I hate going to the dentist ,but we all know we have to go. This place is the best one I have been to and have been going here for 5 years. I love that they text me to remind me of my appointment. The best thing for me is everyone makes me feel comfortable and I feel they care about how I feel. Even when I first startes going and my  teeth were in bad shape they made me feel good about taking the first step and coming in.

I am a new patient to this office and a very grateful one. As a very nervous person with high anxiety when it comes to dental work. However Dr. Kapoor put all that away from the first visit. He and his staff are very professional and welcoming. His voice is very calming and took away my anxiety at my first visit with him. He is also took the time to answer any questions I had. Dr. Vinay Kapoor at Baystate Dental is the best dentist I have ever had! I have complete confidence in him! He clearly is an expert in his field and it shows in his work. So happy that I was able to locate where this office had moved to. My account was acquired by Ascent Dental and without getting into too much detail, I ran into several problems with that group. When I asked Ascent staff where doctor Kapoor and the dental hygeniests had moved to, I was not given clear answers. After doing a little bit of research I realized that they had moved to Wilbraham and West Springfield. I had the opportunity to go to my regular hygienist today and remembered how great it was to be a part of the Baystate dental family. I was even fortunate enough to have a very heartfelt conversation with doctor Kapoor about the value I see from his practice. I would recommend Baystate Dental to anyone looking for a quality family dentist practice in the western Massachusetts area.

I’ve been going to Dr. Kapoor for over 16 years and wouldn’t trade him for anyone. Recently, after they had an office move, and I went out of my way to make sure my paperwork was transferred to his new office. Dr. Kapoor is a very good listener and communicator who doesn’t just give you a standard one-way talk, but rather listens to what you want as well.

My daughter is nervous in any kind of medical environment. The staff was so cheerful and friendly, from the front desk to the assistants, hygienist, to the dentist. Everyone did their best to make her feel at ease. She was allowed to sit on my lap for the entire visit, and relaxed more and more as everyone prepared her for what they would do and made it all seem very fun. Thank you!

Interesting to see the negative reviews. Now I will say that I am a Pansy when it comes to dental work and I have lousy teeth. I go there because they will do sedation work (They put me out). I’ve had nothing but positive results from these guys, but again it’s because only one of their dentists will do that kind of work. From and expense side I agree, they are pricier than others. If I need to have extensive work done or work that is going to cost a bunch, I always get a second opinion. (that typically costs you about 100.00 for that) These guys have always matched anything I’ve brought them. I’m happy with the service provided but again it may be more due to the Sedation, otherwise I’d have no teeth left in my mouth!

Like most people I have had bad experiences at the dentist. But I can honestly say that for the first time in my life I had a pleasant experience here. My dental assistant Zuleyka was phenomenal and listened to me ramble and helped me feel more at ease. They did an amazing job on my filling which you would never guess at all I had a filling done looking at it. As someone who has ample anxiety going to the dentist I recommend them entirely. The most comfortable I have ever felt at any dentist.

Let me tell you about my aversion to doctors, dentists, and anyone else that pokes and prods at me…. Once I passed out in the Wal-Mart vision center. Yep, complete panic attack, thought I was going blind, played possum. I also did this at the hairdresser, 5 hours before my ssiter’s wedding. I have to stay off WebMD and the like because once I burnt my tongue and convinced myself I had oral thrush brought on by HIV… even though there was NO WAY that this was even REMOTELY possible. I’m a basket case. So, making an initial visit after not going to a dentist for 3-4 years, knowing full well I at best had a broken tooth and at worst must have oral cancer and have to have my jaw removed… I was pretty sure I’d pass right out in the chair. I called on Monday and they were able to get me in that Thursday. I had to get there early to fill out paperwork. Upon walking in, everything was so bright and cheery and the staff was…. cheerful? I don’t expect that at any sort of health care facility, mouth, eye or otherwise. Ok, was able to breathe. Got paperwork done, and they took me almost immediately (10 minutes early) for my initial appointment. I wish I could remember the names of the dentist and her wonderful assistant. They had me cracking up from moment one. I was an early appointment, I wish I could remember all the banter going on between the two, but my favorite quote was “we aren’t going to take any heroic measures to save it” about my poor broken tooth. I couldn’t stop laughing, but they were still able to poke and prod in my mouth, despite the constant giggling. She also was right on top of an issue I’ve had since my tooth came in… last dentist I went to, I had to explain it to him. Friendly? Check. Clean? Check. Knowledgeable? Check. Freakin hilarious? Check. Turned me from Baby Huey without his bottle back into a sane human? Check check and CHECK! Made me want to go back to the DENTIST? Check! Billing… not cheap, I don’t have insurance, but seems pretty reasonable. Gotta pay 300 smackeroos for my wisdom tooth to come out in a few weeks. I was expecting it to be more expensive! I’ll take it. All in all, GREAT experience!!

