I never experienced someone so kind and gentle. Dr. Opokuaddo delivered an excellent cleaning and was quite fast, very attentive to my needs and concerns especially having not visited a dentist in a while. I felt so self conscious about my mouth and she told me I have perfect teeth! I found my new dentist and I’m so excited to refer others to her!

So I called to make an appointment because one of my teeth broke and it was becoming very sensitive. I’ve gotta say 1st off my experience was outstanding They took several xrays of my teeth and had seen where my fillings were basically old,and I had 2 teeth that were decaying underneath my old fillings.Nana (dentist) talked to me Explaining why my tooth couldn’t be saved and the options that I had. I chose to have my tooth removed right then and I will tell you I felt absolutely nothing It was totally pain free and she is awesome!! I go back in 2 weeks to have a few more fillings replaced,6 months for another cleaning. Hands down this is the best dentist I have ever been too. I was so happy with my experience when I got home I told my son who then called and got a same day appointment for issues hes had for over a year. The entire office is very caring and wonderful❣

I came to Aya Dental after researching for the best practice that was both covered by my insurance and close to home, and I am pleased with my choice. Everyone in the office was very friendly, my pain and sensitivity concerns were addressed, and the cleaning was great. I usually dread and avoid the dentist because they always find some cause for fillings which are the source of my sensitivity. I expected to need several more after years without attention but Dr. Opokuaddo does not seem to recommend unnecessary work and I did not need any—who doesn’t love to hear that?

My first time going to this place and it was the best place i have ever been . fixed my teeth with no problem at all .. And i hope my insuarance pays for my dentures because i love this place everyone there is so nice and makes you feel welcomed and i cant wait for them to call me to come back . cus what little teeth i have left they fixed them and made them really good i cant wait to get my teeth to have a beautiful smile im super excited

Beyond the 5 star rating. I called a dozen dentists in my city and tried my hardest to find one that would take me for an emergency checkup. Aspen dental actually scheduled my appointment and told me they accepted my insurance (which is care source), only to tell me “their call center makes that mistake all the time.” When I arrived to get my exam. I decided to call Aya dental while I was still in their lobby after they tried discussing payment plans with me. I told the Aya team that I’ve been having this pain on my upper and lower rows of teeth on the left side for about a month. I’ve only just gotten time off work to deal with it, and that I needed the next possible appointment to get it looked at. Bless her heart she managed to get me in the next day. I found out that it’s one of my wisdom teeth pushing against the teeth next to it, along with several cavities. The exam was much more thorough than what I’ve experienced at other places. The nurse who ran all my tests was so sweet. Dr. Nana Opokhuddo was so sweet and to the point about what needed to be done to get a deep cleaning, fill the cavities, and get those problem teeth removed. I’m probably never going to switch dental care offices now. The Aya dental office is about 22 minutes from my house (I live on the west side), but the drive is worth it. You don’t get care like this everywhere.

I’m very selective when it comes to picking a dental office as most places seem to prioritize quantity over quality of care. I got that quality care feeling with Aya Dental, most of the staff here were personable and treated me with care and respect. The visit(annual exam) was efficient and painless. The dentist was very personable and amiable as we had casual conversation before she performed my cleaning and exam! She offered me great advice for the questions I asked and I didn’t feel pressured into doing any unnecessary treatment. Thank you everyone at Aya Dental!

I had to go in for a tooth extraction and I was extremely nervous. What I feared would be a painful nightmare, turned out to be a wonderful relief! Honestly, I can’t think of any other experience I’ve ever had with a dentist that left me smiling and pain free!! I would recommend this place to anyone!! It was like going to a friend for help. I felt so comfortable that all my fears just fell away. The staff is very nice and the dentist is amazing!!
