I recently had my teeth cleaned by Sandi. She is a total professional in every way and my mouth feels and looks great. The real point of this review is that I have been going to Beach Heights Dentistry for over 30 years and Sandi has been with the office even longer. Great people, great office, state-of-the-art in dental science.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Yen and his staff. I’ve been grinding my teeth since I was a young child and have had many bad habits such as chewing ice and guzzling soda. To top it all off,  I didn’t consistently wear a bite plate at night until my 30s. Even though I’m only in my 40s, by the time I first saw Dr. Yen, about half the length of my teeth was gone, the enamel had been worn down to the dentine on most of my teeth and all of my molars were concave in appearance. I was told what I had known in the back of my mind for some time; I needed to have some significant work done if I didn’t want to be wearing dentures in my 50s. Dr Yen devised a plan to build up my bite by adding temporary plastic caps before putting in permanent porcelain crowns|veneers to all my teeth. It took my a year for me to finally pull the trigger and go ahead. In addition to the price, which I realized was worth it given I hoped to have my new teeth for many decades to come, I didn’t really like the idea of having so much work done in my mouth, especially since my entire dental experience consisted of only cleanings and two fillings to that point.  I was also worried about the appearance, particularly of the plastic caps, because I know how easily people’s attention can be drawn to bad| unnatural looking dental work. Believe it or not, the permanent crowns and veneers took only two days to install, and though I initially requested gas, I went through the whole process the old-fashioned way with a minimal amount of pain and discomfort. Throughout the process, Dr. Yen and his staff were extremely solicitous, even going so far as to buy me chocolate milkshakes for lunch. And the results, dare I say, are fantastic. My friends and family have been very impressed, and no one I’ve met on street has raised an eyebrow or asked my about “fake-looking” teeth. If any of you are in the position I was in, I would go in to Dr. Yen for a consult and get the process started before you lose any more of your teeth!

I had my first encounter with Dr. Yen over 20 years ago.  I had been without a proper lower partial for 19 years.  I was never able to get one that fit properly until I found Dr. Yen.  He suggested that I get two implants, which I did, and he provided the partial to fit them.  That was many, many years ago and I still have the same partial and it is wonderful.  I couldn’t speak or write more highly of Dr. Yen and his staff.  They are very friendly, competent, and interested in making the patient comfortable and informed.  Dr. Yen is a perfectionist and it shows in his work.  By the way, his office is full of his own art work which is very beautiful.  He is multi-talented and that is an asset as in his profession.  Very highly recommend Dr. Yen.

Been going to this dentistry for years! Top notch and a very relaxing environment. Sandy cleans my teeth and is the best! Dr Fasnault is a great dentist.    I have been going to Dr Yen for years for more advanced dental work and he is so calm and precise with his dental work, really listens to you and has a very conservative approach to dental work. Basically he will save your teeth as long as possible! Dr. Yen has done such a nice job with remodeling recently… new advanced equipment,beautiful artwork, relaxing water features, cozy blankets…feels like a spa. Best dentist in the area!
