For those of you who have been concerned about going to the dentist, Atlantic Dental will be a completely new experience. The office overlooks the water and it has been designed to make patients as comfortable as going to the dentist in your own living room. The waiting room has ultra comfortable couches, and a number of electric foot messages and back messages to help you relax while waiting for your appointment. They have a terrific staff that is genuinely concerned about their patients, treat them with respect – the way that they would want to be treated. This starts at the top with Dr. Michnick and includes the experience at reception, the very short wait time and how the staff interacts with patients during and after procedures. The exam rooms overlook the water and dental chairs provide back and neck messages to make the patient feel less anxiety and more comfortable as well. Dr. Michnick is very talented and you can see that it is important to him that each patient receives the best possible care in a comfortable environment. Atlantic Dental almost makes you want to go to the dentist more often. (Well Almost)

These dentists are amazing as is the service. Had a problem late Friday afternoon when a crown popped off and after they had closed. Got a call back shortly from the on-call dentist and because I had no pain we agreed together I could wait until Monday. They fit me in. Fixed the crown and got me whole again. First dentist I have worked with in the OC area that actually called back when there was an after-hour problem.

I have been going to Atlantic Dental for about 2 years now. Best I’ve been to in the area! All the dentists, hygienists and staff have been extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. They always provide a printed treatment plan for any recommended procedures (prior to setting up appointments) so you have an estimated cost before completing anything. I have serious anxiety when it comes to dental work (due to past bad experiences at other practices) and they have always made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Atlantic Dental for a while now. Everyone is so friendly and they all listen and fix whatever is going on with your teeth. I am getting my front top teeth crowned and I have been worried about my color choice. No matter how many times I contact them or stop in, they never make me feel like I am bothering them. This was my first visit today and I was so happy after my appointment. First, upon entering, I felt like I was in a day spa vs a dentist office. The waiting room is lovely with lemon infused water and tea available as you look out on the wwater.They also have a deck out back you can relax on when the weather is nicer. Then, as I encountered each staff member they were very kind, attentive, knowledeable and professional. I felt like they understood my health issues and could work with and around them very comfortably. The services/equipment offered are very up to date and Dr Michnik was very thorough and helped me understand my situation. I’ve been traveling to Annapolis for my dental care but will be making my transition to Atlantic for the future. It was an absolute pleasure and that is saying a lot for someone who has been scared of the dentist their whole life.

Atlantic Dental is the only dentist I trust on the Eastern Shore. Coming from the Baltimore Metropolitan area, I was very nervous to try a dentist here. Woke up with a tooth ache–which was the first one I’ve ever had–and called the office to see if they could fit me in. Staff was very helpful and was able to get me in to see Dr. Michnik later that morning. Quick xray and exam and it looks like i have a root canal in my future. When I left the office I had a packet of info on what had to be done and recommendations on who and where to do it. Very professional and i was very grateful for being allowed to “jump the line”.

Dr. Michnick and his team are OUTSTANDING!! They are kind, patient, thorough, and excellent at what they do. I’m in the process of having two of my front teeth crowned–2 of the most important teeth in my mouth–and they have gone above and beyond to not only make me feel comfortable, but to also make me LOOK amazing. Trusting someone with your front teeth is absolutely terrifying, but they didn’t even think twice when I showed up 2 days in a row without an appointment because my temporaries were giving me trouble. They fixed the problem and sent me on my way free of charge both times! Dr. Michnick always makes me laugh and his assistants are always so pleasant. I have the worst dental anxiety and they are so calm and patient with me. They explained everything and even tell me what to expect in the future. Plus they were able to get me in when having a dental emergency. I am actually looking forward to going to my next appointment so that I can get my dental health back on track.
