I cannot give enough praise to Dr. Kanani and his staff. We moved to them from another dental office which overcharged and underwhelmed. Dr. K treated me with respect, got me right in, worked out a payment plan for my implants, and was honest about the condition of my teeth and how to get them better. I then made an appointment for my girls and husband and event my husband was impressed (hard to do). He said it had been a while since he had felt comfortable with a dentist and that this indeed was our new family dentist. He was sweet and kind with my two girls, evaluated them (no cavities!) and told me what their teeth told about their diet (vitamin D deficiency). I felt confident that he really cared about our family. Plus, there is an office dog- can not go wrong with that!!

Literally this Dr. Kaveh and his staff are amazing. This dentist is phenomenal and throughly explains and physically shows you what’s going on with your teeth. But he isn’t just a dentist who gives me a check up. Dr. Kaveh is s genuine person who truly cares about how his patients are doing in their health lives and personal lives. Today during my regular check up appointment I explained to them that my brother had not been in to see a dentist in 6 years and that his gums were swollen and purple. They instantly urged me to call him and said they would stay open later just to see him! In the end I pushed my brother into coming and now they’re going to see him even though they’re supposed to be closed. I cannot thank them enough for helping my brother and helping me take care of our teeth! Love Dr. Kaveh and his great staff! Highly recommend!

My boyfriend always spoke highly of his dentist, Dr. Kanani, since he was pretty much redoing his entire mouth due to previous failed dental work he got done in the Army dental program. So when the moment came when I had some tooth pain and needed a deep cleaning I knew where to go. From the first moment I walked in the office I felt very relaxed and welcomed. The environment was very spa-like. They even have a massage chair in the waiting room! 🙂 Dr Kanani and his staff were very respectful and polite through the initial paperwork process. When I met Dr. K he was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Throughout all my procedures his goodwill, sense of humor and artful skill made it a fun experience, which is something people cannot normally say about going to the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Kanani and his staff Nancy, Blanca and Vanessa for any dental need.

I have spent my whole life terrified of the dentist. So much so that I let half a tooth sit in my mouth for years, put up with pain and hard time chewing just so I wouldn’t have to go in. Well one day that all came to a head when the remaining piece broke and I was desperate. Looked up dentists in my area and I called Dr. K. They fit me in that day. It had to be pulled and I was mortified,  I waited a few days and went back and did the twilight sedation…best thing ever!!! Dr. K and his staff are amazing, I look forward to going in every time. They are so welcoming, funny and just overall caring. After that initial visit, I’ve had deep cleaning, fillings and now I’m going through the invisalign process. My husband is now seeing Dr. Kanani as well. One of my favorite things of going in to the office is seeing Hunter… what could be better than a Dentist that brings his pup in to work everyday??? Dr. K is awesome and we highly recommend him!

I had some serious dental work done in TJ around 10 years ago (eight crowns and one extraction), and while that worked out well, traveling back and forth to Mexico is hardly viable except under the most lenient of circumstances. Not to mention a bit intimidating, being a 50+ year old white guy. Time marches on and last year it came time to swap out some old crowns for implants. I concluded Mexico was no longer a reasonable option, and decided to try Dr. Kanani. His office is just across from my wife’s practice (world’s best chiropractor!), and since I had casually met “Dr. K” a few times, as neighbors, I decided to give him a try. I can say without reservation that “Dr. K” is an exceptional dentist with an extraordinary range of capabilities beyond general dentistry. I’ve had several implants done, tricky types, one of which required a difficult sinus lift needed as a result of a couple of long-gone teeth. My bad…didn’t take care of myself when I should have. Noting my considerable apprehension, Dr. K knocked me out for that one. Easy enough. Dr. K has the latest in Xray equipment, including some sort of panoramic system that captured my whole mouth in one, CT-like scan. Everything is digital, so immediately (literally) he was giving me a tour of my mouth on a monitor, explaining everything I needed to know to make informed decisions on my treatment plan. He obviously keeps up on his craft, explaining conditions and options very clearly. He has a great sense of humor, too, which is much appreciated under the circumstances. I am not an easy patient; phobias of all kinds and hyper gag reflex, but between Dr. K and his fun, personable staff, the work gets done, done well and at fair prices. His office is a great team of professionals who feel more like extended family. A good feeling when it comes to dental work.

Dr K is the best!  He and his whole staff are so kind and personable.  When I walked into his office close to two years ago I was a mess.  I had such horrible experiences with dentists before him that I just stopped going.  I got a referral from someone to see him and decided to brave it.  I am so glad I did!  I decided to do Invisilign with him which requires bi weekly visits, and I actually look forward to going.  It’s like visiting family.  I’m almost done with the treatment now and my teeth look incredible.  He’s done an amazing job.  I’m so happy with Dr. K.  He better NEVER retire.

Best dentist I’ve ever had! I went through a bad and painful experience for a whole month with a different dentist. It was at “Easy Dental” chains, I should of thought about it twice. Anyways, long story short, Dr. Kanani fixed the problem in one visit. The unbelievable pain that was driving me nuts was gone. Really, I’m not exaggerating but it was pain that I’ve never felt before. He could tell what I was going through. He is a professional and know what he is doing along with his staff. They are all very caring. Yeah, it is a little hard to find because it’s in between other businesses. Great businesses can’t always be in easy-to-find locations. Parking is behind in the small alley but I always find parking. I highly recommend him!

Dr. K is the best! He and his staff are very friendly and funny. I laugh a lot every time I go there, and he didn’t have to give me the good stuff! He happily fixed one of my fillings and his main concern was making sure I was comfortable and happy. For those with trepidation, he will be more than happy to knock you out for your procedure 🙂 There is a parking lot, but it’s down the alleyway.

Wisdom teeth removal is something that sounds VERY scary.  We eventually all have to get them done. Well, I recently had an emergency arise where I had to get one removed ASAP (ended up getting the top two removed) and luckily this amazing office was able to fit me in today (thank you Nancy!), do panoramic X-rays and pull them out a few hours later! I trusted Dr. Kanani to do an excellent job and he did more than that! He was very professional and knowledgeable! I had a lot of anxiety and adrenaline prior to the procedure. However, as the procedure began, Dr. K walked me through step-by-step what was going on, made sure I was okay and even entertained me when I asked him to humm a tune because I was super nervous when the time came for extractions. It was actually relieving and I was in smiles and bright spirits the whole time. The injections were painless and his assistant Hugo was very attentive. Dr. Kanani did an excellent job and both teeth came out like candy and ready-to-go as souvenirs haha. I highly recommend Dr. K to anyone needing a highly experienced and knowledgeable Doctor. I was very impressed by his explanations on how he was performing his extractions. You are in good hands to all prospective patients. Thank you so so much Dr. Kanani.
