I have been a patient of Dr. Zemelman for about 15 years now and extremely lucky at this. I’m not the bravest person in the world, one of those who keep the eyes opened only in the waiting room. As fate and my teeth set it, I had to go through a lot of dental procedures. Hey, Dr. Zemelman did it like a true master of his trade. Practically pain free, I would not have to take pain killers if it were not for anti – inflammatory side of those(sure enough I still tried to skip it). He is also very attentive, will never leave you hanging out there, but calls asking about your condition after major procedure and providing helpful advice. You can try and figure out how many cleaning procedures I had during these years. Trust me, scaling was not done this often, only when absolutely necessary. He & his right hand, Lana are extremely knowledgeable, very attentive and in no way are trying to push any unnecessary procedures on you. I can truly talk of their professionalism , honesty and great human traits. if you look at my mouth now (of course I mean teeth), you will definitely like what you see. I know I love it!!! Frankly speaking, I wholeheartedly agree to all the great reviews his patients wrote. I also do not get the latest one from the guy who does not sound like one of his patients at all. I get it, he just voiced an opinion of his experience or luck of it.

I have been to several dental offices, but BPDG is where I truly found my match. They take care of you here – everyone has nothing but your best interest in mind. I have been coming here for the last few years, and it never feels like a doctor’s visit – more like seeing a friend. You are welcomed by an amazing and experienced staff. The teeth cleaning is quick and painless. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Most importantly, every work done by the doctors and assistants is truly flawless. I had my wisdom tooth extraction and other oral surgeries done here and those were the least stressful experiences in my life! In short, I am very grateful to BDPG for making my smile more confident and bright! My oral health is an ongoing journey, and I’m so happy to have found the place that can help me navigate it best! Dr. Zemelman has been my dentist for the past 20 years and I have nothing but the highest compliments and praise for the work that he has done. The Dr. and his staff are always friendly and seem to genuinely care for a patient’s well being. I’ve found that during various cleanings and other procedures that Dr. Zemelman was attentive which resulted in a painless and positive experience.

Dr. Zemelman is amazing!!! I came to him to extract my wisdom teeth because my previous doctor told me he can not do a filling on it- to hard to get to the area. I was seen by DR. Zemelman right away, he gave me a thorough examination and told me that I do not need them pulled that he can do a filling on them just fine. From that moment I knew that going forward he will be my dentist!!! Dr. Zemelman is very knowledgeable and caring, he takes his time to explain what procedure he will be doing for you and why. His staff is very welcoming and friendly. Also what is very convenient is that I am always able to get an appointment at 6pm which is perfect after work! I will def. recommend him to my family and friends!

During the shutdown/pandemic in NYC I’ve had a dental issue that I’ve pushed aside up until now …it became unbearable, got in the way of my day to day and how I functioned. I found Battery Park Dental Group because I was in pain and couldn’t wait for when my local spots in Brooklyn to have openings, I had to leave work immediately to be seen and it was a blessing. The team was able to attend to my emergency right away and I was able to return to work the same day, the next day we finished the procedure and I am feeling better by the minute. I have to commend Battery Park Dental on their hospitality, professionalism and cleanliness during a pandemic I felt safe and will be returning again!

Best dentist in all of Manhattan. Going to the dentist isn’t fun, but Dr. Z managed to make my visit completely painless and comfortable. He removed all of my wisdom teeth with ease and I healed quickly. He even called to make sure I was doing well. The office staff is very friendly and overall a great experience. I will def be going back to him and referring friends and family. Thanks Dr Z!

Dr. Zemelman is a wonderful dentist. I needed a new primary dentist after moving to NYC and was very lucky to come across him after a poor experience at another dental practice. Dr. Zemelman has performed a few procedures for me and he has made the experience completely comfortable. He always recommends the best course of action and uses the best medicine and technology available today, but does not push unnecessary work to be done. I highly recommend him as your primary dentist.

Today I took my 2 1/2 year old son to his first dentist appointment and was not sure what to expect, being a first time parent I wasn’t sure what to do…Then Jacqueline Zamani their pediatric dentist walked in. Wow! What a life saver. She was so friendly and gentile with him that he didn’t even make one fuss. From the second she greeted us at the front area she instantly bonded with him by offering him stickers, toys and a movie to watch. She then proceeded to get this huge crocodile with beautiful teeth and sat him on my sons lap while he sat on mine. We both brushed the crocodile teeth and were both so happy and thrilled we were in Jacqueline presence. She then made him the star of the show by allowing him to select his toothpaste of flavor. She then started examining and cleaning his teeth and before you knew it we were done, not one tear, not one scream from the little guy. She was also nice enough to provide me some very helpful tips and recommendations on how to take care of my sons teeth. I knew from my past years coming here they would make this a special experience and they over exceeded my expectations. So thank you Battery park dental and a huge thank you to Jacqueline. We will both be back very soon.

