It has been once of the hardest thing in life to find someone who has been honest. Every single time I go to the dentist, I always feel like pressured into things, from the front desk to the back people. So much that I stopped going for a few years. I know it’s my fault. I had a couple of cavities, I knew it. They hurt and that’s I knew. lol I remember my parents always telling me to always get a second opinion. I went to a dentist in the area, received a $5000 treatment plan and left without getting anything done. OK like I’m going to spend $5k for some snore device and retainers and some fillings.  Then I found this dentist, he explained each tooth one by one, told me everything that could possibly be done to each tooth, why I should, why I shouldn’t, pulled up pictures and examples, showed me youtube videos, this guy is an educator I thought to myself. Then I went online and he’s a instructor. I knew it. He was explaining things to me like I was his student. At the end, he gave all the options, made his recommendations and was honest. His treatment plan way less than the other dentist, his demeanor much better. No pressure to get the work done right there in there OR I will die. He knows his stuff. Long story short, I told them I wanted to think about it and they were more than willing.. I booked another appointment, got two fillings and both my pain areas are gone. I’ll be here for a few years and I recommend.

I’ve been going to ASK Dental Group for almost 2 years now and can honestly say that Dr. Khou is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He and his staff are smart, friendly, and thorough. The office is small but well equipped and ran extremely well. Scheduling is easy and their reminder system is great. They also have a working knowledge of insurances which really help their patients maximize their level of care without adding extra costs. I always recommend him to my colleagues at UCLA. Wow, I didn’t expect to find a great dentist like Dr Ardy. I am from France and never had, so far, to go to a US dentist. I did a lot of research on internet to find someone. Dr Ardy went above my expectation. I am very sensitive and when it comes to dentist or doctor appointments I am emotionally distress. Dr Ardy is not only kind, he does a painless work, explaining everything he will do. He does try to save the tooth before taking major option. And it worked for me. Taking my old filling and putting a new one! It worked pain was gone. The most he does check up on you to make sure you are ok. He also helped me to understand how dental insurance works and so I switched. Dental is too important, having a cheap insurance is no good. The staff is so warm and welcoming as well. I am definitely going back to Ask Dental Group and have Dr Ardy taking care of my teeth. Thank you for such a great painless and caring job. I was so stress when I cam in, and I relaxed during the treatment. I highly recommend Dr Ardy and his staff. You can go there with trust and no fear of dentist. His background as a pediatric dentist is shown as he really care about how you feel and knows how to comfort you.

Knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about his patients. Not only is his office always immaculate, but Dr. Ardy ALWAYS greets you with a smiling face, genuinely interested in how you’ve been doing. EVERYBODY should be so lucky to know Dr. Ardy. Ive grown up in a family of medical and dental professionals and they all highly value their rapport with patients. He remembers everything about everyone and enjoys following up with his patients about their personal lives-somehow he always sneaks in motivational words about school!  Dr Ardy takes time to really get to know his patients on a personal level- he treats patients as people and has a heart of gold. His passion is his patients. I’m constantly impressed by his knowledge-whether its explaining to me the procedure he’s about to do or the materials going into my mouth. It’s evident that he loves what he does.

I was referred to this dentist by my co-worker. The parking is a bit tricky but it’s westwood village so it’s normal I guess. The dentist really makes up for it all. I’ve had good dentists and I’ve had some bad dentists in the my days, and to top it off I had lots and lots of work when I was a child and frankly I’m terrified. I work in the next building over so this is very close to me. This guy is amazing. He stays with you from the start to the finish, explains everything. I was interested in getting some clear braces and he gave me some material to study so that I can be sure this is what I want to do. Like everything else, clear braces is a commitment as you have to wear it most of the day. Like the other reviewer said, honestly a really humble guy that tells you how it is. I like that. I like to be informed about everything. From car repairs to my health. I like to make decisions for myself and I feel like he allowed me to do that. I will be back in 6 months

This dentist is **honest**, knows what he’s doing, is very low pressure and has a sense of humor! Will not push or sell anything to you. Treats you with respect. You can tell he really likes what he does and finds it interesting. I grind my teeth at night and he took the time to show me pictures of abfraction (what grinding teeth does over time). I told him I didn’t want a mouth guard expecting him to try to sell me one but nope. No pressure whatsoever. He told me it’s up to me. Also, I really liked the dental hygienist who did my x-ray. Just very competent, thorough, smart, honest people all around! Will definitely return.

Dr. Arde is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had. Every other dentist I’ve been to feels like a mechanic where I go in to get one cavity filled and they find a bunch of other things wrong with me. Not Dr. Arde, he’s genuine, offers fair rates, and is not pushy. He also does a good job at easing your nerves if you’re anxious during the procedure and takes his time. I’ll definitely stick with him unless I have to move, but if that were the case, I’m sure he wouldn’t send me fake bills or spam my inbox (like other dentists have done in the past). Highly recommend!

This review is long overdue. Dr. Ardy is hands down the most caring and personal dentist I’ve ever had. Needless to say, he changed my life by granting me a smile to feel confident about. Dr. Ardy took my “difficult” case with confidence, and made sure I was happy with my results. He told me himself that he wouldn’t let me leave his office until I was happy with my smile. I quickly saw how much Dr. Ardy genuinely cares about his patients, because he went out of his way to solve my case. Not only was he 100% invested, he also gave me incredible prices. This just comes to show how Dr. Ardy cares about his patients rather than being a dentist that wants to steal your money. Even though I’m no longer a UCLA student, I will keep seeing Dr. Ardy for my regular dental cleaning. Lastly, all his staff are extremely nice, which adds to the comfort. Thank you for everything, Dr. Ardy. I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking for dental care.

Dr. Ardy and his incredible staff have made my visits with them the best dental experience I have ever had. I came to Dr. Ardy after years of not receiving dental care due to lack of insurance. Despite my situation, he was very compassionate and made sure I was comfortable in his care. It is evident that he genuinely cares about his patients. With his expertise and professionalism, he gave me a thorough cleaning, took care of my cavities, and assisted with my Invisalign treatment plan. His staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the office was very clean and well organized. He is truly an outstanding dentist, an expert in his field, and I highly recommend him.

The one benefit of being a dental student is that it offers you a much deeper appreciation of good dentistry and a more thorough understanding of the philosophies and clinical approaches that underpin a great dentist. (I’m sure there are other benefits to being a dental student but I’m too stressed out to appreciate them). Dr. Ardy is a real dentist, not a salesman who happened to go into dentistry. I went into his office to address some problems I had with my smile (generalized staining as well as mild fluorosis on my central incisors). He got rid of the staining with a quick cleaning (he’s super efficient) and explained how specific aspects of my otherwise healthy diet (namely whey protein shakes) can often lead to increased staining, especially in areas between teeth. Furthermore, instead of trying to sell me on the procedure to get rid of the mild fluorosis, he explained the lack of guaranteed results from these relatively new treatments, as they are often hyped by dental biotech companies without a significant bulk of clinical research proving their worth. I’m grateful to have found an awesome dentist in the area who is modern enough to have digital patient onboarding and easy xray access, but classic enough to still believe that the best dentistry is often the least dentistry. Although I probably won’t have much real work to give him over the coming years (knock on wood), I’m happy that I have him in my corner to keep track of my dental health.
