If I could give more than 5 starts I WOULD! Visiting the dentist gets me nervous. William and the rest of the staff were so amazing and accommodating. Their great customer service definitely made me feel more comfortable. Very clean office as well! Meeting Dr. Zhang couldn’t have gone any better. He’s such a kind, patient and gentle Dr. He’s definitely one of the goods ones! Book your next appointment with Bay Star Dental, you won’t regret it.

Amazing service!  I was experiencing terrible dental pain earlier today. I called Bay Star (on a Sunday at 4pm!). 40 minutes later, I was in the dental chair getting my tooth extracted.  What a lifesaver.  The entire staff was professional, friendly and fast. And Dr. Zhang was very communicative and efficient!  Thanks, guys.

My experience with Dr. Zhang has been great! He is gentle, caring, and explains everything very thoroughly. Love that he’s got in-office CT scan, intraoral camera, making everything easy to visualize. He is local (graduated from UCSF) and the office has been recently remodeled, giving a clean, professional look. I have many implants in my mouth, and usually routine cleanings were never fun for me because they usually hurt. He really took time and didn’t rush and was so gentle around each tooth, that I barely feel any pain this time! Highly recommend!

Bay star dental is exceptional. I called with pain issues and was given an appointment the same day. Lynn returned my email and I was in. Dr Zhang was open and honest with my options. Highly efficient and quick, he made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I especially appreciated the classical piano in the background to distract from drill sound. Overall I would highly recommend Bay star dental and will certainly be returning for any future dental work.

Have had 2 visits here, one for general cleaning and one to fix a filling and both were great! I was seen on time and treated nicely by staff. The Dr. was knowledgeable and did not try to sell me anything and always asked if I had any concerns, This will be my Dr. as long as I’m in the area!

Had concern seeing a dentist due to COVID but just chipped my front tooth so felt I had to get it looked at. The facility really puts my mind at ease. The clinic is spotless and all the staffs followed proper COVID procedures including temperature check and COVID questionnaires which put my mind at easy. The procedure itself was very efficient and friendly. The X-rays and the operation room are in the same place so I did not have to move at all. Dr. Zhang patiently explained different options for chipped tooth and recommended the least intrusive method. He also documented the before and after shot of my teeth to make sure I am 100% satisfied and felt no discomfort. One thing I usually hate about seeing a dentist is having too much water in my mouth which gags me. However, the equipment they had was first rate and I actually almost fell asleep during the procedures. They gave me a gift bag when I checked out and of course I booked for the next appointment. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a dentist to check out Bay Star Dental.

Dr. Zhang is an amazing dentist. After routine visits, he would always offer me alot of advices on how to maintain better gum health. Dr. Zhang was very patient and caring, I was never rushed through with my appointments and I felt valued as a client/ patient. He always took time to explain everything and never ignored any of my potential concerns, which many other dentists I visited in the past were not able to do.

I like this dentist (Dr. Zhang)! End of Dec 2020 I scheduled through ZocDoc and was able to get an appointment in a day or two. It was for a cleaning. Since I was a first time patient they sent me a series of questions prior to the appointment in addition to COVID-19 exposure questions. I mentioned I had some teeth sensitivity on the questionnaire to which Dr. Zhang brought up. There were a few more he asked me about on the form. This demonstrates that he paid attention to the questionnaire and wanted to address any concerns I had before my cleaning. Overall I thought it was a pleasant experience. My teeth felt really clean after and I scheduled my next teeth cleaning. At the end of my appointment he noted that I needed two fillings to which I scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks later. I just came back from that one and I thought that went well too. He could tell the cavities were not deep and didn’t want to give me any anesthesia because that might prevent me from eating later on (thoughtful!). A few other things I liked: – They give you polarized sunglasses to wear during your appointment. This prevents objects or liquids from getting into your eyes and also I don’t feel weird about darting my eyes around not knowing what to stare at. – During my filling they placed something in my mouth that kept it open while having suction at the same time. I was impressed with this piece of equipment because it was helpful and I’ve never seen it before. – The staff are all really nice. – They seem really organized and prepared for each appointment. In the two times I’ve gone there was no waiting time (admittedly, the pandemic might be a contributing factor). – Dr. Zhang seems to really know his stuff. I have confidence that if I have a question he would be able to answer it well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Zhang & his staff to others.

Dr. Zhang was very nice and professional. I was kinda nervous prior to going. But his clinic was really clean and bright and staff was very friendly and professional. After seeing Dr. Zhang and talking to him, my anxiety disappeared quickly and I had a very nice dental cleaning. He was very gentle and caring and I didn’t feel any discomfort like before. Definitely will come back!
