I couldn’t be happier with the cleaning and fillings I done at Breeze Dental. My hygienist was amazing and very thorough. Dr Peifer was excellent! I received a hand written note thanking me for coming in and a personal call from him as well the day after I had a few fillings done. The staff is so helpful and amazing, over the phone and in the office. They treat me like I have been a patient for years! I would recommend this office to everyone! I look forward to having all my dental needs met here because I know I am in great hands!

One of the beat dentist experiences I’ve had! I saw doctor K and she was so sweet! Saw a few other people in the appointment and everyone did such a good job of explaining what they were doing, and making me feel comfortable in the process. They are timely with appts. They will not try to do any work that is not necessary and their theory is if it’s doing OK then let’s leave it until it’s not. I love that rather than giving you a list of things to fix before it’s necessary. I have been going there for years and my teeth are feeling and looking great and highly highly recommend them. Pricing is also great but the quality is even better.

Ever since I moved from East Coast, I have been trying to find a new dentist. I have huge anxiety when it comes going to the dentist. When I found Avalon Dental, I made appointment. This is by far the best dentist in Gilbert. I came here to get a second opinion on excessive recommended dental work and they only recommended half of what the other place wanted to do. I was in need of a new dentist and through an insurance search found Breeze Dental. They were able to get me in that same day which is unheard of! The entire staff was extremely nice and very genuine. Although I was there for nearly two hours (like I said, I needed a dentist), it seemed like only a few minutes. My hygienist, Angie was very thorough and reassuring about my condition. Dr Peifer was great as well, we had lots to chat about coaching baseball, etc. I would highly recommend this dentistry practice.

Below I will tell the brief story of how Dr. Peifer and Avalon Dental saved me approximately $14,900 in dental work. Unfortunately, I received a coupon in the mail for XO Dentistry in Gilbert, Arizona, promising an exam, x-rays, and cleaning for $69. That sounded like a good deal and I was due for a cleaning, so I made an appointment. Upon entering that office, I was taken promptly to my exam area. A staff member proceeded to take x-rays and pictures. She seemed completely inexperienced. The X-rays hurt quite bad, and I have never experienced pain from x rays before. She then took high definition pictures of my teeth, and placed a monitor right in front of my face so that I could see the pictures. As a I later realized, that was likely a marketing technique. My teeth (and yours also most likely) do not look pretty that close up, and those images would provide an opportunity for Dr. Abedi to “improve” my smile. So, after shes done taking the pictures and x-rays, Dr. Abedi comes in. He spend maybe 5-10 minutes examining my teeth. He then says they cannot do a cleaning because I need a deep cleaning in my entire mouth. He said he will give me a “discount” of 20% (what kind of dentist gives discounts?) so that the deep cleaning will “only” cost about $900. I tell him that I want a normal cleaning in accordance with the coupon, but he says that the hygienist is out of the office (why the hell would you schedule an appointment for an exam, x rays, and cleaning when the hygienist is out of the office?). Remarkably, he then also claims that I have extremely receding gums and that I NEED about 15 gum grafts, and that, because I do not have insurance, he will lower the cost of EACH GRAFT from $1200 to $980. So, yes, within 10 minutes of meeting me, he claimed that I needed approximately $15,000 in dental work. I was aware I had some gum recession, but had seen many other periodontists and dentists and believed that the recession was not as serious as this Doctor Abedi made it sound. Luckily, I made an appointment here at Avalon Dentist. Dr. Peifer examined me and told me that I have some recession but am not at any risk of losing functional value of the teeth and that I only need a basic (not deep) cleaning every 6 months. His office then set me up with a cleaning the very next day, and charged me only $100 for the exam and cleaning, saving me, in essence, saving me $14,900.

If you haven’t heard already.. This is the best dental office! I could ramble on about bad experiences with other dentists who shouldn’t be allowed to practice, but instead I’m grateful that those bad events led me to this office filled with great people! From the front desk to the hygienist (Nicole) and Dentist they are honest, knowledgeable and super easy to work with. I always leave my appts feeling happy and relieved! If you have ever had a bad experience at a doctor then you understand what that means! I moved way up north and still drive the hour and 10 min. to see these guys! It is a hassle with my toddler but it is so so worth it!

