My family has been going to Barataria Dental for years and we are very happy with the service here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hygienists are very thorough with their work. Especially, the doctors always take their time to listen and address our concerns. They also do follow up phone calls after each procedure to make sure we are ok. I would recommend this dental office to anyone.

My experience with Barataria Dental was superb! I had to get some dental work done within a week of me calling because I was scheduled to leave town for a business opportunity. They squeezed me in for three different appointments, one to see what was wrong, one to fix my fillings and another to do tooth extractions. I never felt judged or talked down to. I felt like these were my friends who happened to be working on my teeth. The front desk to the operation room, you’re going to get a good experience. I’ve given their information to my entire family. I feel very comfortable there. They even helped me get my insurance information straight to ensure that my visit was affordable. I can’t imagine another office being able to accommodate me with such grace and friendliness. This office truly embodies southern hospitality. I will be returning when I return to Louisiana! Love these ladies!

Dr. Val, Maranda,and EVERYONE at this office are amazing. Everyone is always, ALWAYS friendly! They explain and go into great detail about anything and everything you need to know. They make sure you are always comfortable and have up to date technology that makes going to the dentist not so scary. They have completely transformed my teeth making smiling something I enjoy doing in my pictures now. I went in for a deep cleaning (after not being to the dentist in a while I had some buildup) and now I have a cleaner, fuller, and whiter smile. They go above and beyond patient care. I recommend them 100 times over.

I have been using Barataria Dental for over 20 years. The quality of the service is unsurpassed. Dr. Val and Dr. Maria are caring professionals who take care of you like you were a member of their family. I currently live 60 miles from there and gladly drive that distance to have all of my dental work done by them. Went in for a wisdom tooth extraction not knowing what to expect. I’ve heard horror stories of extractions gone wrong, and dry socket. Dr. Val was amazing, funny, and very good at her job. I saw Dr. Hemphill after chipping my two front teeth. She matched the color of the bonding to my teeth PERFECTLY, and gently polished the tiny ridges along the edges. My teeth look just as good as they did before I chipped them, if not better!! My friends and family were amazed at how great of a job she did. No one would ever be able to tell that I chipped my teeth – that’s how natural the bonding looks! I highly recommend Dr. Hemphill. I couldn’t be happier with the results!

I visited Barataria Dental today. It was my first time ever walking in and the lady behind the desk, Ms. Tammy, greeted me by name which was really surprising and impressive. She was super friendly and answered all my questions. You know when employees talk highly about their bosses that it’s a good place to be. The “paperwork” was all electronic which was awesome. The next lady I met was Sherri and she understood that I was uncomfortable with the mouth piece for x-rays. She was working extremely fast to take the x-rays as quick as possible and get that thing out of my mouth. I was very grateful for her working so fast. The dentist Maria was great to work with and she explained everything to me in a manner that was easy for me to understand. I had my 11yr old son with me and all the staff went out of their way to make him feel welcomed too. Lastly, they had this really cool camera that went in your mouth to take pictures so you could see what was actually going on for yourself. Loved everyone I met and I’m looking forward to my next visit! Thank you again Tammy, Sherri, and Maria!!

I have been going to Barataria Dental for more than 20 years. Knowing that no one likes to go to the dentist, I can truly say that I have not had one bad experience. From the time I arrive until the time I leave, the support staff treats me like they are my next door neighbor. They have always been knowledgeable and professional, I admire that. On top of great service, if your appoint is at 10:00 you will be seen at 10:00. That is unheard of in any doctors office, but they are on time every time. Doctor Maria and Doctor Val as well as Adrian, my hygienist for a number of years, keep up with all the latest technology in dentistry to offer the best options available when a problem arises. I gave a five star rating because they have earned every star.
