From my first point of contact and throughout the process of my entire family being treated by this practice, I must say that I am nothing short of highly impressed. It is obvious that Dr. Cantwell and his team consider patients to be part of their family. The enviroment is clean, comfortable, and inviting. My care plan goes beyond cleanings and fillings, and I was given more than enough information to make a confident decision moving forward. They are incredible with kids. We need more medical offices that a run like this one.

Bonnie of course is breath of fresh air. She is so friendly and proffesional. Jackie Young is so smart. She has convinced me to spend money on my mouth that I would never agree to spend. Her background and experience is second to no one. Dr Cantwell is in my opinion the best dentist I have ever seen. The only area I think this office should tone down on is the guilt my family feels as though were not cleaning or protecting our teeth or gums enough, yes I know it’s all about education. All in All I love all the people that work here. They are all warm and friendly and feel like family. Thanks for all the great years of fixing my mouth.

Amazing staff I’ve been going here since I was little and they are very friendly and feel like family.  I have never done well with injections of any kind but these guys are pros! I couldn’t feel a thing when they numbed me the last time I went in.  If you want someone who cares about you as much as you care about yourself then come this is the place to be.

Dr. David Cantwell is the best dentist I have ever been to. I’m picky about dental work and I tried a number of dentists before finding Atlantis Dental. At the time, I needed a filling replaced (different dentist did a bad job) and was nervous about the work. There’s something about getting a shot in the gum that really puts me on edge. The Doc mixed up a strong pre-numbing paste to help me out, and did an excellent job with the shot. I have never before been able to say this: I did not feel the poke of the needle going into my gum. At all. Just a bit of pressure. Anyway, the filling came out great with no problems. Since then, I’ve had my teeth straightened and had a bit of other work from him (another filling :-P). All of it has been excellent. Other than dentistry, I love that they will email me and text me about my appointment (days before, then on the day of). Also, It’s nice that they always remember my name, my wife’s name, my kid’s names, what my hobbies are, what we talked about last, etc. They must write notes. Overall, great experience. I would recommend Atlantis Dental to anyone.

The staff was so welcoming with an overall sense of comfort and care. The hygienist was gentle and friendly with excellent timing on questions to empty mouth ratio. The receptionist is the most amazing person I have ever met in her position. I am excited to meet the Doctor as I’m sure he is equally exceptional.

Absolutely the best dental doctor and staff in the treasure valley. I’ve been a patient for over 10 years. Erin is an absolute professional hygienist. Very courteous and friendly always thinking of the patient. Office staff goes out of their way to explain the payments and insurance. Best doctor in the treasure valley.

The staff is incredible, every one of them. They are very personal and accommodating. Dr. Cantwell is amazing. He’s thorough, gentle, takes the time to explain the procedures. I am not the kind of patient that a dentist hopes for. I have complicated teeth and have had horrible experiences in the past with other dentists. Dr. Cantwell, as well as his staff, have worked with me to make the appointments as pleasant as possible.

5 Stars as usual…entire family has been getting first class treatment from Atlantis Dental since 2010…from friendly and organized appointments, check-in, and insurance tracking with Bonnie…to consistently outstanding dental hygiene care from Erin, and now Jacque…to the most elite level dentistry we’ve ever had through the capable skills of Dr. Cantwell whose background includes the highest levels of education, training and experience…family has received expert treatments for jaw bone graft, front tooth implant, numerous crowns & veneers, sealants, tooth whitening, and more…and Heather and the other dental assistants round out the professional team with seamless coordination…simply put, Atlantis Dental is the premier destination. GO BUCKEYES!!!

From the first phone call to make my initial appointment to the end of my treatment my experience with Atlantis Dental was positive.I have a deep fear of dentistry and everyone was so kind and understanding and so very patient. The work was done on my own time and they never once made me feel embarrassed of my fear…..AND ..they took time to look at pictures of my grandchildren ! I would absolutely recommend Atlantis Dental Care .

Over the years my family lived in many areas, large and small and consequently we were patients of many dental practices. While many of our previous dentists have been very good, Atlantis Dental stands head and shoulders above the crowd. My 1st visit was a completely different experience, a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of my mouth and jaw, after which Dr. Cantwell reviewed the results with me, in detail, and answered all of my questions. This was a new experience and I was intrigued! After 5+ years in his care, I decided to undergo Invisalign with some cosmetic dentistry 50+ years after my original orthodontic care. It was an amazing experience. I came to appreciate the wonderfully caring and highly competent group of professionals who work so well together and obviously love what they do! Dr. C used both his talent and artistry to remake my mouth and I am thrilled with the result! How often do you look forward to your dental visits? I do, and the results are nothing short of amazing.

