Dr. Bar and Dr. Smith are great! They are very thorough in all aspects. I was a patient of Dr. Ort the previous owner and am so glad he chose such amazing dentists to replace his lovely practice in the Upper East Side. They also did an amazing job and remodeling the space. Dr. Bar is very gentle and caring. He has a great way of making his patients feel comfortable. On my last visit I needed a filing and Dr. Smith was so gentle I barely felt anything. Dr. Smith also followed up the next day to make sure everything was OK. Honestly I highly recommend this practice and both Dr. Bar and Dr. Smith – what a wonderful experience!

Dr. Isaac Bar and Dr. Tyler Smith the best dentists I have ever had!!! Everything is perfect. As a matter of fact, I got so spoiled that after I moved from the Upper East Side, no other dentist I searched for was up to par. They treat every client with respect to their time and grants undivided attention. Paying attention to every detail to make you comfortable. I’ve recently had my veneers done by Dr. Bar and am thrilled with the results, as he works I never get a splash or a careless pull on your lips to reach a tooth. He works cleanly and tells you what he is about to do then does it gently. So all the fear of dentist is gone. He is also a good listener, he takes time to understand your concerns and addresses them. Never felt rushed or that he has to move on to the next patient. The office is so good and seeing you right on time, so you don’t have to wait too long. They manage their time properly. The office is clean and the level of cleanliness in the treatment room is outstanding. It is so appreciated because I have had such bad experiences in the past. In the time that I have been there I never once felt judged for my lack of hygiene, which I know comes with a professional practice but still needs to be noted to new patients who might be a little nervous to start taking care of themselves I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Bar, Dr. Smith, Debbie (who’s been there for over 14 years already) Yvonne, Stephanie, Amy and the staff here. I know that whatever dental needs come my way, I’m not worried about the process because I trust them all to do the best job they can.

Dr.Bar Is a caring, dedicating dentist that made me feel I was at the right dental office. From the receptionist to the assistant my visit was efficient, friendly and pain free. As for Dr.Bar he explained everything in detail and develop a treatment plan that was best for me. If you are  looking for a dentist to care for you health and also give you the best treatment to achieve a healthy beautiful smile,Dr.Bar is The Dentist you definitely need to see. Your first visit will be worth the trip.

My kids are patients here and they love it!!!! Today I switched to this dentist as well, I continue to be pleased with the service. The whole team is WONDERFUL!!!! I will admit at 40 yrs old I’m still not a huge fan of going to the dentist but this experience has restored my faith. Very professionally, friendly and knowledgeable dentist and staff. The digital X-ray is phenomenal!!!!! I was very impressed by the technology because it allows you to see everything so clear, wayyyyyy better than the black& white X-ray. I recommend this dentist for kids and adults!!!!

A warm and welcoming staff with high levels of professionalism and compassion. My future treatment was thoroughly explained to me in a ear-friendly manner with minimal jargon. Any questions I posed were answered with the same level of detail as every other explanation given. Explanations were also given alongside visuals which allowed for me to visualize my step by step treatment. I’m a patient with prior medical work done which may make me a slightly more challenging case to work with, but the doctors made sure to be thorough with my prior medical history. The office itself is very sterile with employees and clients wearing masks as well as available hand sanitizer upon entry. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I’m excited to continue my treatment.

I just completed a major Root canal and extractions with Dr. Bar. After years of no dental care my mouth was in very bad shape. I was afraid to start any treatment. Dr. Bar and his team helped me out with deciding on a treatment that was right for me. They explained everything in details. Sabrina was amazing at helping me in every step of the way. Debbie the dental assitant was very gentle and sweet.  All that work only took a little more than two hours, and was almost entirely painless. And I can finally smile again!

Amazing office. Dr.Bar is by far an amzing dentist, i love the fact soon as i walked in for my appointment, i felt as if i have known the office for years. I also was very impressed with dental treatments with Dr.Bar, he sought and gave options in ways how of he can help me with my dental treatments in such a painless rather than pushing me to do major as most dentists out there. I 100% highly recommend Dr.Bar as one of MANHATTAN’S  best dentist.

I had an excellent appointment with Dr. Bar, and I highly recommend his dental services. It was been quite a while since I have been to a dentist. My gums were sore, and I am not the most regular flosser, so I was very apprehensive about my appointment with Dr. Bar. When I arrived for my appointment I was pleasantly surprised. The office is beautiful and the staff is warm and friendly. I arrived at the office a few minutes early, and they were ready to see me immediately. As I knew would be the case, my gums were not in the best shape. Not surprisingly, I needed a scaling. In my past experiences, the scaling procedure was very unpleasant. However, Dr. Bar performed the procedure in a way that was gentle and very tolerable. In addition, Dr. Bar used a new technique to reduce the swelling of my gums, which I had never seen before. The inflammation went away in a few days. Unfortunately, I also had a cavity (not surprising given how long it has been since I have seen a dentist). Dr. Bar made room in his schedule to take care of the cavity immediately after my cleaning, so I would not need to return to the office a second time. Most dentists make their patients return for an additional appointment. I am VERY scared of dentist drills, and was very apprehensive. However, Dr. Bar with his kind demeanor made me feel comfortable. He completed the procedure with such a gentle manner that my nerves were put to rest (without using laughing gas)! It was all over so quickly. After the appointment, Dr. Bar spent time with me discuss my dental hygiene practices. He made some helpful suggestions, so I would not have the same problem with my gums the next time. In summary, Dr. Bar is an excellent dentist. In fact, my experience was more pleasant than with any other dentist that I have had. I highly recommend Dr. Bar.

I have not seen a dentist for almost 3 years. I was referred to Dr.bar by a family member, and was told it would be worth my dental visit. My appointment was at 9am, I was very impressed that the receptionist knew me by my name and all my paper work was complete I was escorted to the room the amazing assistant took my x-rays. Dr. Bar is one of the best dentist ever. He took time explaining my x-ray and give me a thorough cleaning. Dr.Bar made me feel very comfortable

An amazing atmosphere, great to hang out. The office of Dr. bar is amazingly decorated and the music selection is to die for. It’s relaxing and stress free environment. Makes me wanna just go and hang out there. He’s also so friendly I ended up having drinks with him and dr. Smith later in the evening. I can not express how much I look forward to seeing dr. Bar and dr. Smith again. They’re by definition the best dentists I know. I trust with my life and definitely teeth and oral medical needs. He also go above and beyond to squeeze your insurance to cover any thing they initially refuse to cover.
