2018 I’ve been coming to Dr. D for over 10 years. I know many people are afraid of the dentist, but the entire office is beyond accommodating and supportive. And Dr. D is legit! Dr. De Olivera, Dr. “D”, as he is affectionately called in his office, is honest, competent, personable, and caring. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Wow! Where do I begin… I have finally found the best dentist. Dr. De Oliviera and his staff are truly the best. They make you feel comfortable and like you are family. They explain each and everything they are doing and ensure that you are comfortable and at ease. I came in with some pretty bad pain and within one visit he was able to take X-rays, diagnosis the problems and get a full root canal done-crown and all in one visit! I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to not have to come back to get your permeant crown. He makes the crowns in office and let me tell you it is beautiful. Dr. D also advised me I would need two extractions and implants done. Hearing this I wasn’t excited but knew I was in the best hands. After all, he wrote a book on implants and spends his spare time teaching dentists around the states how to execute the perfect dental implants. So happy I found Dr. de Oliviera!

We established August De Oliveira DDS office in 2000, and many patients have been coming to us from Los Angeles and nearby areas for their dental needs for over 40 years. At our office we take great pride in providing high quality, high tech patient care while still treating each and every patient as if they were our close friends or family. Many of our patients are surprised by the fact that we almost always run on time, delivering nearly painless dentistry in an efficient manner. By lecturing Nationwide, Dr. de Oliveira stays on top of many of the advancements in digital dentistry and showcases his work to the very critical eye of thousands of dentists each year. Dr. August de Oliveira graduated in the top 10% of his class at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1997. After moving to Los Angeles from Seattle, Dr. de Oliveira did an optional additional year in a General Practice Residency at the VA Sepulveda where he learned advanced techniques in Endodontics (Root Canals), Dental Implants, and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. de Oliveira lectures weekly all over the nation on three subjects: CAD/CAM (same day crowns), CBCT (3D x-rays), and dental implants. On implants, he lectures from the basics of single tooth implants, to advanced Edentulous (no teeth) treatment. He has been published in many peer reviewed journals and is widely recognized as a pioneer in CBCT Guided Surgery. Dr. de Oliveira has developed software for numerous dental companies and has authored two text books on dental implants.
