Dr Kumar and his staff are friendly, professional, and put you at ease throughout each visit. As a new patient, I was treated like I’ve been their patient for years with friendly smiles, easy conversations, and great service. The initial visit was patient-centered, thorough and filled with explanations of what they were doing in my mouth. My second visit was just as easy as I had a cavity filled. He and his assistant were gentle and really cared about my comfort throughout the procedure. At the end of each visit, Dr Kumar reviewed the cleaning and procedure on a large screen by showing me pictures of the x-rays and pictures that he took throughout filling my cavity that showed the decay. This was right up my alley as I like to know what’s going on! You and your teeth will be happy at Dr Kumar’s office.

This was such a great experience!!! I was not a patient at this office prior to my needing to be seen for an emergency today. The staff got me right in, and took terrific care of me. Dr Kumar is gentle, patient, kind and detail oriented. Sarah his assistant, was friendly, knowledgeable and comforting throughout my procedure. They are a great team and really in sync with one another. I would highly recommend this practice.

I suffered with facial pain for nine years. I was unable to brush my teeth let alone go to a dentist. When the condition was finally resolved, I knew I had to once again get dental care. I saw several dentists and was very distraught because I couldn’t find one who cared to understand my fear of a reoccurrence of my condition as a result of dental work. Then I found Dr. Kumar, Molly and Cynthia and the staff at Avon Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. They are not just outstanding professionals but wonderful, kind, and caring people. It is over an hour drive for me to their office but I would drive hours more if needed to continue as their patient.

As a child I had some terrible expierences at the dentist. Over the years I have never found a dentist I like or felt comfortable with. Needless to say this has made me avoid going for years. Well the time has come where I need help with sleep apnea and I met Dr. Kumar and his staff in East Windsor CT. Everyone in this office is fantastic! Friendly courteous service doesn’t describe it enough. I actually enjoyed my cleaning, which I did not think was possible! I will never go anywhere else and for the first time do not dread making my follow up appointments. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Rakesh is a perfectionist and one of the best dentist in the areas. Even though he was not my primary dentist, I had called him over last Saturday weekend late evening for a help in pain of my tooth ( when my primary dentist did not had an emergency ph number to contact in case of emergency ) and was on call with me to issue the medication to reduce my pain and even talk to pharmacy mid-night to help me in prescription. Pain was reduced for Sunday and was able to wait for Monday. Monday he looked into detail and spent a lot of time with utmost patience on the issue and referred me to other dentist for an RC and got my RC done on Tuesday morning. He followed up couple of times next day to check on me and how I was feeling. He has been always helpful and takes time on diagnosis always. Will always recommend him to anyone. Front desk support Cynthia is also awesome and helps the process go smooth and all staff is excellent and very supportive. The place is super clean. Highly recommend again.

Kumar is extremely gifted with all the procedures that I have had in his office: he is gentle, takes his time, and makes sure that I am comfortable all the time. WOW – you want a dentist with top skills (active teacher) as well as laser (usually no novacaine needed) and an organized and professionally run office — here it is. I just love Dr R and the whole staff. He is up to date on all the latest techniques and the laser has saved me from going to a periodontist several times (that means nearly painless laser versus stitches and lots of bad stuff.) I am so grateful to have found him. He takes several dental plans. I don’t think you will be disappointed. His office is in that little shopping area behind the big rocking chair.
