After moving to Arizona from Illinois I had to find a dentist that was right for me. I have had a few bad experiences in the past so I am very careful about who takes care of my body. Before I visited Artisan Family Dentistry I saw a few other dentist in the valley, which I was not comfortable with any of them for one reason or another. A friend of mine eventually recommended Dr. Carson to me and I have to say that his attention to detail, professionalism, and standards that he sets for his staff is top notch. My first visit could have been terrifying as I had a wisdom tooth coming in on the top and an impacted wisdom tooth on the bottom, which caused constant pain. I called Dr. Carson and told him what my problem was and we scheduled an appointment for later in the week. After looking at the x-rays Dr. Carson confirmed that my bottom tooth was impacted and I would need to see an oral surgeon because of it being so close to a nerve (the last dentist did not mention this at all). Before we started I was given a couple of options about what we can do with the bottom tooth. Dr. Carson answered all of my questions and was very thorough about each option. We decided that an oral surgeon would be best, but in the meantime he would remove part of the tooth so that it would relieve the pressure. I was so pleased with how Dr. Carson and his staff treated me that I have now been going here for over a year and I always schedule my next appointment before leaving.

I have never never never never experienced such an amazing dental office. The entire staff is so welcoming and so calming and theyre really here to take care of all of your needs. I will never recommend another place for dental work. Hands down my best experience. IF YOU SUFFER FROM SEVERE ANXIETY this is the place for you.

Kempton B- I really hate the dentist. I went to Dr Carson and the staff really eased my fear. Reema was polite and very nice. Paula the Hygienist was gentle and took great care of me. Dr Carson was very gentle as well and has a great way about him. I found a new dentist that I will keep. Thanks.

Paula is just the best hygienist on the planet. She’s gentle, very thorough, is very serious about making one feel comfortable and she has an amazing sense of humor. She is so down to earth in what she does, and that is most comforting if you feel any anxiety at all about going to the dentist!! The whole staff is there for the patient, hands down, the best kept secret in town. I highly recommend Doc Carson and the staff at Artisan Family Dentistry!!

I did a lot of research on the web looking for a good dentist and I’m very happy with my decision to book Artisan Family Dentistry. The office is beautiful and clean. The staff was organized and efficient. I’m not a big fan of the Dentist, but this Dentist and the entire office staff made me feel very comfortable. Very pleased with my first visit!

People, I am as scared of going to the dentist as a turkey during Thanksgiving. But they are absolutely fantastic. I had zero pain during my cleaning as well as my 2 wisdom teeth extractions. Folks, if you are afraid to go to the dentist like me, fear no more. This is the dentist for you. Believe me when I say I was comfortable, that is a big deal coming from me. Everybody has some level of nervousness going to the dentist, but everybody there just has a calming way about them. The office atmosphere is also very soothing and calming..thank you all for a visit that I was totally relaxed in. I do not have to search any further for a dentist I feel comfortable with. I’ve been going to Dr. Carson for over two years now and have found a lifetime dentist. His staff is always friendly and professional and Dr. Carson always takes the time to see me, unlike other practices where the dentist is non-existent. My husband and I love Dr. Carson and his staff! It’s hard to find a good, honest dentist, and luckily we have to look no further. My dental hygienist was very thorough, and everyone in the office is so friendly and caring. I also like the individual treatment plans offered, which is nice for those of us who do not have insurance. I am very happy to have found Dr. Carson and Artisan Family Dentistry!

Paid a visit to Artisan family dentistry and was welcomed in right away. The dental hygienist Vanessa was very light in here had, and did an amazing job with the x-rays and cleaning. Dr. Carson was there too and visited with me, gave me some details and was very attentive and listened to my concerns. Will definitely be back for some brown work and for my future visits.

I had an emergency with a tooth filling that broke off. The office was nice enough to get me in the next day. I have never had a bad experience at this dental office which is why I keep returning. It is important to me to keep my gums and teeth healthy, so the entire staff is helpful with further education and dental options without forcing products on you. I would definitely recommend this dental office to other too.

Ended up at AFD on very short notice after breaking a tooth. Dr. Carson was extremely accommodating getting me in with zero notice and his office staff was amazing and helpful. I needed the broken tooth extracted and that’s what I got. I was offered other options but no hard sells. Very business like and to the point. The day after the extraction there was very little pain. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I have been going to see Dr. Carson for several years now and would highly recommend his office! His staff is always prompt and professional when we go for routine cleanings. Dr. Carson also replaced my crown and made sure it looked absolutely perfect and matched beautifully with my other teeth. If you want the best, go to Dr. Carson!

My daughter is a patient of Dr. Carson and recommended Artisan Family Dentistry. Both my husband and I were extremely happy with the service and care we received. The dental hygienist was very thorough, and I loved the new technology they use for xrays. I also appreciate the individual treatment plans they offer, which is great for those of us who do not have dental insurance. We loved our visit and interaction with everyone in the office. Very friendly and caring staff!

I developed pain in my upper jaw that was constant over two days. I had not been to a dentist in several years and so got online to find a dentist that was not only close but also had positive feedback from other patients. I called Artisan and they were able to get me in early that afternoon. My experience was outstanding with both the staff and the dentist. Very friendly, competent, and they explained every aspect of my treatment. I had to have two teeth extracted which was non-eventful and essentially painless for me. I should note that I have had bad experiences with dentists in years past. I was a little apprehensive initially but my concerns rapidly diminished. In short, I was very impressed with Artisan’s overall operation and patient care. They will become my regular dental group.