Our family loves going to Dr Cantwell’s. I’ve never had a bad experience! I also love that he recommended not doing anything on a potential problem and instead suggested we watch and see if it gets worse. Not many dentists will recommend the option that doesn’t cost you a small fortune. Love getting the best….and HONEST service possible! Atlantis Dental is the way to go!!

I’m very picky about dental work–especially the cleaning. That’s why I’m giving Jackie at Atlantis Dental a shout-out. She does a very thorough job cleaning and polishing my teeth. I highly recommend her. I lost my dental insurance with employment changes and tried a few other places. But when I found out Atlantis offered an accommodative self insurance plan, I went back. Also love that they have their own leading-edge equipment for making crowns in house. My new crown fit perfectly and was done in one appointment. Shout out to Dr Cantwell, Bonnie and all the other good folks there!

He is hands down the best dentist arguably in the universe. His practice is comfortable with their leather temperpedic massage chairs that have tvs right above your face if you want. Their prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly, excellent and easy on the eyes. Lastly I have family who flies in from other parts of the country just to see him semi annually.

I had a great experience here having an exam and cleaning and having a cavity filled. All the employees here, from the front desk to the dentist and dental assistants are super super nice and their equipment is very nice and new looking. The chairs massage you and there is a tv above your head which was especially great while I was getting my cavity filled. Will definitely be back!

As a busy mom I really appreciated their working with my schedule. They got my whole family in and worked with our schedules. My oldest son was always scared of the old dentist, but Dr Cantwell took some extra time to make friends with him by making him a balloon animal; now he is excited to go to the dentist. The office is very modern, and the filings that were done on me are very comfortable, and the crown looks just like my natural teeth. My husband needed a dental implant and is in the process of completing it. So far so good, but the implant is taking longer to heal, though he had no pain with any of it. I highly recommend their office. Great work, clean, and friendly. I have going there for a couple of years now.

We have been patients of Dr Cantwells for over 12 years. He is an excellent dentist with a wonderful personality. I have worked in the dental field for over 25 years (never in his office) and would highly recommend him for any age patient. He is so knowledgeable, professional and I truly love his entire staff!

Hands down one of the best dental staffs you’ll find in the Treasure Valley. You won’t find a more friendly or knowledgeable dentist than Doctor Cantwell, and the rest of the Atlantis team is top notch. They care about patients, they do anything they can to make people comfortable (especially children), and you end up looking forward to your appointment rather than dreading it because you feel like it’s a chance to catch up with friends. I don’t think my boys could have a better dentist. Props to the entire Atlantis team.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Cantwell for the past several years and I have been very happy with my experiences there. The staff is warm and welcoming. Hygienists Hailey and Jackie are both skilled, gentle, and pleasant to converse with. Dr. Cantwell is very easy going and shows a genuine interest in making sure my all my questions and concerns are addressed. Bonnie, the office manager, is an absolute treasure and it is always a joy to see her when I come in. I would recommend Atlantis Dental to anyone in a heartbeat.

My son and I have been going to Dr. Cantwell for over 13 years! From toddler to teenager, Dr. Cantwell has been great and made my son feel comfortable (which is a tough feat). He and his staff have always been so patient and caring with us, you’re not just another patient there. Definitely recommend Atlantis Dental to anyone looking, you won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I have been going to Atlantis Dental Care over a year now and we could not be happier with every experience there we have had, from the caring staff to the cutting edge technology. I’ve worked in Dentistry since 2007 under many different dentists but am a patient at Atlantis Dental Care for a very specific reason. Dr. Cantwell is by far the most knowledgeable dentist I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t just focus on the fact that you have a cracked tooth, he finds the reason why so I can prevent future cracks. He is very thorough and takes his time answering my questions. I feel valued when I’m there. Another reason I love Atlantis Dental is due to the great staff. They are efficient and caring, not to mention amazing at what they do. This office is an all around A+

I like their package plans that include cleaning and discounts for other procedures. Bonnie at the front desk is great. Erin the dental hygienist is caring, knowledgeable and highly skilled at her work. She is very helpful with tips and advice about personal maintenance and the best equipment to use. The office feels warm and comfortable. The doctor is great, best dentist office experience I have had!

Dr. Cantwell took great care of me and my teeth. I liked that he really listened to my concerns, was very clear in describing the problems he saw and what needed to be taken care of. His staff was kind and very thoughtful. I’m a scared patient with sensitive bottom teeth and this is the first dentist I’ve been to who didn’t act like I was just being a whiner. They believed me and took steps to actively calm me and make my procedures much less painful and unpleasant. As long as we live in this area, I will trust Dr. Cantwell with my dental care.
