I have been so impressed with Dr. Chang, Dr. Chu, his assistants, and office staff!! We have been there for 2 years and although braces aren’t fun, they have made it a good experience. They are friendly, understanding, they listen, and her teeth look terrific. Dr. Chang did exactly what he said he was going to do in the time he said he was going to do it. It’s not difficult to get appointments and they are flexible. I couldn’t be more happy and satisfied with our experience.

I spent months going to consultations around the scv and LA, and ultimately decided to begin treatment with Dr. Chang. It’s been two years working with him and his staff and I’ve never once doubted my decision. I’m constantly reminded what good hands I’m in: getting in for last minute appts, covered Invisalign changes, or just a referral to an oral surgeon/dentist. I’m coming to the end of my treatment plan but will need to have a few oral surgeries in the near future. It’s been such a relief knowing that these surgeries will be done by other professionals that Dr. Chang respects and trusts. He’s a true professional with a great eye for detail. I can’t thank him enough!

My son had a mouth full of problems. Four years ago we consulted with three different Orthodontists. The three thought it best to remove my son’s two front top teeth in order to start the problem solution. Yes they had good reasons for this, but neither my son nor I wanted this temporary gap. Then our family dentist recommended us to Dr. Chang. Dr. Chang’s solution did not include removing the two front top teeth. His solution was so, so simple and understandable. It put both my son and I at ease. His staff is very communicative and pleasant. His prices and pay plans are very fair. My son had his braces removed today and boy is he satisfied with the look of his teeth and with the easy process that he went through to get them to look good. THANK YOU, Dr. Chang and staff! I’d like to share my overall experience with Dr. Chang… First, I’d like to say that I was referred to Dr. Chang by my pediatric dentist (Dr. Singer) years ago to make my a replacement retainer that I lost back in high school. Now much older, I decided to return to Dr. Chang to correct some issues that have bothered me for years. My treatment started back in 2013 and Dr. Chang recommended invisalign to correct some of the minor issues that I had. After the completion of my first set of trays and I was still not perfectly happy with my bite and the overall outcome, Now 2016 and on my 3rd set of trays, Dr. Chang is still addressing my concerns to make me perfectly happy with the overall experience. Dr. Chang and his office staff have been nothing but exemplary in providing the best customer service while exceeding expectations with every office visit. I wouldn’t see anyone else for any orthodontic work and I live about an hour away!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chang and his staff. If I could give 10 stars I would. My daughter just got her braces off today and her teeth are beautiful. After careful consideration and interviewing many orthodontists we selected Dr. Chang to be our son’s orthodontist. We have been very happy with this decision. Dr. Chang estimated 15 months for my son and that is exactly the amount of time it took…We couldn’t believe it! My son has a gorgeous smile and his teeth look great! I started going to Dr. Chang way back when it was Dr. Caruso’s office in Newhall. So I’ve been going here since I was a little kid. What else can I say other than I have straight teeth and all of my teeth. While a lot of other orthos wanted to pull teeth instead of taking the more time consuming method of actually moving my teeth I’m happy to say that I have all of my teeth. Actually that’s a lie, I don’t have those stupid wisdom teeth. But that didn’t have anything to do with Dr. Chang, that was just bad genetics. The staff is great and always happy. They even remembered me after having not gone to the office in over 5 years. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I hope I’m famous in the office for having nice teeth, not infamous for being a bad patient. They were even able to squeeze me in the same day I called when I broke a retainer and I had a chance to check out the new office which is so much nicer than the old one in Newhall. I’m so happy with how my teeth came out. Dr. Chang is a great guy too. When I was in high school we had to job shadow a person to research potential careers and Dr. Chang allowed me to job shadow him. I didn’t go into dentistry but I was really grateful that he made time for something like that.

One of the reasons why we went with Dr. Chang instead of other orthodontic offices is that he was very clear about the total cost of treatment up front. He didn’t try to “nickel and dime” us like other offices had. Another thing I liked was how easy it was to make after school appointments or to come in when a bracket or wire came loose. His staff is professional, friendly, and competent. My son had a stubborn tooth that didn’t want to cooperate, but Dr. Chang never gave up! He was the only one that said he could do it. My other daughter went through and now has an amazing smile. Now I am here again for my son. He was able to get his braces on at 7am! I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Chang/Dr. Chu! They have a wonderful office staff who is willing to work with you. We had one child go through another local ortho, who was great too, but I am so impressed with this office. I had an 11 year old who we had been checking visually yearly and waiting until all baby teeth fell out, jr. High was beginning and she wanted to get this started now because she wanted braces off by 9th grade. We went in for consult with Dr. Chu/Dr. Chang and they took a full pano X-ray (free of charge) and saw that some of the teeth weren’t going to come out on their own, he gave us a few options on what we could do. If we hadn’t taken that pano X-ray we would still be waiting! We had some extractions done by our amazing dentist and then went back in for braces. It’s been 6 months since she’s had them on and every thing they have done is impressive! I’m so glad we are here and blown away with all the work they are doing! They are very proactive in their work! Great Dr’s and staff all the way around!! I will recommend them hands down to everyone!

Dr Chang did my Invisalign for a TMJ/clenching problem I had and not only did it resolve the clenching problem and realign my bite, but my teeth look straight and beautiful. He and his staff are professional, friendly and super competent. I still go whenever I have any need 10 years later ( i.e. replacement retainer for night ) and they treat me like they saw me yesterday. Dr Chang and his staff are awesome.

Dr Chang provided orthodontics care to both my daughters. His office staff were always friendly and professional. They were always available and interested in our daughters. They provided us with superior orthodontic care with state of the art office and equipment. Appointments were set and there was very little wait time from check in to service. My one daughter has great fear with going to the dentist and having anyone inside her mouth. Her fear was reduced due to Dr. Chang and his staff being sensitive to her concerns. I wanted to quickly share a great experience i am having with Dr. Chang. My periodontist recommended that Dr. Chang can fix my lower front teeth, they are very crowded and have been most of my adult life. I am 48 now. I had braces when i was a kid and it was not the best experience at all, i remember this very clearly. Knowing that i was reluctant to even step foot in another Orthodontist office. Dr. Chang had me stop in his office for a quick consult, they took some pictures of my mouth (painless) and he informed me that i could have “invisiline” trays. These are NOT braces rather clear trays you cannot even see, that sounded great to me. Dr. Chang was very informative, i was not being sold. I was totally at ease in his office. His office was clean and organized and the staff called me by name when i entered the office, not sure how they knew it was me, but it was a great touch. I have been back to Dr. Changs office for 2 appointments now, one to take impressions of my mouth (painless) and about 3 weeks later to pick up my trays. The last appointment Dr. Chang worked on my teeth to prep them for the trays, a few anchor points were added (painless) to a few teeth and the trays were popped in. I just wanted to share this wonderful and easy experience. I will be seeing Dr. Chang about 4 -5 times over the next 20 weeks, then i will have straight teeth, without braces…and so far, day 2 of the first trays, i am not experiencing any discomfort like i recall from my childhood braces! Dr. Chang and his offer staff are fantastic and have made this experience very easy for me. I hope this helps anyone looking for orthodontist care in the Valencia area.
