Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Radwan and the team at Bay Area Kids Dentist. Our son is 4 and has been going there since we moved to the area a couple of years ago. He used to be scared of going to the dentist, but since we’ve been going to Bay Area Kids Dentist, he actually looks forward to it. They really know how to make children feel comfortable and relaxed in what normally would be an anxiety-inducing experience for most kids (and many adults!). If you’re looking for a great pediatric dentist, this is your place!

Our overall experience has been very pleasant over the last 2 years. The office as well as staff is very friendly and Dr. Radwan is very observant and engaging – which is very helpful for wriggly toddlers . My daughter looks forward to her dental appointments and is conscious of keeping her teeth sparkly in anticipation of her bi-annual visits. Very happy to be part of this group!

Always feeling welcomed..always feeling cared for..and always getting amazing care by all the staff at Bay area kids dentist. It is not very common to find doctors who go the extra mile to make a patient feel cared for..in addition to how kid friendly the facility is..the conteats also excite my kids and they are always very excited for their appointments..so happy to have established care with Bay Area Kids dentists!

All three of my children needed their wisdom teeth pulled and from my first call to the day of the procedures the office staff was so helpful and not to mention patient with all my questions and concerns.  Yes I purposely scheduled all three of my children to get their wisdom teeth pulled on the same day.  The staff took great care of them and made sure I was well informed about everything.  This helped put my worries at ease…just a bit (you know moms never stop worrying).  I especially want to thank Sanaz, Dr. Shahzad, Jen M, Bronson (best IV skills in the business) and Dr. Radwan.   I would definitely recommend this place especially to those who have children with special needs.

It is an excellent place for kids of any age . I have a toddler and a 3 rd grader.They both enjoy visiting this place. It is located at a central location In Santa Clara. There is plenty of parking space. The staff is so friendly and helpful.they take care of everything. This is place is meant for kids , it has a reception area designed by taking small kids needs in mind. It has a small play area . They give a small toy to every kid and that’s make them very happy. They have tv screens above every station where doctors examine them. This way kids can watch their favorite movie and are distracted while doctors work on them. It is very organized and doctors give apt information about dental health.

My 3 year old LOVES coming to Bay Area Kids Dentist- Dr. Radwan and his team are awesome! Very patient, kind, and experienced. Dr. Radwan spends his time checking my daughter’s teeth and educates us on how to maintain her oral health. My daughter has never been afraid to go to the dentist, and this is largely due to the warm/fun environment of this office. I look forward to referring more of my friends and family to his practice! P.S. get your kids in to see the dentist EARLY! Don’t wait until they are 3 or 4… the earlier the better so that they can get used to being there and your dentist can be more proactive about your kid’s oral health!

I definitely recommend Bay Area Kids Dentist to anyone and everyone, it’s really just perfect. Today my child had a filling and a crown appointment at 9 in the morning. at first when we were in the waiting room she told me that she was a bit nervous because she wasn’t taking care of her teeth as much and that she was thinking that the process will hurt. However, when we got into the filling room, all her worries melted away as soon as she saw Dr. Radwan’s cheerful smile. He spoke to her as though she is his real daughter, he called her with her nickname and used sweet supportive words and as it is said ‘on the other side of your fear you find your courage.’ The technology in the office is just great and up to date, my daughter had to take x-ray pictures before the procedure started and I was pleased to know that the x-ray machine is very luxurious because this kind of intelligent machines have very limited impact on the child’s body and earth (go green). As always everyone treated her with gentle and professional care, she got to pick her own movie to watch and put on special glasses. The whole environment was soothing really. the funny thing is that for the first time in my life I walk in for any kind of dentist appointment and hear a nurse singing a song for child to comfort them and make them feel safe, my daughter was telling me “dad, listen, listen the nurse is singing twinkle twinkle little star to a small girl!” The staff made sure to take things easy on her and not too fast just to get the job done. during her appointment the nurse and doctor Radwan discussed the importance of everyday dental care and how it affects her, she wasn’t being lectured harshly, rather, she was spoken to kindly and softly as if they were the same age as her but at the same time not, it really impacted me when one of the staff said they didn’t want my daughter to come back with more tooth problems rather just for regular check up with great healthy teeth. At the end my daughter got to pick a prize from a big variety and came back smiling happily. Thanks to Dr. Radwan and all the staff for being people that we could trust and love. Recommended for all 🙂

Kids needs to be handled well, and these guys are very very good at that, specially Kayla and Ayman, who saw my kid. They make sure that kids are totally comfortable before they start with anything. The ladies at the reception were very nice and helpful. They followed up with me couple of times before my appointment time. The ambiance is just the perfect kind to make kids feel comfortable. And they give toys to take home to every kids. Basically my kid loved it. And so did we.