I would highly recommend BPDG. Their staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve undergone several procedures from a simple teeth cleaning to a root canal. Each doctor has been very professional walked me through the procedure and answered all my questions. I’ll be also soon finishing my Invisalign treatment that they offer – thank you BPDG for a perfect smile!

Absolute amazing dentist. So caring and patient. He takes his time and answers all of my questions. Has such a gentle touch and you can just see that he wants the best for his patient I’ve been there 3 times now (I’m having so much work done its crazy 🙁 and they have been running on schedule every single time. I’ve never had to wait more then 3 mins. What a sweet and knowledgable dentist I have found in battery park! Great location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Zemelman and his staff. Each time I’ve visited, I’ve left delighted, which is a rare adjective to use when speaking about dentist appointments. I’ve had cleanings and more serious dental work done, like multiple fillings in one day, and each time has been pain free and actually enjoyable because Dr Zemelman is such a caring, kind person and dentist. He really takes the time to talk with me and make sure I’m getting the proper care. The best proof of his amazing work and care that I can give you is that I’m quite wary of having cavities filled as my teeth are fairly sensitive, and at the beginning of my first filling appointment, Dr Zemelman recommended that I try no novacaine. I was shocked and nervous as I have never had a dentist offer no needles before and don’t have the highest pain tolerance, but not having a numb face all night sounded nice. He told me many many times to just raise my hand if I had any pain at all and that he’d give me novacaine if I needed it. I had absolutely no pain, even though his work was careful and thorough- and quick (though by no means rushed!) Booking appointments is a breeze as well with his amazing staff. A while back i came here and they were able to remove 2 teeth from my mouth without pain killers and no pain. I attribute this to the skill of the doctor who removed the teeth from my mouth. I think they might’ve used some numbing agent but still it was very skillful. I did not experience any pain following the procedure either.

Dr. Michael Zemelman has been my General Dentist for over 20 years! The office is new and conveniently located in the Battery Park area of Manhattan. Everyone who works there; from the Dental Assistants to the Receptionist, are welcoming and friendly. They always seem to find time to accommodate my schedule. The doctor himself is very knowledgeable, experienced, and understanding. Thank you Doctor! I highly recommend this office !

Dr. Zemelman and his extraordinary team are true magicians who somehow turned the most dreadful experience, which we all remember since childhood, into the most desirable place to be. At least that is how I feel whenever the time comes for my appointment. And that is how it has been for me for the last 20 years. Once I found this office I never looked anywhere else. Moreover, I brought many of my friends there as well as the whole immediate and extended family. Few days ago the work on my implants had been completed. Many lengthy appointments over a long time produced a true masterpiece. Over the course of that journey the doctor’s and his staffs’ professionalism, meticulousness, extraordinary decision-making were on full display. Dr. Zemelman possesses a rare quality to make sure his patients are totally comfortable with all he intends to do. He takes time to answer questions and concerns. At times he even uses demo material to explain anatomy to his most curious patients. The fact that I have never gone back with the same tooth over the 20-year period speaks of his tremendous skills. Small or big always comes with the certificate of quality. Teeth cleaning there is the absolute best you can get. Miraculously, each time after going through that procedure, I find my teeth whiter and brighter and lighter. And of course, just like every nice home, this office starts with the welcome reception. Making an appointment cannot be easier and friendlier. Scheduling is perfectly spaced which eliminates any wait. I hardly remember myself seating on those comfortable couches unless I was waiting for someone to come out. As much as I am happy that my teeth are perfect again, I am sad that there will be no visits for some time….

Dr. Zemelman has been taking care of my family and I ever since I was a child. His professionalism, thoroughness, and care make him an unbelievable dentist. From simple check ups to more complicated procedures, Michael and his team always leave us in excellent dental shape. From regularly scheduled visits to late evening visits addressing emergencies, I would not trust my families dental needs to anybody else. I highly recommend Dr. Zemelman because the high level of personal care can not be beaten.

