I’ve seen a few bad reviews, but I believe those are from the past doctor practicing there. My experience at Baldwin Park Family Dental (BPFD) has truly great. Dr. Ortiz and staff were amazing, always friendly and professional. You can be sure you will be treated with respect and whatever the reason is you might be coming in for, you will get a job done with excellence. At BPFD everyone is very passionate and love what they do.
Also the location is great and parking is always easy.

I have been coming here for years and always have the same wonderful dental hygienist, Liz. The staff is always professional and they are always on time for appointments. No one loves going to the dentist, but this office does a great job at making you feel comfortable and they really do get to know you. If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Baldwin Park Family Dental. There is parking on the street or around the corner and I rarely have an issue with parking. Dr. Ortiz is also super friendly and very knowledgeable, you won’t be disappointed and they take almost all dental plans.

Love this place and we have been going there as a family for 3 years now. Everyone is always so accommodating even when I have to come in for a cleaning with my two very young kids. Everyone there interacts with my kids while I’m having procedures done and the dentist is very nice and personable. Recommends procedures that maybe needed but never pushy about it . Very humble and recommend her to anyone!

Being completely new to Orlando, this dental office is the third place I’ve come to and I’m glad I did. They have the latest technology in equipment,  the staff is professional and very knowledgeable, and the environment is clean and peaceful. They listen to your concerns and address them head on. I had a very pleasant first visit today. Two thumbs up!!

We absolutely loved going to Baldwin Park Family Dental, the staff is super friendly, the service is amazing and Dr. Ortiz was great! My wife went there for a root canal, and Dr. Ortiz and her assistant explained everything, walked us through the procedure and made sure my wife was comfortable at all times. If you don’t have a dentist yet, I recommend you to try it out I’m sure you will love it too!

Yes I do not like to go to the dentist ever since I was 8. I had spacers in at that age and had to go once a week for atleast a year to get them adjusted. Now that I am 51, I still get that anxiety but it has greatly subsided since finding Baldwin Family dentist over a year ago. Their ability to make you feel relaxed and their gentle hand ensures me that we found the right dentist.

I have been a patient at this practice for years and have always recommended it to friends, but haven’t found time to write a review. Following my 8YO son’s recent experience, I now feel compelled to compose one. My son chipped his front permanent tooth really badly in a freak accident. We called the office, and they were able to rearrange the schedule and see him within an hour, in the meantime providing us with advice on how to keep him comfortable. While he was being seen, and as it turned out that the larger part of his tooth was gone and the nerve exposed, the staff tirelessly worked to find an endodontist specialist to perform a root canal the same day. As a result, several hours later, his considerable discomfort has ended. The next day, he was seen again and his tooth beautifully restored. I cannot thank Dr. Ortiz and her staff enough for their compassion and kindness and remain in awe of their efficiency and quality of care.

Everything went according to and sometimes beyond my expectations. I received thorough explanations on the state of my teeth and what I could expect in the future. There are other dentist office’s I’ve visited in the past that shovel you from room to room, and the dentist barely bothers to even visit. This definitely did not happen here. I agree with a previous poster that I almost mistook the hygienist as the dentist, because she seemed so knowledgeable.

I had such a great experience here. Only thing I wish they would address is parking because in my experience its not easy getting a space n front of the office but my experience was great. I got lured in my a $60 mailer coupon and wound up spending over $600 (no insurance) but no complaints from me. I will be back. Thy made me feel extremely comfortable and put no pressure on me.

Dr. Evelyn is the BEST! I was nervous going to the dentist since I hadn’t been in 4 years. They took X-rays of my teeth and recommended what needed to be done. We put together a plan to fix my teeth and started work. I’m pretty soft when it comes to my teeth being worked on but Doc was very good about it. She knew I was nervous so she took her time and made sure I didn’t feel a thing. By the time we got done fixing all my teeth I was pretty much a professional at being worked on. I’ll be going back for regular cleanings! Thank you!

