I love my dentist. They’re really great people and everyone is so friendly. Dr Roussel has done a LOT of work on my teeth over the years and he does an amazing job. He has completely remade my smile and I would recommend him, and his team, to anyone who needs work done, or just a cleaning.

This place is wonderful! I’ve always had a fear of dentist. Dr. Roussel & all his staff were great! They made me feel extra comfortable & ease from the first day I called & made an appointment! Dr. Roussel is very funny, extremely nice, patient, kind, very accommodating for scaredy cats like myself, very knowledgeable & absolutely loves his career. He’s great at what he does & answers all your questions very knowledgeably & thoroughly. He definitely puts your fears at ease. Many many hats go out to De’ette (I’m sorry if I misspelled it) & Jessica who were extremely gentle with me. They were funny & always smiling & ever so helpful from the very beginning. The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was extremely thorough. Real nice & got the job done at the last minute! (I decided at the last minute to get my teeth cleaned) What a great & fun team! You have earned a patient for life! I will send many referrals! Y’all DEFINITELY deserve it!! Thank y’all for being so nice, patient & caring. It truly meant a lot & it went a long way with me!

Dr. Roussell and his staff are wonderful. They are welcoming and knowledgeable. If you have a problem, they do their best to get you in the same day. The hygienists are extremely gentle. Dr. Mike has done 2 crowns for me and they are perfect. You can not tell I have a crown in the front of my mouth! I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist in the Baton Rouge area.

Last minute appointment for the hubs. He NEVER goes anywhere near a Dr ! To our surprise they fit us in right away on a Friday. They seat you in his office before they take you back into the dental chair. I think this eases the fear and stress of the patient. Dr Roussel is very kind, witty and very laid back. He and my husband immediately started talking about sports, then family and finally dental history and health. The environment is very relaxing. The ladies are very sweet and helpful. Dr is not rough and informs you of everything he’s getting ready to do or doing at that moment. He takes most insurances and their prices are very reasonable. At first the name turned me off because I thought an artistic dentist has to be pricey, but NOPE not at all ! I’d recommend this office too anyone for emergency issues or definitely a long-term dentist !

Artistic Dentistry is awesome! Dr.Mike Roussel and his staff are phenomenal. They are always friendly and professional and care about each patient. The office is always clean and Dr.Roussel is entertaining. I’m glad to call Dr. Roussel a friend. I highly recommend this practice for your dental needs.

Best dentist you’ll find anywhere! I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana but have lived in Texas and now live in Virginia. Even living in Virginia now, I still travel back to go to Artistic Dentistry! Micheal Roussel DDS and his staff are great. They are a very positive group. If they have to tell you bad news(gum disease, tooth decay, etc) they will follow it with good news(how to fix and prevent the problem). I’m always in a good mood when I leave that office. The office is a clean relaxing environment and everyone is super friendly. I would recommend Artistic Dentistry to anyone looking for a great dentist.

Definitely the best doctor and staff experience hands down…very professional today was my first visit and I felt like I’ve been coming here for years the is beyond beautiful kind and sweet and Dr roussel is very well informed and places himself in the seat as if he the patient very knowledgeable gentleman and honest love this place already..

I cannot stress enough how terrified I am of the dentist, like it’s pretty much become a legitimate phobia, but as soon as I walked through the door I felt comfortable. The front desk ladies were super sweet and friendly, I was called back to start my appointment quickly and I was met by Dr. Roussel who took the time before bringing me to the back to talk to me to better learn and understand what I am doing that could be causing my dental issues. Throughout my visit he was comforting, thoughtful, and very mindful of my raging anxiety. I went in with a broken tooth, and had to have a root canal, and honestly, it wasn’t the worst experience of my life, it wasn’t flowers and sunshine but I didn’t mind. I went in with a gap in my teeth, and came out with a gorgeous new crown that he made in office using some pretty neat technology! I still haven’t stopped raving to everyone about how much I enjoyed my visit there. Thank you to Harley, also, who aided Dr. Roussel during my visit, even being new to the office, she did wonderfully! You guys are awesome!

Dr Stuart Michael Roussel and his very qualified, knowledgeable , experienced and caring team are truly the cream of the crop. For younger people who don’t understand that particular phrase, this means that they are top notch, know what they are doing , are trustworthy, and ” dope”.( since I know Roussel has a good sense of humor, as does his staff, this means they are fantastic). I review on Yelp and have given a previous honest and on target positive review there in 2013. I give honest reviews to the best of my ability. I know that the ” Artistic Dentistry” website has a black and white photo of Dr Roussel holding up a wine glass. This was aimed ,I feel sure, at female clients, as it features a red ” kiss” lipstick mark on his cheek.However, rest assured, when he is actually on duty, he has steady and capable hands.( and he also is much more prepossessing than his black and white website pic) One of most clients biggest fears, regarding dentists , is getting ” the shot” or having one or more injections . Let me assure you, and I’m a nurse who hates receiving any kind of injection( by anyone, at any medical venue); Dr R is excellent at this , and his experience and skill in this alone is one reason he gets such high praise from his regular clients. I know not everyone has dental insurance, and not all dental procedures are covered by some insurance companies. As his business name indicates, he is an artist, sculptor, mechanic and a scientist… maybe one could call him a magician , because he has the skill and knowledge necessary to make bad teeth disappear and beautiful teeth become a reality. Needless to say, I highly regard Dr Roussel, and we have been his clients ever since Dr. Earl Turner retired( a few years back)
