sure to ask all of my questions. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist so all of this meant a lot to me. When it came to my procedure I was not in any pain and Dr Baloy and Kat made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. This was the first time in a long time that I have felt comfortable going to a dentist. You can tell he really takes pride in what he does. Arch city dental is by far one of the best dentists in Columbus by far. Take it from me I recently moved to Columbus and did not have a dentist I trusted since I left home and no longer had access to my childhood dentist. But when I called Arch City Dental, I felt like I was back home dealing with my childhood dentist ( Keri at the front desk was super friendly and super helpful with getting me into see them). This is a nice spot if you need a general dentist. Appointments are prompt, and flexible if you miss your time. The exam and cleaning is done quickly and well, without that spiky water jet thing that might set off your sensitivity. Hygienists are friendly and welcoming. They’re honest about issues you may have (e.g. chronic rescission or staining) but don’t push interventions on you, and you can escape with no co pay if your teeth are indeed in good shape! It’s nice to hear some praise in that situation, too. The office looks new, clean, and comfortable. Check it out if you need a reliable straightforward dentist.

I was highly recommended to Arch City Dental by my periodontist in downtown Columbus. That was two years ago and I have been very happy with all staff members since my very first visit. More recently in December I had Bethany clean, polish, measured and recommended deep cleaning of two of my teeth. She is very gentle in the cleaning and polishing. She also explained everything to me as she worked. Also that because I have some issues with two teeth recently she recommended in having them deep cleaned. They will numb the two tooth area and then clean below the gum line. I will have the deep cleaning done in January. That will hopefully prevent more issues with those two in the future. I’m all about prevention and I think Brittany is also. I highly recommend Arch City Dental at either office.

I feel that I need to take the time to write a review of my dentist to try to convey how awesome the whole office is. When I was finally out of the clutches of OSU student health, and looking for a dentist of my own I had a sneaking suspicion that I had approximately 75 cavities (at least). I went to the googles in search of someone able to handle my multiple dental issues. I saw that Dr. Baloy was the team dentist for the Columbus Blue Jackets, and looked no further. I figured if he could handle hockey mouths, I’d be no problem. From the very beginning, I felt welcome in the office. The staff is SO nice, and no one judged me for having at least one cavity in each quadrant of my mouth (sure they gently suggested perhaps I should learn to floss, but it’s their job!). Dr. Baloy did a fantastic job tackling the cavities, and referring me to an endodontist AND a periodontist (I’m telling you, my oral hygiene is not that bad, it’s genetics!) when needed. The office is set up to be very open and airy and there are lovely photographs to stare at while you’re waiting for your gums to get numb. To summarize – Very nice, professional staff; great service; bright and clean office. It makes going to the dentist not that bad after all.

I have recently become a patient at Arch City Dental and I have had an excellent experience so far. Specifically with Tika, Tyler and Bruce when having some fillings done. Tika is so easy to talk to and seems to truly make sure her patients are comfortable when they are in the chair. Arguably the worst part of dental work is the injection of the numbing medication however when working with Dr. Bruce that is not the case! It was a totally pain free experience. They take the time to make sure everything is done right. Tyler finished up my fillings and made extra sure that everything came together properly so I would have to worry about additional pain after the medication wore off. He ensured that if I did feel any pain it would be a quick and easy fix! Overall this is one of the most positive experiences I’ve with a dentist (and there have been many) I can’t say enough about how wonderful Arch City Dental is and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone I know!

I have been going to Arch City Dental since before they had that name… over 30 years and THEY’RE THE BEST! I needed extensive dental work (16+ crowns because of bad malocclusion after 5 years of adult orthodontics). Every single crown remains perfectly intact to this day!