Dr. Kapoor provided excellent dental treatment and repair of a an existing filling after a root canal. He is gentle and there was no pain as he took care of repairing the site. He is very easy to communicate with and listened to my needs after I went through a traumatic dental experience.The staff was friendly and set me at ease. I highly recommend him and this practice. Thank you again for your patience and support Dr. Kapoor and staff.

Very awesome. I’ve had my braces on for five years and throughout my experience, I’ve gotten to know the staff on a personal level. They always make me feel comfortable and socialize during every visit. I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially people who need braces. My teeth are straight and I I really like my smile.

Dr Kapoor is wonderful, very gentle and caring. The entire staff is very nice and I’m impressed with their attention to all covid CDC guidelines for staff and patient safety. I have had more dentist than I can count. Some ok to good, some very bad. I came to Baystate Dental because of my insurance change. I am recommending Dr Kapoor to my adult children!! He’s that good.

A few months back, I needed an emergency root canal and they were able to squeeze me in on my day off! I went back there recently for my crown and the doctor and DA were both very nice, explained everything going on in detail, and ensured that I was as comfortable and informed as I could be. Finally, when I needed to reschedule my permanent crown at the last minute, the receptionist couldn’t have been nicer about it! It is so refreshing to see a company take customer service seriously at every level! I HIGHLY recommend Baystate Dental in Wilbraham to anyone and everyone for your dental needs!!

Dr. Kapoor and his team are outstanding, they care, are nice and professional. With all my problems they all are putting me at ease and Dr. Kapoor is doing an excellent job. Never did I had a dentist who was not only caring but did a got me perfect crowns and bridges. I highly recommend Dr. Kapoor and his team. I also send my child to him and he has not one filling with his 13 years, because they take time and effort to clean his teeth and explain how to take care of your teeth. Highly recommended!

I have changed my last review to one which highlights Dr. Vinay Kapoor. I’ve been unable to figure out how to include two, separate reviews on the same establishment. So… Dr. Kapoor is a phenomenal dentist. He is an artist of dental materials… a sculptor. On top of that, he is all about caring, enlightening and positivity. I have a difficult time getting across exactly what I want to say, but let me also say that Dr. Kapoor is a dentist, whom, once you meet him, and have him take over your mouth, you will actually want to return again and again!! Who would ever think this of a dentist, of all people?!! But it’s true! He is a magician with his hands, and a guru with his demeanor! You will leave your appointment in a better state of mind and mouth, then when you arrived. It’s uncanny… the positive vibes he gives off. He is an irreplaceable person and dentist. Thank you for being like no one else! Stay awesome! Update… I want to say that, thanks to Dr. Kapoor, people on MA Health/One Care, Will now be able to attain covered Rx’s for Prevident dentifrice. After over three years of fighting to have the Rx covered again by MA Health, Dr Kapoor is the ONLY dentist… of over SIX MA Health dentists my daughter and I visited … who cared enough to push my daughter’s issue of caries ( due to a genetic syndrome she has that effects the integrity of the enamel on her teeth). Thanks to Dr. Kapoor’s unfailing dedication to superb care of the dental concerns of the disabled, his perseverance of assisting me to change the MA Health formulary resulted in Prevident being re-listed on the formulary!! Now, my daughter will again, be able to be cavity free due to the ability of being able to afford Prevident through MA Health. And, the citizens who have helped provide this awesome insurance to my daughter through their tax dollars, will now be saved thousands and thousands more dollars by not having to pay for unnecessary restorations due to the decay that the disabled have a difficult time( for many reasons)keeping at bay. So, thank you Dr.Kapoor for your awesome support, and thank you citizens of MA for helping to keep my daughter’s enamel INTACT again!!
