I am the type of person that hates the dentist, but even I can’t hate going to Bayou City Smiles. I’ve had appointments with both Dr. De Guzman and Dr. Corral and have had great experiences with both of them. There are so many small touches that make Bayou City Smiles pleasant in my opinion. The first is the early morning appointments. For someone with a commute, the ability to get in to the dentist at 7 am, then drive to work and be only a bit late is so helpful. I also love that if you’re going to be in a chair for awhile they will give you a blanket. I’m always freezing in the Houston A/C, so I really appreciate that! They also put cocoa butter on my lips when I was having some work done, which really made a huge difference in how my mouth/face felt afterward (especially as someone with a very small mouth). The offices are cute, clean, and easy to access. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful when I’ve visited. I have nothing but good things to say about Bayou City Smiles! I have been working with Dr. De Guzman to get whitening done and veneers put on prior to my wedding…while also undergoing Invisalign treatment with a different orthodontist. He has been so accommodating and has worked really well with my ortho, which has made the complex process of getting everything done in a very short timeline doable! I’m so lucky to have found such a great team.

My husband and I are relatively new to the area, and so I chose Bayou City Smiles based on the great reviews and convenient location. We just had our routine cleanings/x-rays done by Dr Guzman and his hygienist,  Chriszelda, and it was a great experience!  The entire staff was personable and thorough, especially Chriszelda, who was super friendly and took the time to explain everything and offer tips, but didn’t try to sell us on lots of unnecessary procedures like we’ve had other dentists’ offices do.  Overall, it was a very pleasant experience!  No pain, no wait, and friendly, caring staff.  Plus, their location is so convenient, right above Zoe’s on Washington!  I’d definitely recommend them!

I was not happy with my current dentist and decided to give them a try. Best move I made in a long time. Everyone there is very friendly and professional. The office is clean and well organized. All the hardware and software are top notch and up to date. I am very happy with my move and I am moving forward with procedures I have been behind on for a while. The Dr. is friendly, dedicated and takes pride in his work. His commitment to making the experience as best as possible is equally upheld by the other staff. I have nothing but great things to say about the whole experience. I am telling everyone I know, I found a new great dentist.

First tooth extraction. I was scared but Marcus explained the procedure step by step and I was amazed & suprised. The next day I woke up with NO PAIN. WOW If you are looking for a dentist in the Houston area I strongly suggest you try Bayou City Smiles. The staff is friendly and all the dentist are highly skilled. They really help you to put your mind at ease and that’s helpful if you are a big chicken about going to the dentist like me.

I’ve been a patient of Bayou City Smiles and Dr. Guzman since May of 2010 and couldn’t see myself going anyplace else. Nine years later they aren’t just my dentist, they are truly family with every bi-annual appointment becoming an exciting reunion to catching up. The staff has grown and others have moved on over the years; however, the kind, friendly, and professional atmosphere have remained consistent. The staff and the Dr. have been-instrumental in ensuring I reach my oral health goals either through referrals or treatment plans. Speaking of referrals, Dr. Guzman himself has gone the extra mile to ensure as his patient; I receive the same level of friendliness and professionalism I would expect from his own office

I have been through tons of bad dentists and dental places. This place is the best place I have been. The office is nice and everyone is very nice and friendly. What stood out the most is that everyone working on your teeth genuinely makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Guzman and Chriszelda are great. Chriszelda has tips and tricks that helps to not have any pain while she cleans your teeth and does everything possible to make sure you’re okay. Dr. Guzman is also really nice and even called me the next day to make sure everything was okay. They explain every x-ray and educates everything about your teeth. There’s so much positive things about this place, but it really comes down to the people who make this place stand out. I’ll recommend this to anyone. Only bad part is they just informed me that they no longer take Delta Dental :/

I was there as a new patient on 2/5/2019 and I really enjoyed my experience there. I’ve been looking for a new dentist since about 6 months ago. What I really liked about this office is how effective, thorough and approachable the staffs are. My dental hygienist was Kate and she was wonderful. Not only she was gentle but she was also very skillful. Dr. De Guzman gave me the dental exam and he was very professional and thorough. Since I opt for more cleaning every 3 months, it matters to me how the pricing is as well. Their prices are very reasonable. I’d highly recommend this place. It will change your perspective about going to see a dentist!

I have been trusting Bayou City Smiles with my dental care, since I moved to Houston in 2010. I refuse to go anywhere else. They serve me with professionalism and superior quality dental services. Dr. De Guzman and his staff consistently exceed my expectations. I recommend their services to all my friends and loved ones. I have read some of the negative reviews, and these have to be taken with a grain of salt. Some customers will never be happy. They have zero medical training, unrealistic expectations, and they live in a bubble that prevents them from understanding anything beyond their own misperceptions. This is a wonderful dental practice, and they are extremely focused on customer satisfaction.

If you have a fear of dentist this is the place for you!! Everyone that works here is pleasant and kind. The dentist are very good at explaining to you what they will be doing and making sure you’re comfortable during your procedures. The front desk always explain what your cost will be and alway seem happy to see you. I have been coming here for years and still see the same employees I saw the first time I came!! That says a lot about the type of people that work here. Happy employees happy patients.

I’ve been coming for years and both doctors provide excellent care as well as all the staff!!! They’re also so friendly with my children which means so much to me. I get cleanings done with my two year old on my lap and the whole office just provides such a loving and relaxing atmosphere. My 6 year old also got his filling done here and Dr. DeGuzman is excellent and communicative with him!
