I’ve been a patient with Dr. Kuo since 2013 and I’m begrudgingly writing this review because I can no longer make the trek from Burbank/Glendale to Costa Mesa for appointments. Ever since the first time I visited the office, I’ve always had an exceptional experience. Joanne, the office manager and Dr. Kuo’s wife, always knew me by name, asked about my job (she remembered the details) and was generally just beyond accommodating to my schedule. As for procedures I once had 3-4 cavities filled in one day by Dr. Kuo and it was virtually painless compared to the fillings I remember from my childhood. He ALWAYS made sure I was comfortable and the process was efficient. Dr. Kuo and his team reformed me into a person who actually flosses daily and kicked a nasty sugar habit (see above cavity struggle. Suffice to say, he’s the best. If you’re in Orange County you should absolutely consider this business, I’m devastated that I had to leave.

I have never had a good experience with a Dentist until I found Dr. Kuo and his team. He extracted an infected tooth with no pain or discomfort. The healing process was fast and painless! Thank you Dr. Kuo and your amazing staff for making me feel comfortable at your office. Best Dentist in Costa Mesa.

My visits with Dr. Kuo and his Staff are always so wonderful. I am so happy that I found him as my dentist. The staff are so nice and welcoming. Dr. kuo take this time to explain what he sees in my mouth in details. It is best care that I ever received from a dentist. Dr. Kuo and his Hygienist check each my tooth, exams the gum health and checking my bite issue and even doing oral cancer screening. Have you ever get one hour undivided routine care with any other dentist or doctors? The best part is the information on how i should take care my oral health at home. For example, I have deep pocket which is hard to keep them clean. Nikole, the Hygienist, show me how I can use floss, waterpike, and gum product to avoid the condition getting worse. Dr. Kuo showed me that I have sharp cusp on my molars. I really need to watch on my grading. He is very conservative and always wants to make sure his work is the best for me. I have to say that I truly enjoy every visit to my dentist.

This place is Awesome. I came in for a routine checkup and cleaning and was impressed from the start. The front office had called my insurance in advance and had that all ready to go for me before hand so I knew exactly what to expect. After meeting the Dr. I felt like he did a GREAT job explaining my treatment. He took time to answer all of my questions and it felt nice to be understood. After meeting with him the front office lady went over the cost of my treatment and explained in depth what the insurance will cover and what my out of pocket expense will be. I feel like this office is very fair, honest and truly have their patients best interest at heart. I wasn’t just another pt. My concerns were heard and I left feeling like we had accomplished something together. I will definitely be back. In fact, I look forward to it. Highly recommended to anyone in Costa Mesa looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Kuo is the best dentist I’ve ever been to, and I get regular check ups every six months.  He is kind and easy to talk to, and very talented with his techniques.  Above all else, he is ETHICAL, which sadly is something you really have to watch with dentists these days. I had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Kuo and by the time I asked if he had given me my shot of novocaine, he’d already taken the tooth out.  I didn’t feel a thing!  He also helped me get a frenectomy, snipping the little pice of gums under my top lip so the gap between my teeth would go away.  He referred me to an oral surgeon, and that experience was also pleasant. For convenience, I made a mistake of trying to go to a dentist closer to my job (I work far from home) and it was a nightmare!  The other dentist tried to tell me I needed special deep cleaning every few months which would have cost my insurance company $1000 a pop!  I was so sad that this other dentist was totally ripping people off. When I returned back to Dr. Kuo, he told me my teeth were fine and that we would watch a stain on one of my back teeth that the other dentist wanted to drill.  He showed me everything from the flexible video camera as it was in my mouth.  I will NEVER make the mistake of going to another dentist again as long as Dr. Kuo is in business!  I highly recommend him to everyone I know.  Another bonus is that his office is in the absolutely gorgeous turnip rose building, full of beautiful woodwork and history. Amazing results!!! Amazing. Office!!!  Wonderful personnel!!!  Joanne makes you feel right at home and sincerely welcome at the office. Dr. KUO (Tony) is both professional and meticulous. His staff is warm and courteous. I have received numerous compliments on my new “smile” provided by Tony’s exceptional veneers. He excepts nothing less than “perfect” and works tirelessly until the procedure is indeed perfect. I highly recommend this office for cosmetic dentistry procedures and continue to love my new smile! One of the best dentist I’ve been to.. I haven’t been to the dentist in 12 years and as you can imagine I had a lot of work to be done.  First off was deep cleaning in which I just had it done yesterday and can I tell you I was terrified.  But Dr. Kuo was amazing!! Truly gentle and kind and I remember him saying I’m proud of you.  Joanne is just comforting, you can tell she cares a lot about you and makign sure you feel comfortable.  I will highly recommend this place and becuase of their greatness to make me feel comfortable, I am now on my way to having a healthy mouth.

I have been going to Atrium Cosmetic and Family Dentistry since early 2016. I had to have some pretty serious and extensive work done and they have been fantastic the whole way through. Crowns, root canals, cleanings you name it I’ve probably had it done. Dr. Kuo and his staff always make sure I am cormfortable and educated in my treatment plan. All of his staff are friendly and proffesional. I highly recommend Atrium Dentistry! Thank you for giving my smile back!!