Dr. Radwan is a rockstar! He is so thorough & honest about his opinions and will not do the procedure just for cosmetics. The time he spends and the bond he creates with his patients is remarkable. My daughter adores him and she has been patient of Dr. Radwan since 3 1/2. He has performed some cavity treatments on her and they were breeze. Never had to worry. The whole staff there is awesome. They also went out of the way to accommodate and examine for an out-of-state family. I wish I could find a dentist for adult who was as knowledgeable & caring as him, as I am still a wimpy child when I go to my dentist

This is the best kid’s dental office in the bay area bar none!. They have great customer service for the parents and the kids, their work is fast while maintaining quality and the doctors are friendly and always qilling to answer questions. The waiting area is fun for the kids: movies, video games! The ladies in the front desk are always welcoming and very friendly. We highly recommend Bay Area Kids Dental!

My kids haven’t been doing such a great job brushing, but Robin and Denise were amazing at showing them what spots they are missing and making suggestions. My kids have a renewed commitment to brushing. I struggled early on to find a good dentist for my kids because I had horrible ones growing up. I did extensive research and read countless reviews before I finally decided on BAKD. Even though I live far away, it’s worth the commute for the great care my kids get.

Today was my daughter’s first trip to the dentist and she did great! Not one tear or complaint thanks to the wonderful, patient, and caring staff at this office. I highly recommend this place, especially for first time visits. Mom, dad and baby brother we’re able to watch the whole visit. Looking forward to bringing our son in when he is old enough! Thanks Dr. Radwan and team for such a great experience!

We came here after a friend recommended Dr. Radhwan. This place is super cute and kids (little ones) have alot of stuff to keep them occupied while hygienist and Dentist do their work. They are fast and gentle with kids and my little one has no issues coming to these appointments. We recently saw another dentist Dr. Metawally (I think that’s how you spell his name) I can’t remember but he was even more chill and relaxed than Dr. R. I recommend this place to all little one’s parents.

My daughter had a great experience. The staff are very friendly and Dr. Radwan is the best with kids. My daughter had 2 crowns and didn’t even care cause she was watching barbie movie while she is being treated with laughing gas.They explained in details every step of the treatment and answer all my questions. The office environment is so fun that my 5 years old wants to go there weekly to play:)

This is my first Yelp review.All credit goes to Dr Radwan and the staff which exceeds expectations each time I go for my sons dental treatment(5 years old).Dr Radwan is a wonderful doctor and excellent with kids.Staff is super friendly too.Not to forget,their amazing videos online.I showed the video to my child before visiting the Santa Clara office.He was super excited to see the video and became more comfortable .Dr Radwan is simply the best.My child readily agreed for the next due treatment for his dental cavity.Wish I could give more than five stars to Bay Area kids dentist .

I have been bringing my kids here for the past 8 years and don’t plan to stop. They do a great job with my two older boys and my 4 year old daughter. She is a screamer yet they know exactly how to handle her and get the job done. I recommend them to all my friends. My older boys have a great time with the drs and the assistants are some of the nicest people i have ever met. I could tell they love their job because they are so good at it. hands down the best dentist office i have ever been in. Very kids friendly, makes me wish i had such an amazing experience at the dentists when i was that age. Good job Dr. Radwan and amazing staff you have a loyal and long time customer 🙂

I feel very fortunate to find bay area kids dentist for my son. Atmosphere of the practice is very welcoming and fun for kids and my child knows that it’s nice to get his teeth taken care of there. Doctors and all the staff are very friendly, communicative and informative. They will also be able to adjust the treatment to what we need! I wish they also take adult patients! 🙂

Totally overdue review. We’ve been coming here for about 9 years for my 3 boys, since my oldest was 2. At that time, my son had many issues with his teeth and was absolutely terrified of the dentist. Dr. Radwan, Dr. Metwally, and their wonderful staff (literally everyone in the office from front desk to all the hygienists) have been so patient and kind and have been integral in my son’s overcoming of his fear by answering his million questions and dealing with his stalling tactics. Also, 2 of my 3 boys have been cavity free for the last few appointments and they all try to take good care of their teeth…the doctors and staff do a great job educating the kids on the importance of healthy teeth and gums. It’s also a really kid friendly office with movies for the kids to watch during cleaning/treatment, with movies and video games in the waiting room. They always ask to come a little early because of this. Thank you BAKD!!
