Thank you Dr. Frankenberger for giving me my smile back. I have been afraid to go to the dentist for way too long, and I was recommended to Dr. Frankenberger by a friend. He is not only a gentle dentist but also not one to rush you or make you feel like he is is selling you something. I would recommend him to anyone I know looking for great dentist at an affordable price.

He is the best. A true old fashioned dentist. They don’t make em’ like this anymore unfortunately. But we are fortunate enough to have Dr. Frankenberger around still!! If you see a Norman Rockwell painting of a dentist , that is basically Dr. Frankenberger. He is so kind and gentle. He is the opposite of a car salesman which in my opinion is what most dentists are like these days. He does the opposite of try to sell you on getting work done, as a matter of fact he told me “no you have time, you don’t need to get that done now , maybe in a year or two.” hahahaha His prices are super reasonable. I always pay with cash so maybe that’s why it’ so reasonable? I’m not too sure . Love this man!!

Dr. Frankenberger is such a great Dentist and all around great guy! I started going to him several years ago and then moved away, so I used a new dentist. My insurance changed and I was sent to a total and complete scam Dentist where I live. They told my husband and I that we needed over $5,000 worth of dental work. Ridiculous things like pulling out fillings that didn’t need to be re-filled, etc. We both went down (40 miles away) to Dr. Frankenberger. He looked at the information from the other dentist and confirmed what I had thought, it was all a scam for profit. $90 later, we were on our way back on the 405 North. He’s phenomenal. He has a small office, directly across from NHHS and he is pretty much a one man show! He has not Dental Assistant. He cleans your teeth, he does it all. It’s just so incredibly awesome! You should check him out!

Dr. Frankenberger has been my dentist since my first tooth. He’s actually worked on everyone in my family! He’s a very nice guy, un-assuming, polite, and gentle. As others reviewers mention, he’s not one to have you do a bunch of x-rays or whatever if you don’t want them or feel any issues. He’s definitely not one to try and pry your wallet open: he just wants to make sure you are comfortable and your teeth are in good order. I remember being in middle school and asking “Do you think I need braces? All the other kids have them.” His response: “Nah, I think your teeth are pretty good as they are. Why….do you want them?!” Hahah! How many dentists today would say that! Even when I was without dental insurance as a poor grad student living out of state, he gave me some good cash discounts so I could still get cleanings done when I was home for Xmas. Just a nice man and a great dentist. Once upon a time, I saw another dentist closer to my house twice and it was just…not good: hustling you for $, terrifying you, being unfriendly, etc. Once you see Dr. Frankenberger, he’s hard to beat. If you are nervous about seeing a dentist, he’d be the one to see!

I can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Frankenberger. I use to have a phobia about going to dentists until I went to him. He is so kind, gentle and honest. I had the same experience as the previous reviewer. My insurance sent me to a dentist that wouldn’t touch my teeth without a deep cleaning $$$$ and wanted to replace all my fillings…. seriously. Talk about deep pockets. I have found it is cheeper to pay for Dr. Frankenbergers services out of my pocket rather than go through my insurance with another dentist. When my son visits me from Aspen he goes to Dr. Frankenberger too. I hope he never retires.

A very friendly patient dentist!! Located in a residential area in Newport Beach.
Convenient Saturday hours! Unlike my old dentist….. Does not try and sell you things you don’t need to hike up the insurance bill. He believes x-rays aren’t needed if you aren’t having any issues! And which x-rays aren’t very good for us.
I went in for a check up and cleaning. Where my former dentist made you receive x-rays before they even touch your teeth!
