First off, they have pretty awesome toothbrush art. Its almost like an art gallery in there! Now on to the dental stuff…..I have a history of dental anxiety but Dr. Ip really was so patient and answered all my questions without the slightest hint of annoyance. Lots of dentists say they listen to their patients, but they really DO listen here and take their time. The office is brand new and everything is up to date. I have already had dental work done here and have had 0 issues! In the past, I have to go back and forth to get adjustments or have lots of sensitivity afterwards at my previous dental offices. They have great Covid protocols and I felt as safe as someone can feel safe given the Covid situations. I did notice a few air filtration units running throughout the office. Their staff is very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me navigate my dental insurance. I did not get the vibe that they were out to “find” cavities. Dr. Ip pretty much showed everything with an xray or camera that they use to take photos of teeth inside your mouth. I can’t deny a black hole on a tooth, bummer. Oh ya, and they have TVs on the ceiling! I can watch Netflix or HGTV to take my mind off the procedure. Soooo much better than staring at the ceiling or into a blinding light!

It’s extremely difficult to find one good dentist, let alone two excellent ones! Both Drs. Ip and Cao consistently provide thorough, apt, and gentle care. They are refreshingly friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. (I’m proud to say that I was their patient first, then we easily became good friends!) In their own space at Bellevue Dental Studio, they provide a true boutique experience using the latest technology and comfortable settings that actually make dental appointments feel enjoyable. This is, by far, the best place I’ve personally found in the Seattle or Southern California areas in terms of quality of experience, service, and environment. I highly recommend these great doctors and immaculate, modern studio to everyone. I personally do not have dental insurance yet believe it is completely worth the value.

I am really impressed with Bellevue Dental Studio for many reasons. Personally I have a fear of the dentist but the staff here made sure that I felt comfortable and confident in their process of medical treatment and care for patients. Everyone there is easy to talk to, kind, and understandable. The environment is very casual. I was offered various beverages from the minifridge upon arrival. The cleaning itself went well and didn’t feel uncomfortable at all during the procedure. Even let me watch TV while getting it done! The ability to schedule the first appointment online was a major plus. Parking was a bit confusing, but their website gave clearer instructions with pictures. Overall highly recommended.

All the questions and information that was provided made it easy to understand. My experience was different from my past dental experience. I was able to watch TV and was offered to listen to music of my choice. After my 3D X-rays, Dr Jonathan Ip uploaded them on a big screen TV. Best dental experience ever! I moved to Seattle recently and after hearing many horror stories about other dentist, It took me a while to find a good dentist that I trust. The team at Bellevue Dental Studio is absolutely perfect! You can tell that they have a great work atmosphere as well as a passion for what they do and immense professionalism and deep working knowledge. The receptionist was lovely and welcoming and offered a great contact free check in service that still felt personalized. She was quick and efficient and I could barely take a seat before I was called back to start my appointment. I had absolutely ZERO wait time. How refreshing! She was very organized and check In was effortless! Dr. Jonathan did a great job of explaining exactly what was going on with my teeth. I don’t have a PhD or anything so I don’t understand dental jargon. But I didn’t need too! It was easy to understand the evaluation and that gave me a sense of ease. His expertise is unmatched by any other dentist. His ability to communicate not only the issues with my teeth but how they affected my health and making that connection was very important to me. I was actually motivated and want to return to get my work done ASAP. In my past experiences, dentist always try to upsell you on a bunch of products and procedures. Not at Bellevue Dental Studios, they make recommendations and allow you to make decisions on what the next move is for you. I didn’t feel any pressure at all. Amazing! The dental hygienist was a darling. The youthful energy of a recent grad was welcome because she still took pride and care in making sure everything was done perfectly and didn’t cut any corners. It speaks to the training they provide to the staff, when your dental hygienists is so professional and well versed that she is actually just as knowledgeable as the dentist. Even during Covid, I was able to trust that my teeth were in good hands.I never write reviews but this experience was so great I had to share it!

I just had my first appointment with Bellevue Dental Studio and I have to say, it was the first time I did not mind my dentist appointment at all! Dentists are typically a place I don’t get excited to visit… because mentally I’m like – do i want to hear bad news today? or how much will this cost or hurt this visit? BUT i made myself a promise that I pay for dental insurance, it’d be stupid not to use it. So I made a commitment to go as often as I am allowed to go. I searched over the last few years and tried out different dentists and was never wow’d by any of my experience as I always just felt like a patient that should know all the dental terminologies that were thrown at my during my consultation, then i pay my dues and am on my way – teeth feeling clean but unsure of what should be done next. Then I found Bellevue Dental Studio (thanks to my FEDEX driver) – I met Dr. Johnathan Ip and his team and a wonderful team they are. Immediately greeted by Joy and I felt welcomed and no tension or anxiety right off the bat. There was something about the studio that just put me at ease. Then I met Crystal (unsure of spelling) and she was very personable and we talked about life and family, hockey and the PNW. Then I met Dr. Ip – who is a laid back guy and we talked about all sorts of stuff and got to know one another, addressed my concerns of my teeth. We got some x-rays done and he went over them and used fancy terms but also translated it to me so that I could understand what he was talking about. I’ve been to a few dentists before and he was the first one ever that I can recall – just slow it down and make sense of what he was discussing. We established a plan of action and when I came back for a follow up we discussed that plan of action and the next steps needed to take. Very professional and personable. I’m impressed! I would not hesitate to recommend Bellevue Dental Studio to anyone that has dental needs!

If you would like to try a new experience with dental office, this office is definitely for you! I found them on social media and decided to give it a shot although I lived a little far away from Bellevue. I have never felt so comfortable at dental office until I visited Bellevue Dental Studio. The office was clean, modern, everything was set up perfectly and patient friendly. Dr. Jonathan was super friendly! he went over all of the concerns I had. He also pointed out things I needed to look out as he was going over the X-ray images. Like other reviews mentioned, the whole operation staff from front desk, Dental assistant were above and beyond, they made me feel like a friend instead of a patient. Dr. Jonathan was very attentive and friendly. I have some tooth mobility and want to use invisalign to fix some teeth that are a little out of place. Dr Jonathan had me do some exams on the same day and not only verified the mobility but also showed me on the exams how there was some bone missing in certain areas and how it could be risky to start with invisalign on that situation, and that it would be safer to try to get some stability first. He reached out to my periodontist and prepared a joint treatment plan so I can get my best smile without having to worry about losing a tooth for mobility, which I really appreciate! I also appreciate the ability to setup appointments online, how the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the office looks very new and clean.

This place is sooooo cute!!! I enjoyed every moment I had at this location. I’m not too familiar with the Bellevue area, so I had a hard time finding parking. I was on the phone with the front desk concierge until I arrived at my appointment! This place validates your parking! I am a big fan of supporting small family own businesses because I work in one. Tess, who is the patient concierge, was so kind and informative! There is coffee and drinks as complimentary. Dr. Jonathan was so friendly, sweet, comfortable and is an amazing dentist! He very patient with me answering all of my questions and concerns. I received a cleaning by Tanya who did an amazing job! During your session, you’re able to watch TV while getting your teeth worked on which can distract you and lower your anxiety if you’re afraid of the dentist! I’ve been searching for a good dental place in Bellevue for awhile and this dental place is amazing! The whole experience was beyond my expectations. I was very impressed by the exceptional service during my first appointment how much time Dr. Johnathon Ip spent explaining and helping me understand each of the x-rays, problem areas, and how to better take care of my teeth.
