I’ve been going to Dr. Vahid for the past 5 years and love the practice. The front desk staff are very knowledgeable with my insurance plan and they are very helpful. The dental assistants are experienced and kind. The hygienist and the doctor are gentle and know what they are doing. I highly recommend the practice!

Great dentist and amazing staff. The dentist is very caring and very knowledgeable. He explains everything in details and tries to offer any help possible. The staff are all great, Very nice and fair people. The office manager is very accommodating and understanding. I got some much work done here and will definitely be going back for more work in a few weeks. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Really terrific expereince — if that is possible at the dentist! I was not happy with my previous dentists in Jersey City and tried AV Dental. Dr. Vahid is a great. Clean, high tech office, with polite and helpful staff. Dr. Vahid was very good at talking to me about a procedure I was considering, and was more concerned with finding me the right option rather than just doing work, which I have not found true of many dentists. When i decided to proceed with the procedure, he spent the time needed with me to do the job right and I was thrilled with the results. All in all, a great dental office. I will be back soon, but hopefully not for six months 🙂

All my life I have been the type of person who would get nervous at the dentist. (We all know that we have nothing to fear) But, the feeling of being there sometimes makes me feel uneasy. But, at this clinic is something totally different. As we started my appointment they did everything to make sure I was comfortable and at ease. They made sure all my questions are answered, and explained everything as we went through the process. They truly know how to make a patient feel at ease. I would recommend this clinic for any of your dental needs.

Love this place and the people. Dr Vahid is the man, very down to earth. He did some crowns for me and really takes his time with you to ensure you are happy, unlike other dentists who want to get you out the door as fast as possible. Staff is great, Shirley the receptionist always looks out for you. I needed an appointment pushed up and she reached out to me when one freed up. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I am not a fan of the dentist at all but this office really put me at ease during my first visit here.  From the receptionist all the way down to the hygienist, everyone was super friendly! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.  I was so blown away by the care and customer service I had asked the young lady at the front desk, Cristal I believe she said her name was, what everyone’s name was. As she offered to point out the staff by name she asked if there was anything she could personally do to make my visit more pleasant! She was genuinely concerned and that was great to see. The hygienist was quick and efficient and Dr. V knew exactly how to calm my nerves. What an awesome team.

By far the best dentist I ever had!! Dr. V is cool, experienced, knowledgeable and fair. Even when he is running behind or super busy he takes the time give you the attention needed and makes it up to the patient. I love the staff every time I come and enjoy the Netflix account on their TVs. He is working wonders on my new smile and I can’t wait to see the end result.

I have been to AVDental 3 times now since moving from Wisconsin a year ago. Dr. Arash and his staff are very professional, courteous and “on time”. One of the best experiences for me since my move. I would recommend them highly if you are in need of any dental work in the Jersey City area. Thank you AVDental for your friendly welcome, for this Midwest guy it is greatly appreciated! Want to add that I went back today(March 2nd) for a quick follow up visit to see how my new dental implant was doing. I had the initial peg/screw inserted a week ago today. I am not familiar with the congested traffic yet of Journal Square, so did not know how hard it would be to find a parking spot. I drove into a parking lot that was going to try and charge me $17 an hour, however I negotiated down to $6 per 1/2 hour if I could be back in 30 minutes. I want to congratulate AVDental for saving me $11 as I was in and out in 15 minutes for my checkup! Needless to say, the parking lot attendant was surprised, and not happy when I rushed back and said “10 minutes to spare:)”! Thanks Dr. Arash for taking the X-ray and making the exam so efficient! Easily the best dentist’s office I have ever been to. I have major dental phobia and had to have a root canal and 4 fillings. Every single person that works here was so nice every time I’ve been. Even people who weren’t working directly with me would say hello and check in with me each time. It made the experience much less terrifying. They are also know the ins and outs of insurance plans and will make sure you don’t get any bogus charges. So weird for a dentist’s office but it seems like they really do care about you AND your wallet! On top of that, Dr. V is a great dentist who explains everything to you clearly and honestly. I felt no pain whatsoever throughout all my procedures. He did a great job calming my fears and making sure I was comfortable. Dr. V is definitely my permanent dentist! I cannot recommend this office highly enough, book an appointment before everyone finds out how awesome they are and you can’t get in!