I have been going to Dr. Carson’s office for five years. I have had problems with my teeth for years. I had many of my teeth filled because I did not take care of them as a teenager. I continued to have problems with my fillings. Most dentists replaced them repeatedly. Once I went to Dr. Carson, he replaced the fillings that I had problems with, and I have not had a single one replaced for over five years. They look beautiful and I am not experiencing the same issues I used to. In fact, I have no issues. I have so much less stress knowing that my dentist is competent, skilled, and honest. It is a nice feeling to go into the dentist and not be worried there is going to be “another problem”. Also, I have an implant that was placed by another oral surgeon and dentist. Not too long after the procedure, I noticed the gums were purple and it looked like my white crown had a silver spot in it. I paid a significant amount of money for the implant and was worried it was going to fail. Dr. Carson informed me that my implant was already showing through the crown and I had an infection. He cleaned the gums (with a laser) and replaced my crown. My implant no longer hurts and looks beautiful. I also had braces (from an orthodontist in Florida). When my braces came off I noticed that my front teeth looked slanted and one tooth was still turned. Plus I noticed the back teeth still had gaps. I was disappointed because I had spent a significant amount of money on my braces. Dr. Carson straightened the front teeth, rotated the tooth that had not been corrected by my original orthodontist, and also performed cosmetic bonding so my teeth would all be the same length. He also closed the open gaps between my back molars and whitened my teeth. All my fillings match my original teeth. My smile is practically perfect, and healthy. I get so many compliments on my smile. Dr. Carson has also worked on both of my parents. My mother had her implant placed with Dr. Carson. She paid much less than I did because Dr. Carson offers reasonable prices for the services he offers. My father had Dr. Carson perform a deep cleaning and fill his cavities. My parents are always happy with how well they are treated and how great their teeth look and feel after Dr. Carson works on them. I refer all of my friends and family to Dr. Carson. It took me ten years to find the perfect dentist, but I can personally attest to Dr. Carson’s skill as a dentist. If you are looking for an honest dentist that performs exceptional work, go to Dr. Carson, you will be satisfied. My smile has never looked better and I am so grateful.

I have been going to Dr. Carson for about a year now and I’m so thankful I found this office. I go into his office for my cleanings every 6 months and his staff does an amazing job. Dr. Carson has also done my invisalign as well as bonding on my teeth. My teeth have never looked so good and this is the first time I can say I’m absolutely in love with my smile. His staff is always prompt and professional. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Carson and Artisan Family Dentistry! 100% the best dentist I’ve EVER gone to. Thank you for everything!

A dentist you can trust. I moved away but still come back here. Some dentists can find a cavity or ten every visit so they can make money. This is a different kind of dentist. Seems to only suggest treatment when needed for your mouth rather than his pocketbook. If you do have a cavity he shows it to you. I really appreciate his approach.

Wonderful experience with crown today! Dr. Carson is an excellent Dentist. Perfection in skill, accomodating, professional, and personable best describe him! All staff is equally proficient in their trade, friendly, and go above and beyond to make for a pleasant dental experience. I highly recommend their practice to all! I went back for my 2nd appointment with Artisan Family Dentistry. My 1st appointment was so incredibly wonderful (New Patient Special, x-rays, cleaning, polishing, etc.) and such a refreshing change from the last time I tried a “New Patient Special” somewhere else that I honestly didn’t see how they could beat their great first impression. They did. Easily. I had a damaged and painful tooth extracted at this 2nd appointment, and was NOT looking forward to this at all. However, they welcomed me in, made me comfortable, and both the Hygienist and Dr Carson both came in and spoke to me and really let me know that I was in charge of my own treatment. After some more x-rays to verify the problem area, we then proceeded to numb the area in question, my upper right quadrant, and the good Doctor got to work. The procedure took less than 30 minutes total, from x-ray to checkout. There were a couple of shots of a local anesthetic, and the extraction was completely painless. I am so glad that my brother and sister-in-law found Dr. Carson and his amazing staff. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment, and I highly recommend Artisan Family Dentistry to everybody, young and old alike.

Me and my family have been going to Artisan Family Dentistry for years now and I can’t say enough good things about them. I tell everyone that what I love most are the people, and that Dr. Carson only does work that you need done. He is not about doing work for the sake of work and truly cares about taking care of your teeth (and whole mouth). I’ve had a few emergencies (at least in my mind they were) and every single time they say come right in, right away and they see me. I have moved all over the valley and have continued to drive to see them because of my great experience. I have beautiful teeth done by them, and my cleanings are always easy and fast. I am a life long patient of Artisan Family Dentistry.

I lived in Arizona for about 8 years, having moved from the midwest. I’ve been to a number of different dentists in Scottsdale and wasn’t comfortable with any of them. Dr. Carson was recommended to me by a neighbor because of his professional and ethical standards, not to mention the quality of his work. My neighbor highly recommended Dr. Carson because of the quality of the crown he replaced, and said it was worth the drive. I had a cleaning and x-ray by his hygienist, and and followup thorough review by Dr. Carson. Dr. Carson was completely honest with me that I didn’t need any additional work at this time. I give Dr. Carson 5 stars for his integrity. My experience over 60 years with dentists is that they always seem to find something that needs to be repaired or adjusted and recommend (up-sell) unnecessary treatment. It’s comforting to know that one can get an honest assessment of your dental needs without thinking that you are being sold something you don’t need. It was worth the drive and he will be my dentist as long as I live in Arizona.

I had a wonderful experience at Artisan Family Dentistry. Everyone was very friendly and professional, Dr. Carson was very skilled and detailed throughout the entire visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quality & friendly dentist . My wife & kids enjoyed their experience as well. I can’t tell you what a relief it is so hear my kids say they enjoyed their visit to the Dentist!

This is a great Dental Office, this was my first time here and a very good experience. The hygienist was very gentle and very nice. Dr Carson was not pushing for all kinds of stuff, like most Dentists do. He recommended what I might need down the road and that was it. What a difference from past places I have been. Definitely recommend them!
