I had been delaying my dental cleaning because of COVID. Dr. Ayas and his entire office and staff have created an incredibly clean and safe environment. Dr. Ayas took the time to carefully explain what he was seeing, and what potential options were. I’m definitely coming back, and I regret not making appointment sooner!

I think Dr. Ayas has to be one of the most beloved Dentists of in all of Arlington – and dare I say, the DC area. Courteous, personable, and passionately knowledgeable about the profession, he leads a group of stalwart professionals like a true professional team. And coming from me – a proven Dental-phobe (think hypochondriac but on the dental side), who unswervingly thinks the worst afflictions known to man relentlessly awaits the fate of my sparkling grill instantly pining to make battle with every new dental office that I enter, this is a huge vote of confidence. For a good reason too – Dr Ayas judges no one and instantly makes every patient feel confident and comfortable giving straight answers and affective solutions without any nonsense and bureaucracy. He truly makes you feel as if there is a solution to every problem. As a background – Dr. Ayas was highly recommended to me by a good friends because I had just dropped my previous dental care provider after giving them chance-after-chance, constantly judging with belittling lectures, giving me nonsensical procedures, and overcharging me with hidden fees time and time again. I was over it and needed something different – and the timing was perfect as I was due for a couple procedures that I was quite frankly pretty terrified of. Upon entering the digs, I was warmly greeted by the sweet receptionist who simply asked me for my insurance and name, and the took care of the rest. I was taken care of by the highly professional and courteous hygienist, and then when Dr. Ayas entered to do my procedure, he really put my mind to ease, joked around, made me laugh, explained what he was doing candidly, and then quickly go to work while teaching his apprentice (and consequently myself). It was quick, painless, and highly professional – Professionals like Dr. Ayas and his team are the ones who get to set the standards in my opinion – especially when we live in an age of sullen “expertise” and instant-judgement. I now find it a pleasure to go to the dentist – and I highly encourage others who are like-minded to give Dr. Ayas a chance as well. 5-brightly lit stars. Bravo!

I have always recommended Dr. Bashar to every single one asking me about a dentist in the DMV area. All my recommendations were based on the positive feedback that I got from friends. When I recommend him to someone, they come back to me with a superb satisfaction. Until a few weeks ago, when I needed a dentist myself. This is an exceptional dental practice. Dr. Ayas might be the best dentist whose care I have ever been under. Dr. Ayas is a very kind man, but what is very impressive is his gentle touch, even when you’re getting a crown replaced or other procedure. I barely felt anything when I got my gums numb prior to getting a crown replaced, which has never happened before. His staff is also excellent. Every one of his staff members are not only very capable, but they are also warm and friendly like the doctor. Scheduling has always been hassle free and they do their best to accommodate your schedule. I am very pleased to have found a dental practice like this one!

Dr. Ayas replaced a 30+ year old crown on 7/28/2016. I am very pleased with the new crown. I experienced no discomfort during the removal of the old crown or after being fitted for the temporary crown. I did not choose Novocain for the fitting of the final porcelain crown and had no discomfort while the permanent crown was installed. Dr. Ayas is highly skilled and very sensitive in dealing with his patients. He took a great deal of care with my new crown. I would highly recommend his dental practice.
