Aten has been my dentist for over a decade now and she is absolutely fantastic. Throughout my childhood, teenage years, and now young adulthood she has made the dentist a safe and comforting place for me. The dental assistances are also amazing, friendly, and always high spirited. They are all so kind, gentle, and understanding. They make going to the dentist almost a fun trip because I enjoy getting to see all of them. I 100% recommend Aten to anybody Who wants a great dentist in the south Charlotte area.

I have been seeing Dr Aten for about 25 years now. This is even though it is a long drive from Concord to the Toringdon area. This whole time I have been pleased with the care, treatment and professionalism of Dr. Aten and the entire staff. This is very consistent in this day and time. I referred a friend to Dr. A. 6-12 months ago and she was thanking me for the referral recommendation just this week.

Dr. Aten and the entire staff are very professional, friendly, and gentle. I have never had to wait longer than five minutes for an appointment. Dr. Aten is very current with the science of dentistry and I recommend her highly. The staff and she are always concerned with patient comfort, educate appropriately, and make dental visits pleasant and completely fearless. Thank you for the wonderful service!

I love going to Dr. Aten! Her staff is very nice and I’ve never had to wait to go back for my cleaning. They take care of insurance and everything so seamlessly and always have a smile! My husband and I went here for over a year before we moved away but we miss this dentist!

I could not be happier with every single procedure I’ve had done at Aten and Garofalo. Dr Aten is gentle and so informative….she explains everything she is doing and is so aware of her patients having no pain! For the fist time in my life I’ve found a dental team that I feel comfortable with and I’m genuinely happy with. Dr. Aten, the hygiene team, procedure assistants as well as the administrative team are outstanding. They are professional, compassionate as well as kind and caring. I have been a patient for OVER TWENTY years! My entire family are patients- and I have referred lots of friends. I consider the team as friends- always so friendly, but professional. I will follow Dr Aten anywhere. I am so comfortable at this practice that I bring my own blanket (though they provide blankets, too!).

My husband and I had to find a new dentist after moving from out-of-state, and my daughter recommended this practice because she and her toddler son like Dr. Aten and her staff so much. My husband needed emergency treatment and he was accommodated quickly and very satisfactorily by Dr. Aten and Lyndsey. Cindy discussed the projected costs with him and told him what was covered by insurance. I recently needed to have a chipped upper front tooth repaired. Cindy reviewed my coverage with me and there were no surprises. Dr. Aten and Katrina chose the perfect color filler and quickly had my tooth looking like nothing was ever wrong with it. The staff are all personable and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated.

Excellent dental practice. The front office/business staff is wonderful and extremely helpful, dental hygienists are thorough and personable, and Dr. Aten is by far the most thorough dentist I have ever worked with.  This practice truly cares about their patients.  We were referred to the practice by friends who have been patients for years and can see why everyone was so positive in their recommendations.  Thank you for providing such a great experience for our family.

I had a crown prep today which was the first procedure other than cleaning that I have had done in this office. It went very well. I do not take Novocain and the procedure was painless. This is my 9th crown and I have never had the temporary fit so well. Dr. Aten and Katrina, her dental assistant, were a great team. I highly recommend Dr. Aten. the whole office staff is wonderful.

Very thorough and loved my hygienist! She was very thorough and my teeth look great. Cindy was kind enough to help me manage my appointment to where it was convenient for me and Dr Aten explained how my teeth were doing in detail. Great dental practice! I highly recommend!

I don’t think anyone loves going to the dentist! However, I love the staff at Aten and Garofalo. I asked Dr. Aten to see my mother on an emergency basis due to a serious dental issue. She not only worked my mother into her schedule, but the patience, kindness and attention to her situation was overwhelming. I will never forget what I witnessed at that appointment with Jill and Dr. Aten. I am forever grateful.

Great job today; I could append a long list of superlative adjectives; nevertheless, I have to evaluate my actual sense of need, i.e. every six months, uhmm maybe not that often. I did appreciate Lyndsey’s skill, professionalism,… I am considering the creative payment plan for the major work. Don’t want my teeth to crumble.

From the moment one walks in the door, the atmosphere is warm and caring. The dental professionals have always spent all the time I need to ask questions as well as do an excellent job. They are the most caring and professional dental professionals I’ve ever had, and because we’ve moved quite a number of times, we’ve had lots of experience. They came highly recommended, and we do, too, now!