Battery Park Dental is awesome. Friendly staff, very accommodating of schedules and helping you to optimize your instance benefits. I had a lot of dental work to get done this week, and i must say, if you have to spend a few hours at a dentists office, I couldn’t think of a better place to go. The staff and doctors are very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, and have a great sense of humor. They are just nice, pleasant, fun people to talk with / be around while you get your teeth worked on. They have been incredibly accommodating of my hectic and unpredictable work and travel schedule. I found out I had to have a root canal during an exam 3 days before I was going on a holiday vacation. They made an appointment for me with me with the doctor specializing in root canals at 5pm the next day so that I didn’t have to miss work; and a follow up two days later on a Saturday to start my crown so that I wouldn’t have to worry about breaking a temporary crown over the holidays. They also worked to get my root canal done so that it would be covered by this years insurance benefits rather than eating into next year’s allowance – which was great given that root canals are very expensive, and i had a lot of unused coverage that was going to expire at the end of the year. They were also really nice about me having to take an urgent work call and be on my laptop for about 20 minutes in the middle of a dental appointment, which was really above and beyond on their part. I truly appreciate how accommodating and helpful they have been!

Battery Park Dental Group has a super friendly and professional environment. Every staff member that I’ve interacted with has been caring and respectful. I was worried about going to the dentist considering everything happening with COVID, but everything is done with with a lot of precaution. They also offer a lot of services so no need to travel to other offices for different procedures. I can’t say enough good things about this group!

Battery Park Dental Group is a great place for your dental requirements. My entire family have our dental needs taken care of as they also offer pediatric dentistry in addition to requirements for adults. All the doctors and office staff have been great and very well qualified in their individual fields. They have also been very flexible with us for our appointments. They accepted our insurance so that was a plus. I fully recommend them.

The best dentist ever! I’ve had root canal, implants, cleaning, deep cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges. Dr. Z is the best. You will be happy with him. I’ve been going to him for 8 years. You need your teeth to chew all that yummy food and yelp about it, so call Dr. Zemelman ASAP with your dental issues. He takes MetLife dental insurance.

I am really grateful to Dr. Michael and his staff for the care I received. I moved to NYC area 3 years ago and couldn’t find a good dentist since then. I had serious dental problems and was recommended to go for implant in 2 other dental practices. Fortunately, a colleague suggested I should visit Dr. Michael. He is very knowledgeable, professional and caring, a dentist who strives to do what is best for the patient’s health. Following Dr. Michael’s recommendation, I quickly started to feel better and am getting the tooth restored! What makes a difference to me: Professionalism – Dr. Michael is performing a wide range of procedures, whereas at my prior dental practice similar work required coordination between several doctors, which took me hours for appointments and resulted in little outcome. At Dr. Michael’s, I was able to get help in a quick and efficient way. Al of my 3 visits were ~ 1 hour long and pain free. Caring attitude – I feel that the ultimate goal at Dr. Zemelman’s practice is to help the patient get healthy and recommend the best known course of actions as opposed to selling (to recall, I was actively pushed for implants /extraction elsewhere). All of the staff (Irina, who is assisting, Tatiana – taking care of reception and billing) are wonderful and create a very positive and kind atmosphere. It’s a pleasure to visit. I’ve been a patient at Battery Park Dental since 2015 and I can’t think of a better dental office! Doctor Daniel Lee fixed all of my fillings (and there were a lot of them!) and did two crowns, he was very-very helpful at explaining me every step of my treatment plan! I would also like to note an exceptional professionalism of Doctor Vitaliy Fabrikant, who did my root canals; everything was painless and stress-free! The office manager and the girls on the front were always welcoming and calming! Each time I came for my procedures, they were very clear about my copays and always let me know in advance. Unfortunately, I have to move, thus I can not attend this practice any more, but I am extremely grateful to Battery Park Dental! I hope I will ever be able to find a new dentist, who will be as good as those at Battery Park Dental Group!

I’d like to express gratitude, and give my highest recommendation to Dr Zemelman: Dr Zemelman has been my dentist and has taken care of my teeth for over 20 years now. To be fair, I do not have perfect teeth, I like sweets, a lot. As a result, over the years, I had a lot of dental work done, and Dr Zemelman’s work has been of consistently high quality. It did not cause problems, it did not cause discomfort, and it has lasted very long, in good condition, allowing me to enjoy my teeth and my sweets. The office in Battery Park is also great, the manager/receptionist is very attentive, keeps track of, and tries to accommodate patient’s requests. Over the years, my work location has changed, I don’t work close to Battery Park anymore, but it’s always worth the time and effort for me to continue to be seen by Dr Zemelman.

So happy that I found them! Great knowledgeable doctors, amazing customer service, friendly and helpful staff. They are always willing to accommodate my busy schedule. Roxanne at the front desk always helps me understand all these complicated insurance T&C’s and provides details on required services and current promotions. I could not be happier with the Invisalign treatment I am getting there right now. Hopefully, all is well and I’ll see them for my next follow up on April 28th.