I’ve always been pretty apprehensive about the dentist however once I came into Dr. Vahid’s care all my concerns were addressed and he was super patient with me and made me feel very comfortable and therefore less scared. His chair side manner is great he takes his time and made me understand all the treatment I needed. I needed lots of work the office also worked with me with the finances. They helped me apply for an in house finance service to help me pay my treatment. This had to be the easiest dental experience I have had, I plan to stay with DR. Vahid for years to come. The staff is all great as well

Been going to Dr. V since he opened in 2012 and have never felt so comfortable in a dental office until i went there. Office is modern, exceptionally clean, and does not feel like your normal dental practice. Staff up front are very friendly along with dr. V assistants. Had some fillings 2 weeks back and did not have any sensitivity during or after the procedure…which is always a fear of mine. Proud to have dr. Vahid as my dentist. Two thumbs for this office.

I was in so much pain from an infected tooth, and AV fit me in as a new patient right away. A tooth extraction is never going to be my favorite way to spend an afternoon, but everyone in this office made it as minimally unpleasant an experience as possible. I cannot speak highly enough about the care they took and the knowledgable nature and professionalism of the whole staff.

I absolutely love Dr. V and his team in the jersey city office. They are beyond welcoming, willing to go the extra mile to explain any concerns, making sure you’re comfortable before any procedure and the best part is that you feel nothing!! Dr.V does a great job as I’ve had multiple fillings and a root canal and didn’t even have to take medication..talk about doing your job right!! Very very happy with them and look forward to going back for dental cleaning and any other dental needs.

I can’t express how much I loved my experience at AV Dental. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Cristal and Shirley are very polite and courteous on the phone and in person. Now, I have EXTREME anxiety going to the dentist…to the point where I am constantly switching because I feel traumatized by each one. AV Dental is the first office I’ve ever felt comfortable and genuinely cared for. Raul (dental assistant) did my patient survey and X-rays. I’m always embarrassed to go over my dental history and anxiety, but he was so easy to talk to and assured me I wasn’t alone, encouraging me to be as open as possible so they can address any insecurities I have. Dr. V has such positive energy and his animated character makes it hard to be serious (and super anxious) in his presence. He went through my X-rays with me and what treatments to consider, explaining each one to me. I decided to have my very first root canal a few days later and I have to say, it was the most pain-free dental procedure I’ve ever had!!!! Like I’ve had regular fillings that were far more painful and I was in complete shock when it was over! Danielle assisted him and was super sweet, talking to me and trying her best to keep me comfortable. Can’t forget to mention, I was able to get my final crown in about an hour (they have 3D printers!!). I’m sorry I didn’t hear about Dr. V sooner, but so thankful I finally found him. Highly recommend him to anyone!!!

Dr. V and the staff at AV dental have been nothing but helpful and professional. I always felt safe during my procedure, Dr. V made sure that my comfort was his #1 priority. Like many people, I was insecure about the current state of my teeth. Choosing a dentist is a big decision, that can drastically improve your self-confidence. Happy to say that choosing Dr. V was the right decision!

AV Dental is by far the best Dental Facility in all of Hudson County.  You have to see this place..its a brand new, clean, state of the art facility. “Dr. V” and his staff are caring, nice, and professional.  Dr. V answered all my questions and removed all my fears of going to a dentist.  His front staff and assistant are friendly and make you feel comfortable.  Dr. V made my smile look 100% better and I gets endless complements.  i will definitely keep him as my dentist as long as I am in this area.

