We’ve been visiting Dr. Chiu for 8 years, during which our three children got braces from Dr. Chiu and her team. We have been so pleased with each experience. Dr. Chiu is hands-on, direct, kind, thoughtful and a great communicator and explainer. Her staff is wonderful. Each member of Dr. Chiu’s team made us feel welcome and comfortable. Appointments were easy to schedule, and we were able to communicate in person, over the phone and even by e-mail. And the results — straight teeth! — have been great. I would recommend Dr. Chiu for any of my friends and family members, and anyone else, who needs braces.

My daughter went through the motions of an appliance and braces with Dr Chiu and we have to say a huge Thank You, to the Dr and her staff- each visit was a pleasure. Easy to schedule, easy to attend and easier to chat with the Dr & staff, about the process at hand, and everyday life. Her estimate of how long the process would take, was spot on & my daughter felt very comfortable at all times – the Dr. spoke directly to her & included her in the conversations with myself or my husband. She has two offices, West Roxbury and Norwood, we chose Norwood for the ease of parking, mainly. Highly recommend Bay State Ortho.

My 13 year old son recently finished his treatment at Bay State Orthodontics in their Norwood office. We wanted to be sure we chose the right provider because he is missing a tooth and there were a couple ways to go with his treatment. We were impressed with this practice from our first meeting with Dr. Chiu and her staff and, having seen his incredible transformation, we know we made the right choice! He looks great and is so excited with the finish results! His twin sister is currently in treatment here and we are looking forward to the same outcome! Dr. Chiu and her staff are knowledgeable, and friendly, appointments are convenient and flexible, and the office is immaculate. We would, and do recommend Bay State Orthodontics to anyone who asks!!

I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Baystate Orthodontics and the entire staff. My three children have had orthodontic treatment with Dr. Chiu. My daughter’s case was unusual because she had two congenitally missing upper teeth that were toward the front of her mouth. I was told by a general dentist that she would most likely need two implants. After a consult with Dr.Chiu, she put together a treatment plan that just involved NINE months of braces on just her upper teeth and NO implants needed! My daughter and I were so thrilled with the outcome. All three of my children’s teeth came out so beautiful! The dental assistants are so professional, gentle and kind. The receptionist was so patient and accommodating when scheduling appointments. Also, I never had to wait long in the waiting room to be seen. I highly recommend having your orthodontic done here. Love Dr.Chiu and all the staff members, excellent team. My daughter had a previous orthodontic treatment and after 1 year of treatment and total use of Delta Dental of course the previous doctor gave me a letter to take my daughter to the children hospital to have 4 teeth to be extracted she was only 10 years-old and to me her mouth was still growing then I told him that I have a sister who is an orthodontic as well and told me to ask for a different procedure and his answer was “take your daughter to your sister” but she leaves overseas. So, I went to see Dr. Chiu for a second opinion and she explained everything that she was going to do, her statement was very clear and dedicated to the end. My daughter is very happy with her new smile. Now my son is her new patience and he was hesitated about having braces and so far so good and I can see the change in his smile already. So highly recommended!

We were very pleased with the results from Dr. Chiu. We had originally gone to another orthodontist who recommended that 4 teeth be extracted. We went to Dr. Chiu for a second opinion and she was able to realign the teeth without any extraction and made the 18 month process easy. The staff was friendly and attentive and there was never a long wait even when the waiting room was almost full. We were able to find reasonable appointment times and the West Roxbury office was in an easy to get to location. The staff was flexible with payment schedule so we didn’t have to pay a huge amount upfront while I waited for my FSA to replenish.

My teen just had their braces removed after Dr Chiu managed not just her orthodontics but a complicated jaw surgery by Dr Mehra. To say this was complicated is an understatement. Dr Chiu had outlined the process and all the possibilities before we started, her timeline was on point. There were no surprises which both of us appreciated. The support staff was caring and efficient. They worked with us to accommodate our schedule and cared for my teen beautifully. I will not say that major jaw surgery and braces is a good time but Dr Chiu and everyone at Bay State Orthodontics were amazing partners and the end result is fantastic. We are incredibly grateful for their work and highly recommend them!

I was recommended this Orthodontics for my son about 2 years ago. At the time, I had thought the dentistry would be like other Orthodontics I have sent my son to. But after my son’s first appointment, I was so happy I was recommended this place. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would also include that the dental work was amazing. The main dentist, Dr. Chiu had taught me a lot more about teeth during the appointment. I would highly recommend sending your child to this place.
