I went in for a regular cleaning and checkup and I was delighted with the service that was provided. The office adhered to stringent COVID-19 health protocols. Everyone was friendly and helpful. All of my questions were answered and the answers were explained. This office is highly efficient. It was a pleasant and enjoyable experience to have my dental checkup completed at this office.

I always love coming into this office. I know that I will be taken care of in such a professional manner and the staff is beyond friendly. Everyone goes out of their way to make sitting in a dentist chair comfortable. And Dr. Toland is amazing. She knows exactly how to take care of any problems that my husband or I have in regard to any dental issues

I love Dr. Toland and Dr. Clarke’s office!! You feel comfortable the moment you walk in and are greeted with a friendly welcome. The staff are incredibly kind and professional, offering blankets to keep you cozy and sunglasses to decrease brightness. Dr. Toland is an amazing dentist. She walks you through each step explaining her exam and what she is looking for. I just had a clean bill of dental health thanks to the help and guidance of Dr. Toland! It feels good to go to the dentist!

Today I found my forever dental office! Dr. Meghan Toland did a thorough exam after I had my FMX taken by a very gentle dental assistant, Doina. All the staff were so friendly and never rushed the appointment. They were also very diligent with temperature checks, sanitized operatories, and check in from my phone. I was able to view my digital X-rays and also the very informative photos  that were taken of my teeth with Dr. Toland.  Jackie helped me make my next appointment and handed me a sanitized pen to add it to my planner. The entire experience was so positive. This is a genuinely friendly professional office! Thank you all!

I visited Dr Toland this summer for a series of complex procedures including new veneers, caps, and crowns. I could not be more happy with the results and the experience! Her staff were very friendly and helpful, and Dr Toland demonstrated incredible skill and expertise through the procedure. And my teeth have never looked better! My work requires me to be on Zoom video calls several hours each day, and I have never received so many compliments on my new smile! I absolutely dread going to the dentist, but ever since joining the family at authentic dental designs, my fear and anxiety has disappeared.  From Meghan at the front desk, greeting me by my first name each time, to my hygeninist, Rebecca, educating me and answering any questions I may have, to Dr. Toland herself, making every process seamless and comforting, my experience has been nothing short of amazing every time. I’ve been going to this team for over a year now, and rest assured I would highly recommend them to anybody. I’m happy to have put my smile in their hands!

I was referred by a close friend to come see Meghan Toland and I’m glad I did. Even though I loved going to the dentist as a kid, I have struggled the last 10+ years with pretty extreme fear/anxiety of having dental work done due to multiple botched experiences in the past. Meghan and her staff have helped me to get over a lot of these fears, they are all very nice and trustworthy, I am glad to have found their business!

Dr Toland and her staff are the best!  I recently took my mom in for a routine checkup and Dr Toland noticed some irregular lesions in her mouth. She went out of her way to make my mom an appointment with an oral surgeon that day because she was concerned. Luckily all tests came out clear but that type of service is exceptional. Also when my parents needed deep cleanings her staff has always been very gentle. I also go there and appreciate their professionalism and true concern for their patients, they are unmatched. I wouldn’t go to any other dental office. They are hands down the best!

I highly recommend Dr. Toland and her team. They are so respectful of your time while still being thorough during appointments. During my Invisalign process with Dr. Toland, I have had many appointments (which is normal during the treatment) and it has never interfered with work thanks to their office hours and efficiency. Having had cleanings, exams and Invisalign, I can also say that their costs are very fair, competitive and worth it. Even with being a more complicated patient, as far as treatments go, I can say I have always felt very comfortable and well taken care of there!

I highly recommend Dr. Meghan Toland. She found an inexpensive solution to cover the brown spots on the tops of my bottom teeth. I though I would 4 expensive crowns. Dr. Toland offered a technique that no other dentist had ever suggested that solved the problem with a fraction of the cost, and the treatment was painless and took no time at all. 40 years of excellence: Dr Anderson, Dr. Clarke and now Dr. Toland. Today she de-cavitated and filled 4 cavities in 1 1/2 hours and 2 turned out to be deep. I salute her and her staff on top-notch service and dental abilities.Today was a cleaning visit and I learned a lot from dental assistant on continuing to improve gum growth and prevent cavities! A drop of tea tree oil on brush or in toothpaste can do both. I felt all around team effort!

Dr. Toland is a wonderful dentist. She uses the latest technology to provide the best treatment in the shortest amount of time. (Sometimes you don’t even have to come back for a second appointment for a crown! And there’s no messy impression material or temporaries.) If you’re looking for a dentist in La Mesa, look no further!

Dr. Toland oversaw my Invisalign treatment masterfully and I am so happy with the results! She is so knowledgable and you can tell she loves her job and truly cares for her patients. Dr. Toland and her staff are the best in everything they do!  It was my first visit to have two crowns placed on my implants and everything went so smoothly right from the beginning.  The office location is great and easy to get to with plenty of parking available.  The office itself is bright and cheerful with a very calming atmosphere.  I was greeted with a friendly smile as soon as I arrived and was soon seated in the chair for an amazing high-tech scan of my teeth which was used to create and build my crowns right in the office.  When ready, the crowns were a perfect fit, popped right into place, and needed very little adjustment.  This new technology is great, no more waiting 1-2 weeks to have crowns made in an outside lab.  I also had whitening completed to match my new teeth which was done right in the office in less than an hour.  All of the dental costs, insurance coverage, and billing policies were explained up front before the work was even started so no surprises.  All in all, a very  worthwhile couple of hours spent with a very talented, friendly, and dedicated staff of professionals.  Thanks for my new teeth – they’re working out great!

Dr. Meghan Toland is the most gentle and caring dentist that I have ever experienced. The minute you walk into the office, you feel calm and comfortable.The entire staff is friendly and professional and you can tell they love their job. In addition, they have state of the art technology. I had a crown replaced on my front tooth in one day and it looks beautiful! I highly recommend this dental office.

I went to Dr. Toland cause my filling came out, I thought I was just going to get another filling but it turned out that I needed a root canal. Now I don’t like the dentist or needles, but Dr  Toland and her staff made me feel welcome and relaxed. The staff is great, the office was very nice, and its in a good location. BEST. DENTISTS. EVER. BEST. STAFF. EVER. 7 years ago, i found Dr. Clake when i was having pain and swelling due to putting off my regular cleanings ( who knew?/??) My friend recommended the office and they were able to get me in right away the next A.M. The office looked clean and the work/treatments they do were the ones i was looking for. Now they have moved to downtown LA mesa the new location and upgraded office is even better!! Although my dentist is Dr. Clarke, Dr. Toland is equally GREAT. I would know since i have been going to them every month for the past two years (invisaligns). if Dr. Clarke was not available, i wouldn’t even think twice about it when Dr. Toland steps in to see me. I trust them both. I was always afraid of showing my teeth to people because of my crooked teeth, and they were now moving- after loosing a retainer I had while I was in the military, I was accidentally catching my lip in the gap every time i spoke! I needed work on them and thanks to Dr. Clarkes recommendations on how to make my smile better, I love my smile even more now! She always has your best interest in mind and that’s why i love going to her as well as recommending M. Clarke to my friends/coworkers. Celeste the Office manager as well as the assistants and staff are always friendly and welcoming. they do not ever overbook, so you will not be waiting for hours for your appointment.