I had the worst wisdom tooth pain and was turned away from so many places. I called AV Dental and even when they had patients they still made room for my emergency! Dr. V was very professional and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease, in fact the whole staff was great !!!! Needless to say I’m switching.

AV Dental changed the way I feel about going to the dentist. Staff is polite and professional. The entire facility is clean. Ernesto the hygienist is very knowledgeable and gentle. I had not had a cleaning in some years and was nervous. He took extra care to make sure I was not uncomfortable and explained everything which I appreciated. I am no longer scared of cleanings. Dr. V is also one of a kind. He gives you his attention and also explains things very well. He was also very patient with me. They are up front about plan of care and the cost (what your insurance pays etc). No other dentist I have been to compares to AV dental! My husband and I love them!

I have been a patient of Doc V since he established his office on Newark Ave in Jersey City, NJ. Doc V and his team are phenomenal! Superb customer service from his staff. They are professional and courteous, well organized even when I’m late for my appointments. His entire staff is great, but Claudia, Johanna & Liz are exceptional in terms of the service they provide. The office is sterile and well organized which eliminates the fear of going to the dentist. Doc V has an excellent bedside manner, has mad jokes while performing your dental work(smile). I’ve gone to this dentist twice so far and I will go again.  Dr. Vahid is professional, yet down to Earth, and he knows his stuff.  Most importantly, I feel comfortable with him.  I have had fillings done and cleanings.  I think he did a great job.  Most of the staff is friendly, but I did run into one staff member when I first went and she seemed to have an attitude problem.  Maybe, she was having a bad day, I don’t know.  However, I dismissed that because my main concern is having a good dentist.  Dr. Vahid has given me great service thus far.

Horrible Customer Service. My wisdom tooth was bothering me. The doctor helped me and told me that I needed 3 fillings beside my wisdom tooth extraction, he was very nice. The major problem at that office was Sherly. I wanted to schedule an appointment and she told me my insurance only covers half of it, I know my insurance and what they cover. I told her that she needed to call a specific agent at my insurance since is through my job and it’s a different plan. She said that she called and I have to pay half of it. I told her from the beginning that the Insurance I have and that we have a different agent that deals with my job insurance coverage and her respond was that I have to wait 30 days for her to submit an estimate. I received several messages on my phone on Saturday and I decided to call in order to confirm if she got the right information from my insurance. Overall, there was a miss understanding due to her negative towards the situation. She wants to do everything whenever she wants, which is bad because patients are in need of a service that is causing them problem AND TIME IS VERY IMPORTANT because I’m having an ongoing problem with my wisdom tooth. My insurance sent her a email and a few calls stating that everything is cover but I decided not to proceed due to her lack of good customer service. Also, I wanted my I FULL MOUTH X-RAYS & PANOMARIC in order to proceed with my widsom tooth treatment with the doctor that was referred by Dr. Vahid. She stated that I have to pay $25 in order to get the my X-RATED & PANAROMIC, which is unfair since they are the one transferring me to this Oral Surgeon. Sherly attitude is putting the dentist in a bad position since the Doctor is very polite and friendly. The Doctor should consider hiring a new Office Manager if not he would lose a lot of patients. My first visit at AV Dental, it was very welcoming I could tell I was gonna have a good experience. I walked to the front desk and they were very kind and soothing for my first dental experience in a while. Then I met Dr V. usually get very nervous during dental procedures but he keep me calm and answered all my questions. Dr V and his team are the best and I will continue to go there and would highly recommended them. To anyone. I rarely ever write reviews but this is one really deserves it.

I’ve been living in Jersey City for the past 5 years and tried out different dentists and I was never satisfied.  The other day I went to AV dental on a friend’s recommendation and I think I found the one!  The office is spotless, the staff are friendly and Dr. Vahid is so nice  and knowledgeable, he took his time with the exam and then patiently walked me through all the procedures.  I always look for detail oriented doctors and Dr. Vahid is definitely one of them.  I’ll definitely go back!