I’ve been going to Avalon Dental since it was originally called Breeze Dental back in 2010. I have to say that this is the BEST dental office I have ever been to. Many companies promise to treat you like family, but this small business delivers. Today I got my new crown. I recently cracked and lost part of a back tooth. The staff @ Avalon Dental were able to see me early the next business day; I wasn’t in any pain but knew something had gone awry. In about an hour they had numbed the impacted area, and x-rayed and diagnosed the tooth. Then took the impressions for a new crown and provided me with my temporary so I could get back to chewing painlessly. My wife absolutely loves this dental office. Every single person on the staff is kind, extremely friendly, and knows exactly what they are doing. Dr. Peifer is amazing. They expertly handled our 4 year old for her first real dental appointment and made her comfortable. On top of that, the office staff helps to keep her entertained while my wife has her own appointment. Who likes going to the dentist? I mean, maybe you are a weirdo and you do, but I certainly never have! But, from the moment I stepped into Avalon Dental, I was put at ease. Friendly front desk staff really set the tone for a positive experience. Celeste was wonderful and leaves a great, lasting first impression. The office was running just a tad behind (5 minutes or so), and the tech, Erica, was super apologetic about the wait. I used to work in the medical field so I understand sometimes things get hectic, but her genuine apologies led me to believe that even something as small as a 5 minute wait isn’t acceptable to them–love that! Additionally, everyone I encountered in the office was smiling, friendly, and cheerful. I thought I had a cavity but after my exam with Dr. Peifer, he assured me that there were no cavities, that we would watch an old chipped tooth repair, but it could wait until my finances were in a better place. He was very nice and didn’t come across as arrogant or bored. We chit chatted about kids and books, and it was very nice! I returned the next day for a routine cleaning (I had scheduled the two appointments separately because I thought I needed a filling), and had checked in and hadn’t even sat down before the hygienist called me back! She was a lovely person and did an excellent job on my teeth. I am new to the area and absolutely loved my experience at Avalon Dental! From the first phone call through check out, I was treated with respect and like a dear old friend. I will absolutely be returning for my dental needs in the future, and would happily and without reservation recommend Dr. Peifer and his excellent team to anyone looking for a thorough and knowledgable dental experience in a relaxing atmosphere.

Thank you to Avalon Dental. The majority of my experience with Dentists is going to get things that the Army did to my teeth fixed! I have had a very hard time in AZ finding a Dentist that is honest, professional and does decent work. I am so grateful for Avalon and the entire staff. This is the first dental experience in Arizona where I didn’t have to meet with a closer and negotiate my bill before we could even talk about getting work done. First, it was found out during my emergency exam due to a broken tooth during COVID 19 lockdown that i was in need of a root canal that needed a specialist. I was referred out, expected at the other facility and insurance was already properly communicated. Let me say that again. AVALON DENTAL SET ME UP WITH A SEPARATE PROFESSIONAL TO PROPERLY CARE FOR ME AND ENSURED THAT THEY EVEN HAD MY INFO SO IT WOULD BE LESS STRESSFUL. After getting the necessary treatment done at the specialist I was now ready for Avalon. They welcomed me back, where prepared for my visit and even had my insurance in place…. excuse me while I wipe away tears of joy at the level of PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Their staff is caring and friendly on top of knowing their jobs

I really can not say enough good things about Breeze Dental. I have a back injury and have a hard time with my appointments, sometimes having to split one appointment into two. They are so accommodating! I really feel like they are concerned with my care and comfort. My father in-law is coming in as a new patient and we’ve had to cancel his appointment twice with less than 24 hours notice in the last few months (both times were because he had to go to the ER and was admitted to the hospital). We felt really bad the first time and horrible the second time (he didn’t want to go to the ER until after his dentist appointment because he had already cancelled once, also because of an emergency). Today when I called, I spoke to Sam and told her to charge us for the appointment time missed but her only concern was for my 85 year old father in-law! She told me not to worry. I don’t know many people who look forward to going to the dentist but you just might with Breeze Dental. They stand out because they really care about their patients. I got to tell my worried father in-law that they sent their best wishes to him which is comforting when you’re in the hospital! Also, I had some expensive dental needs coming up but Dr Peifer discussed my options with me and helped me find a cheaper way! He also took care of a dental eyesore for me right after I asked him about it! Huh? (Filed my front teeth) Fantastic! He’s not about giving a laundry list of expensive ways to spend your money and he/his staff look for ways to make sure you’re comfortable. (Spray to keep from gagging during x-rays?! It really worked! Plus she sprinted from me to the machine and back to reduce my discomfort time. Amazingly considerate!)