I’ve always been skeptical about dentists. In my previous experience they are always recommending I get certain things done to my teeth when, in reality, I don’t need it. The team at Baldwin Park Family Dental has always been upfront with me on what is necessary and what is recommended. I appreciate their honesty and they’ve earned my trust in knowing what is best for me. Their staff is incredibly friendly, their office is clean, and this past year they’ve taken all the necessary precautions to make me and others feel safe during a pandemic.

The office staff is very friendly and my dental hygienist Lori C is outstanding. She is very gentle and listens to your needs and concerns and accommodates the teeth cleaning appropriately. And she remembers them from visit to visit! I would recommend this office for the best dental care.

I had a really positive experience here. The staff was very nice, I did not wait long. My hygienist was personable and kind. I felt like everyone was honest and up front and there was not any hidden fees or upcharges. I was impressed that they could do my x-rays right in the chair, and I felt well informed about my teeth and how to take care of them.

Dr. Ortiz is fantastic! She is so nice and always professional. I love her hygienist, Lori, too. They are gentle and caring, and I look forward to my 6 month check ups here each time. I had a bite guard made here for night time clenching and Dr. Ortiz took A LOT of time with me to make sure it fit just right, because I am super particular about this kind of thing. She is so patient and always happy! 5 years later and this bite guard is still in good shape. Worth the investment. The location was convenient for me as well, but even after we moved out of Baldwin Park I kept coming back and I am glad I did.

It’s something more than impressive to find a dentist’s office that makes you feel welcome, at ease, and above all, comfortable. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with both professionalism and kindness. The dental assistants were very informative and did a great job detailing what the different options were for the work I needed to get done. Above all, though, had to be Dr. Ortiz and how incredible she is. She allowed me to make a last minute appointment and took the time to really work with my situation. She was very communicative throughout the entire process, very personable and understanding, and most importantly, is a phenomenal dentist. I have gone to probably 4 different offices in Orlando, and have never found an office with a team as solid and ready to help as this one. I have definitely found my new permanent dentist!

I have to give huge props to this dental office. The first time I went there, the hygienist was so thorough and knowledgeable that I almost mistook her for my dentist. I’ve really been apprehensive over dental offices since childhood, and during my procedure, they went out of their way to make sure I was comfy, not in pain, etc. THAT in itself is a big plus with me. The office itself doesn’t’ come across as a dental office. It has bright lime colored walls, and other bright happy colors that seemed to take my focus off the procedures, in a good way! Granted, I haven’t been going here long enough to remember everyone’s names, but I have met enough of the staff to report that everyone here is friendly, funny, and helpful, just making it a wonderful experience. Would recommend Dental Excellence to others, definitely.

The Baldwin Park dental team is amazing. They are prompt, professional, and very personable. Our two teenage sons have had great experiences with their routine cleanings and look forward to returning every time. Liz does an awesome job and is very nice. Today the team took our temperatures as a special precaution with the current Corona Virus epidemic. I felt at ease and safe in their office. Keep up the good work guys!

10/10 service, professionalism, timely, entire staff is so kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. One example: I didnt have child care for my appt so my babies came with me and they took care of my kids while I got my teeth cleaned. A receptionist even put my baby to sleep. That’s more than I can ask for at any office. I was in and out in 30 minutes routine cleaning.

My son and I had our first visit today at Baldwin Park Family dentist. We loved the staff and felt everyone was truly working with our best interest in mind. I highly recommend the practice to others! Our wait was less than a minute and we were greeted with professionals who made us feel comfortable during the entire visit.

I had an emergency over Thanksgiving weekend. One of my crowns fell out. I called Fri. after TG & fortunately someone was there answering phones. I was able to get an appt. Monday. I had never been to this practice before. They contacted me via messaging w/a reminder. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and caring. I thought I was going to need a new crown, but amazingly they were able to cement the old one in place. They certainly could have told me I needed a new crown—how would I know. They were honest & I am grateful for that. I would highly recommend them.
